The first thing Sirin does upon waking is bring her hands up to her headdress. It was there, fastened to her head, full, unbroken, uncracked. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be grateful or disappointed, but surely any damage done to the helmet would be damage done to her. Sirin gets herself up to her feet with a huff and dusts off her blue dress before getting a look at her surroundings. It was... it was somewhere. Different. It wasn't a Scarlet Chorus camp, so that was a plus if nothing else. She walks forward with a downtempo pace, unsure about every corner.

Personality:
Sirin can sometimes come across as bossy and tends to call people "worms," but she's kind and sympathetic to those who don't earn her ire.

History:
Born in a nameless farming village, Sirin's powers first manifested at an early age with her cries. Her father was quick to take advantage of her gifts, touring her through many villages, having her use her voice for profit, as if singing to a broken leg would make it heal faster. Her mother, the only one who treated Sirin as a person, traveled with them until she became pregnant. The absence of her mother greatly troubled Sirin, and at the age of five, she sang and caused her to miscarry. It wasn't long before her father decided to sell Sirin to Kyros the Overlord, and in the process turning their home village against her.

In a surreal confrontation, a group of angry farmers accusing Sirin of causing trouble began throwing stones; her mother died shielding her from the rocks, and as she cried and screamed, the villagers began attacking and killing each other. Kyros' soldiers arrived shortly and took Sirin into their custody, having her train with the Empire's finest mages. Her powers increased over the years and she became a courtier and entertainer for the Overlord at the capital, and with her newfound influence she managed to track down her father, only to drive him to suicide.

At twelve, Sirin was called on to sing during an event with Kyros present. With all her power, she managed to influence Kyros, attempting to persuade them to drive a blade through their heart. However, in her eagerness, she lost control and Kyros regained their awareness. Kyros and the Voices of Nerat had Sirin wear a special headdress that not only greatly suppressed her powers, but would kill her if not removed properly. She was also banished from the court and was made to serve Nerat- an abomination, "the Archon of Secrets."- by influencing the army it led.
