Oh, I hadn't yet read the IC to see that Athinar really did burn down the inn.Hmmm.... I don't like to restrict your freedom, but I don't know that I like the idea of burning down Night-Raven Inn at this moment; there's still some functionality in it that pertains to the storyline (and possibly the sequel).Could you redo or edit your latest post Athinar? I'll be sure to let you burn something else down in the future. ;)EDIT: And I was wondering if you guys are getting any sort of bad vibes from Joric... what do you think of him? What do you make of the greatsword on his back? And who do you think he is speaking to? If you didn't notice, he has to touch the hilt of the sword to speak to... whoever it is (no spoilers!).EDIT2: And what do you think caused the earthquake at the keep?

Can we let him burn it down, because I just finished my post with the Inn being burned down... :l

My character was mostly preoccupied with heading to the baths and I don't think he would of had much of a chance to notice Joric, even if he wasn't preoccupied.

I think a monster caused the earthquake, it would have to be mythical or some such thing to accomplish that though.
At hearing the Innkeeper accept the bargain, Dale pulled his sac, whilst carrying his shoes over to the counter, dropping his shoes on the floor, he dug out three of his best eggs from the sac and handed them over to the innkeeper, taking the keys in exchange. "Thank you very much, sir."

He then turned to a man with green eyes addressing some people gathered around him-what he got out of the conversation was that-the man thought that the keep was an interesting mystery and he was inviting people to travel with him towards it tomorrow. He pondered about joining the guy for a moment and then decided that the man would be a friend, thus taking him up on his proposition. Dale walked up to the stranger as he was getting his room keys, "Hey I'm Dale and I'm heading to Valuun as well and I'd be glad to join you on your journey there." Without waiting for the man's answer Dale hurriedly took up his possessions, and made his way straight to the baths.

A good half hour later and after a good deal of scrubbing, him and his clothes were clean. Then found his room, unlocked it, changed into his sleeping clothes, dropped onto his bed and fell a sleep, quickly, while pondering about all the interesting things that had happened this night. A good ten hours later, he was on the verge of waking up when he heard, "Move, Move, Move!"

C'mon, is there really any rush for us to leave our rooms in the morning? He thought exasperatedly to himself. His answer came swiftly, in the form of smoke flooding his nostrils as soon as he opened his room's door. His eyes wiedned as he turned to the left and saw flame spreading like a forest fire and knew there was only two options, vacate or perish. He gathered his stuff and scrambled down the stairs and outside the Inn, looking at how sad the place looked as its roof burned to ash.

He then saw an elderly man, who looked like he knew of magic next to a young woman and the bartender, and wondered idly if he knew about how the fire started. He decided to keep silent, as he knew emotion would run rampant and the last thing he wanted was for somebody to lose it on him for asking the wrong questions at the wrong time.
You had to go burning the place down...
Zeo was in super high spirits having finished his three year vacation, quite a few miles from his stage in Chicago. He was on a carriage pulled by four strong horses, with three of his performing colleagues. The one to the right of him was Brock, the one behind and to the right was Seth, The one right behind him was Gerid.

"Wasn't those actors in texas just awesome, or what?" Zeo asked the guys.

"The main actor was certainly very dramatic, I thought the other actors were going to cower away, just because of the way that guy looked at them." Seth commented sarcastically.

The other two laughed loudly from the joke. It was like this all the time, they never really had anything bad to say about one another and even if they did they were always nice about it. The cart had a wooden storage chest that was packed with a lot of canned goods as well as some fruit, some hunting equipment and some blankets just in case they fell on hard times.

Zeo shook his pouch of coins that hung next to his daggers and sword, the first thing he planned to do was to go clothes shopping in his favorite shop as soon as he reached Chicago.

A few days later they arrived in Chicago and were cheering as they entered the city's walls. Minutes passed as they drove further and further into the city, they noticed one very strange thing.

There was no people.... Not just a person here or there, there was no one around at all.. What the... A ghost town, my home city is a ghost town?? He shook his head there was no way... This place was bustling with life last he saw...

Brock saw his face and added, "Maybe its those creatures I heard about once that go around stinging people, maybe they have scared everyone into hiding?"

Zeo considered but still didn't want to believe it, "Well I say we check this place out from top to bottom and see what we see..."

The other guys were in agreement with Zeo if not as confident as him.

They continued driving around and eventually reached the end of an alley where a fallen door caught Zeo's attention, "Guys I'm going to check this out, stay back and make sure no one takes off with the carriage." Noticing the guys accept his decision, he put a hand to his waist where his daggers were and advanced towards the door keeping an eye out for any surprises.
Ok... ........ -______- No one has given me any observations specifically about my character and I don't know if he is accepted or not.
Story recap?

Also I'd like to mention that I am allied with the demon brother.

Character Resubmission: Appearance:
Name: Zeo Fraide
Age: 19
Class:Samurai
Power(s): Slammer- He can control how gravity affects his body, thus allowing him to amplify the force upon himself, whenever he chooses.

Jelly Man- His body can twist/bend and is generally much more flexible than the average human body.

Strengthen- Passive power, whatever weapon he is touching with his hands, becomes as durable as diamond, without increasing its weight. This only works for as long as he is holding the weapon.

Weakness:Fatigue, by using too many or too much of his powers, his body and/or mind will tire and leave himself vulnerable to attacks.

Background: He grew up in a small village, with a modest life. Until he ran away from home at the age of seven, because of his boring parents and their strict rules.

After venturing around for a few days, begging for money in order to live-he encountered a fight in a nearby village. He watched it, a little surprised that he wasn't the only one. There was a ring of spectators around this conflict-that turned out to be a friendly competition between dojos. After having seen the end result, a few men pulled him over and invited him to their dojos. He was very surprised that they wanted him because he didn't have a clue about fighting. Moments later a strange, middle aged, man came over and sent the other men away, then explained to the kid, "If you want to become strong, the best way is to learn from me." Something from his face told Zeo that he could trust him. Years of training showed him how to use quite a few different weapons. Some of which are the yari or (spear), yumi or (longbow) and kanabo or two handed spiked club..

After about twelve years, his teacher or what some might call a Daimyo, sent him packing with a simple, "Your more then capable to take on anyone, kid. But make sure to come back and see me one day." And that was it, leaving him to go explore the world.

Fun Fact: He likes climbing things, to be able to have a "bird's eye view."
I prefer MxF because I pretty much always play male characters. I like the Celebrity x Regular person pairings and I think it could be really fun to roleplay.
Cool if I played a Raven and a Polar bear then?
Alright, I'm late to the party, but I'm psyched for this. It reminds me of a book series I read, back in junior high. Except this story has humans and mutations involved.

What about marine creatures: Dolphins are good?
Sharks are evil?
Orca's depend on the individual whether they are good or bad?
Also would there be seals, otters, eels, crabs, whales and octopus?

I'm thinking about playing a Raven and an Otter if they would be in this story.
I'd like to post a character for this roleplay.
