notdeadyet just want to say sorry for not remaining active in faction war :( I forgot about it.
Nice hook, but you need to flesh out the bait a little more.

More details will bring more people.
Hello? :)
Sounds cool and all.

Will it be like a slice of life with added japanese god familiars and also the fact that magic exists because we are or will become mages?

Other questions:
How will magic really exist in this story? How will it be used?

Maybe magic will either be learned through books or be inherent in an individual as a talent(s) that they can control/summon/use to transform thing(s) from the time that they are born.

Perhaps individuals who are born with it are called wilders and the ones that have first learnt it through books are called adepts.

Another thing is how will/where will the magic manifest?
Could magic be apart of the environment where an individual or everybody could manipulate the cell structure of a substance. The process of changing that substance's shape, the very act of that could take away from the substance until there is nothing left.

Also added on to the paragraph right above this one ^, perhaps there could be the idea of (Got this from full metal alchemist) the idea of equivalent exchange where if you manage to manipulate something of the environment then it would cost you something. Perhaps the cost would only be energy leading to your exhaustion or perhaps something more.

^ Perhaps this would be one of the talents of magic users.

Maybe another talent of magic would be summoning, through the use of incantations or sheer power of will, depending upon what you wish to summon. For example in order to summon a fireball, perhaps a few appropriate words spoken would be enough to do this, but if it was to summon an animal that exists somewhere else it would require a very long incantation or someone with a very strong will that truly desires with total focus to summon the beast. The cost of this would be higher than the manipulation talent because your working with less and usually doing more.

Another talent of magic could be transformation magic. The ability to alter the composition and or the appearance of an object or living being. The cost of this would be higher then the manipulation or summoning talents because it is more difficult to change something or others or yourself into something completely different. It requires intense concentration and being detail oriented.

These are just suggestions that I thought might help.
I'm interested but if there is a lot of people already joining, then I will bow out.

I don't like roleplays exploding. :)
I'm also in and waiting for c.s. sheet. :)
I'd rather do a group roleplay. It is usually easier for me.
I am dropping out.

Hope you guys enjoy the story.

Maybe I'll get to roleplay with you guys another time.
The I.C. exploded in less than 24 hours.

Because of this I think it's going to continue like this and I don't think I can comfortably keep up.

I'm throwing in the towel before I put in my intro post.

The only consolation is that maybe I didn't leave certain characters waiting like if I quit later on?

Anyway, I'm sorry about this.
The two handed battle axe swished through the air as Mosh practiced his battle forms at a clearing, a short walk away from the 'Hunter's Fort'. He was starting to understand the saying; "A change is as good as a break", that was told to him once. The reason of his enjoyment of this solitude, away from others was that it was so much quieter. The raucous laughter and non-stop chattering of all the people in the fort, was starting to irritate him. This whole time he was in full armor, and he still trained in it, to improve himself by pushing his limits. And so, He decided to finish his combat exercise by dashing forwards, leaping and then spinning his whole body and weapon two full rotations and then while still airborne-crashing down with his weapon as it sliced a deep groove into the ground below him.

He then walked around a little to calm the rapid beating of his heart. As his breathing became normal, he reached underneath his helmet to wipe the sweat off his forehead. Satisfied with the exhaustion his training brought him he then heard someone nearby talk about breakfast and how good it was.

He knew from that, that he was late and needed to hustle in order to save as much face as he could. So his adrenaline kicked in as he swiftly strapped his weapon to his back and stormed past the two he had overheard, ignoring their gasps of shock as he proceeded towards the fort's front doors.

He ignored his loud, clinging and clanging of his armor as he ran. Several minutes later arriving at the dining hall.

He raised his voice to be heard through his helmet, "You people better have saved some for me!"

He then quickly grabbed a plate and hoped that he wasn't out of luck.

He was slightly worried about what Heidrek would think of him being late today, as he was the only one that Mosh ever really respected or cared about. Even all the great things that were spoken about the new commander didn't convince mosh that he was worthy of being a leader and mosh knew that for him to follow the new guy that this new guy would have to prove himself first.
