Morrison always enjoyed the boat ride to the island. It gave him time to catch up with any old friends he saw or talk to newer students who were often nervous or unsure of the academy itself. While there wasn't much to do but talk or enjoy the warm weather it was good enough to keep a blind person content along the way or at least enough for him. He listened to all of the conversations he could while moving about the ship as far as he dared to venture, and it reminded him a bit of his first year. Of course he had been going for quite some time now but the place felt like a second home to him and he never felt any less glad to be back from the break.

When the crowd rushed to get off the large boat he usually stayed at the back of them because as good as he was at navigating crowds it wasn't something he liked to test with a bunch of cooped up teenagers trying to get off the boat at mach 2. He was rather glad to get a break of all the nervous energy of a good portion of the new students and with all of them in the auditorium it gave him time to deal with his stomach which had reminded him of the banquet. It didn't take particularly long for him to get into the cafeteria and getting himself something to eat took less, though he avoided the chicken like the plague, but once he was satisfied with his plate he really didn't feel like sitting down for a bit so he walked around giving a wave or nod to whoever noticed him.

Morrison had his fill after a little while and decided to see who was at some of the tables or what was going on at different ones because the first day was always full of interesting conversations and/or interactions between the new students and older ones. It took sometime but he recognized a couple voices from what appeared to be a rather crowded table with people coming and going, most seemed to be talking with each other and the few who weren't were most likely waiting out the others. He moved on after a bit of listening, he never once moved his eyes in anyone's direction out of silent courtesy, which he noticed another table with three girls two he recognized and one he didn't. What he did notice was just how calm and toned down the new girl was which rung oddly with him but he decided not to think too much about it though the mention of a prank, sometimes he was glad his hearing was so sharp, made him chuckle quietly.

Morrison moved over a few feet upon hearing the rather familiar voice of the large gator man, whom he had met a few times and liked to call Swamp-Thing as a good natured jest, with a couple others he knew and once again a new student had started chatting them up, or most of them probably he wasn't there long enough to know. He decided to discard his plate which had been empty for a little while as he took in some of the nearby conversations realizing if anyone had been looking it would be pretty obvious he was just hanging around. It wasn't a huge deal if someone did notice him because anyone who knew him wouldn't be surprised by his listening. Likely he would come back to see if someone called him over, he rather preferred not to interrupt an ongoing conversation but he was patient enough to wait for the moment.
I'll have a post up shortly, got a little busy.
Its fine. The more balance to it the better, which is why I didn't give Morrison control over it.
I'd say until he got control of it by touch seems about right.
Since its under cerebral I'm think it tricks the body into thinking its exausted or that melatonin got released. Normally how the power works it would be gradual, takes less energy and he would have to draw it out, but since he isn't entirely in control he might end up overdoing the impulse and could cause someone to drop pretty quick.
I'll see what I can do about the hider. But I'm glad everything checked out. :D
Got the description in. Ready for more changes while I read any posts I missed.
No problem. Let me know if you see anything else you want changed.
Name: Morrison Chevraux.
Nickname/Alias/Etc: Dreamer.
Gender: Male.
Age: 19.
Height: 6'3".
Weight: 170lbs.
Status: Returning.

Appearance

Hair Color: Dark Brown.

Eye Color: Milky Gray.

Ethnicity: Caucasian/Cajun.

Physical Appearance:
Morrison looks as laid back and content as he acts. He has a well toned body with broad shoulders and more weight to him than someone would expect looking at him. He takes care of himself as best he can keeping his short, thick hair and usually tanned skin clean while not making a huge deal of it. As far as looks he is handsome enough with mostly even features all around, he has a small birth mark on the right side of his neck, with a bright smile that he keeps for his fellow academy attendents and old aquaintences/friends. He has some old scars that are located sparingly on his arms and legs, the normal wear and tear plus a little extra for his occasional clumsiness. His eyes are by far the most off putting thing about his appearance looking dead and emotionless while also not always facing the person he is talking to either, though he does it because having to look into them upsets some. He doesn't look all that intimidating if it came down to it but this fits his intention to just be someone to like while hiding the fact he could defend himself if necessary.

Attire: He usually wears a either a short sleeve shirt or tanktop with jeans most of the time because of comfort in heat and humidity, perfect for home and the academy.

Outward & Innate Personality: Morrison is laid back and has a casual air about him. He is an overall likeable guy who gives few people a reason to dislike him preferring to keep everything simple for both parties. He dislikes fighting in general preferring to work around it or if necessary ending it as quickly as possible. Away from others he tends to be quiet often absorbed in thought or doing one of his couple hobbies. He occasionally laps the campus or beach, two areas he knows well enough to run or walk around, when he has absolutely nothing else to do.

Hobbies/Interests: Reading, Guitar(electric preference), Having a decent conversation, and listening to everything around him.

Skills/Talents: He is capable of doing what most people with eyesight can, sometimes better than them. He has gotten good with playing guitar over time. His lack of vision leads him to rely more on his other senses which are more acute than the average non-enhanced student, and his comfort with working in them allows him to get around easier than one might think of him.

Prized Possession: A small, simple brass pendant that he rarely goes without, he says nothing of it despite this.

Quote(s): "I'm sorry for laughing but I saw that coming a mile away."

History/Bio: The only Morrison has said about his past is that he was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana with his parents and that he was born completely blind, he stonewalls most attempts to get him to talk about his past in more detail and when he doesn't its nothing important he talks about.

Family: His parents, though he doesn't talk much about them.

Relationships

Relationships:
Ethan Parker Jr. | Good | Friend |
"He's awkward for sure but manages to be a good guy despite it, though sometimes he needs a hand which I'm more than willing to lend."

Abilities

Power Class: Cerebral 3.

Power: Dream Manipulation- Morrison Is capable of manipulating, shaping, becoming a part of the dream/nightmare, and outright control of dreams and nightmares through his training.

Sleep Inducement- Morrison recently developed the ability to either gradually or instantly cause someone to fall asleep.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Morrison has many self imposed limits to his first power not wanting to misuse it or invade privacy like giving a warning jolt to those he wants to know his presence, beyond this he can be pushed out of someone's mind with enough willpower and focus which is harder when asleep but still possible. As far as his second ability, he is still trying to figure it out with it being so new to him but he has a feeling its going to be very trial and error. He has to be in contact with someone to do the first delve into the mind but once that initial connection is made he can go back if he wants to from pretty much anywhere but it takes more effort the farther away he is and because of it he doesn't do much long range dream walking.

Other: Morrison has, ironically, become something of an insomniac off and on since his new power sprouted up.
