SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got back from watching Maleficent at the movie theatre, and I gotta say, I LOVEEEEE RETELLINGS. So, Lil' Ol' Me has decided to get a little roleplay together taking a few little stories and turning them into something strange, wonderful, and alltogether different from the original tellings.

As opposed to the movies that have come out with these WONDERFUL retellings, I do not plan on using Grimm Fairytails! They are wonderfully dark and endearing, true, but they are currently being overused and, hell, I guess I'm sort of a hipster with things.

So instead, we shall deal with... MOTHER GOOOOOOSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE.
Yeah, freaky huh? XD

There are several stories in the "Mother Goose Universe," all of which aren't explained very well. We understand the three little piggies built houses that were blown down, Little Red was sabed from a wolf by a lumberjack, Lil' Bo Peep lost her sheep, Lil' Miss Muffet saw a spider. But what if we put a dark, but magical twist to these stories? Staining their innocence with the story that the world DOESN'T know?

So, I want to do a sort of "nexus" style to which all Mother Goose stories, well-known and rarely told, are in the same world and happen relatively close to one another, with the characters weaving relationships in between stories, and obtaining personalities that we have no inclination of!

As a start up, I'd like to reign in the stories of Lil' Red, The Three Pigs, and Miss Muffet and start with crafting those into a roleplay, then possibly intricating more like Goldilocks. Depending on what you guys bring to me. I can also deal with a few Grimm Fairy Tails, as long as I've never heard of them XD

SO without further adieu, I set out this IntChk to see if anyone wants to do this with me, and take our childhood memories and pierce them with the maturity!

Edit:
The Pigs are mien.

Five minutes of nausea is not a license to lulstomp the actions and damage that two characters combined have done for fifteen minutes. Anyway, I'm done with this, Betel will probably say something as it is. Seriously consider putting more thought into Ocean's character and limitations, real limitations, especially considering your CS says he can move "a bit of water" or "five gallons of water."

Do you realize how long five minutes of being extremely vulnerable can be? A bullet can kill someone in a split second, in that five minutes of weakness he's a sitting duck.

And as to the five gallons, You can be creative with limitations >:| But I'm going to wait on the GM, this argument is pointless

Maybe you would like to point it out, and not the whole inability to stop the exploding cars because he's not "a GOD" of water.Wow, a little nausea.

Debilitating nausea. The kind someone gets after giving blood, the kind that can knock you out? He has fifteen minutes of kickass and about five minutes of "Oh god they're going to kill me."

And he can't put out exploding cars because water can't put out electrical and gas fires.

I had a lot more to say, but instead, consider this, Collins is putting everything she has into just trying to slow down the vault door and pillar. She can't stop both, or even just one, and she's forced to choose to try to hold them as long as possible to try to save people even when she knows Pheonix is about to knock the shit out of her. Ocean just negates the pillar with "a flick of the hand," like it was nothing.I'm not asking or telling you to edit your post, we'll probably just leave it as is. I'm asking you to give more thought to your character and his limits, what he can and can not do, what tires him. Moving water requires energy if you want to be very hardcore about it. Energy goes into increasing the water pressure enough in fire hydrants to get them to explode, and so on.

You missed something in the post before about Ocean's limits, I'd go back and read it.
When Ocean is using his powers he gets incredibly sick every fifteen-thirty minutes and has to wait for five-ten minutes to get better.

There's something wrong when the water guy negates and fixes all the damage caused by two other Supers, both of which exhausted themselves causing the damage, like it was nothing, without any real exertion on his part. Pretty much everything except the exploding cars because he's not "a GOD".

Quick fixes, he doesn't repair the damage, he keeps people from dying ._.
It's natural that the water guy puts out a fire without thinking. That's what water does to fire. And he doesn't douse all the fires on the street, he causes water hydrants to explode with his powers. If he did it with his powers alone, of course he'd be taking some time and energy.

I mean, if it was Pulse doing all the damage then Ocean would be able to do very little.

But water is a natural counter to fire, it shouldn't be surprising Ocean uses that to his advantage.

Also.
"This is a RP about superpowered people, not hard science, so I bend the rules and let the Rule of Cool take over when it makes sense."
You realize both Marvel and DC comics revolve their storyline heavily around science and shit?

I fully understand what plasma is. Pheonix and whatever he wears unaffected by it naturally due to his powers(plus burning all his clothes off every time he uses it wouldn't be very nice) and I assume he can focus it enough to not hurt what he doesn't want hurt. This is a RP about superpowered people, not hard science, so I bend the rules and let the Rule of Cool take over when it makes sense.

I know, still. When you wave off the water guy like he's nothing, there's something wrong there xD

-creates a quick post in order to repair all of the brother's damage-

Jesus Christ. Will I ever get to do actual RP or is Ocean's good nature going to force him to constantly be cleaning up after Phoenix? XD

Also, I'd be watching about using "plasma"
The heat generated by plasma would... No should, be enough to burn his clothes and even his brother at such a short distance. So if you use plasma, keep in mind it needs to be not so close to the hands k? Cause like... Fire has a ton of collateral damage, and it's not always catching things on fire.

I'm not trying to be a stickler, it's just that there seems to be a lack of understanding of what heat does.

The only natural instance on earth of plasma is lightning bolts, and they superheat the air so fast it causes a sonic boom. Shooting plasma bolts would have left everyone deaf by now.
Ocean was extremely pissed that his opponent had decided to use fire in such a cowardly manner. People with no skill to wield the power they've been given should never have it in the first place. The blaze vanished in a flash as steam rose from the spot Phoenix had tried to throw fire at him. He turned to see the vault and the pillar and with a flick of the hand the pillar was frozen into place by a chunk of ice.

"Idiot children." Ocean muttered under his breath as he watched the duo leave with the money. When Phoenix's blaze went crowd ways, Ocean once again made it disappear in a flash as a shield of ice was obliterated and turned into steam. His blood WAS boiling in anger at such recklessness and disrespect of life. Power did not make one immune to the natural order, and that had him pissed off to the extreme

Ocean ran outside and made quick work of several fire hydrants in order to counteract Phoenix's blaze. The water shot skyward and doused the streets, but the exploding cars where out of his control, he wasn't a GOD of water after all.

He ran back into the bank to where the telekinetic cop had been struck by the mock ninja idiot, cutting his hand with a piece of glass to absorb his sword back into himself and holding it away from him to heal as he knelt down to see if the damage was bad. It didn't seem all that bad, but just in case, Ocean gathered a little moisture on her scalp and froze it just a tad to her hair so she'd have a mock ice pack to dull the pain when she awoke.
