I think I'd like to join up here, already have a character in mind so I'll have the sheet up shortly.
I'll see what I can do about moving along tomorrow.
Morrison couldn't say he disagreed with Shannon or Jack, who he greeted silently, on one of the school's most disliked resident, though he manages to tolerate the bully to some extent being himself. He still disliked Jean but they were at a standstill of sorts which had gone on for several years now, Morrison wasn't willing to fight him and Jean didn't want to have hellish nights or exhaustion filled mornings so it kept them away from one another. Despite this it was hard not to laugh when the bully got taken down a peg or two especially when he knew it was coming. But he had been hearing about Jean being much more aggressive lately which was not something he liked hearing with all of the newer students around who the man could mess with.

"Suppose I'll be here if things go wrong and knowing Jean they will." The Cajun said sounding more tired with the large Frenchie than usual. "Try not to enrage him like last time Shannon, the janitors had a lot of cleaning to do after that."

Morrison was expecting the worst from a prank on Jean and his concerns were usually warranted, especially considering who he was with, but if it happened he was often willing to get in the way which left it up to the Frenchie if it was worth the effort or consequences of going through him. Either way he was enough of a nuisance and a threat to keep things from escalating all of the time. One big thing he was not determined to rely on was putting Jean out with his newer power simply because it could cause more problems than it solved in the first place. Really it all came down to Shannon and Jack with whatever decision the two of them decided to make but Morrison would be on standby once again to stop a brawl in the cafeteria.
Certainly something interesting to come back to but I like it.
Morrison had made fair headway into the large platter in front of him during the short amount of time he had been eating. Though if there was one thing he would always notice is when there was someone walking around nearby him or at least the table he was sitting at. He listened to Shannon give her introduction while he finished chewing on what food he was working on and trying to think where he had met her before or in what class. It took a couple of seconds to remember, usually did for him, but he recalled a few quirks but never had any problems from what he could remember with the girl.

"Yeah that's me. I don't remember the class but its good to see you again Shannon, was your summer good?" The Cajun said casually covering up his less than stellar mood for the moment.
Got a post coming up as well.
Morrison was laying awake recalling yesterday on the ride over, hearing some interesting snippets, and even seeing Ethan and eventually his roommate Felix who seemed alright from first glance and gave a nod in his direction, and finally getting to his room where he set everything up to his liking. Of course the strange thing about the whole situation was that the Cajun, a master over the unconscious mind, couldn't get to sleep the entire night and he was not happy about it whatsoever. There were very few things that he hated but sleep troubles were high on the list simply because they left him feeling drained for a good portion of the day plus perfect focus isn't going to happen when your only partially awake. When the siren went off he felt a bit more awake than he did while just lying around until morning came prompting him to look over at his unconscious roommate who he hadn't noticed the night before and was likely not going to be up for a little bit longer if the siren hadn't made him budge. As for the siren he had been around long enough to know how loud it was so he had come up with a simple solution and, while it never blocked all of the sound, his ear plugs cut it down to a more manageable level.

Morrison got himself up after a few more minutes of lazing around and went straight to the shower with no delays. It was equal parts cleaning up from yesterday and clearing the fog out of his mind which made him feel a hell of a lot better than the entirety of the night. He got out of the shower and got himself dressed in a gray tank top with a pair of blue jeans mostly ready to get on with the day despite the unwelcome start. Then it hit him to tune his guitar for later which he did in record time before heading out to eat something because he was starving this morning, another unusual for him.

The Cajun quickly made his way over to the cafeteria to fill up for the rest of the day which he had his concerns about, mostly throughout the day than at the end of the day, but the only thing on his mind was quieting his stomach. He had quite a bit of food on his plate(sausage, eggs, toast, bacon, etc.) by the time he finally got away from the buffet which left him one thing unanswered and that was where he was going to sit this morning because he sure as hell wasn't standing around in his condition. He went and sat at a table a bit off from the other lone resident who was eating like his stomach felt then began to pack his plate of food in determined to get rid of his appetite. The food was what matter at that very moment but he wasn't exactly hard to notice but he hadn't paid much attention to the other person at the table, but he would get to that in a minute or when the other student noticed him.
Well a few pages of reading what I get for being sick. I'll get into gear to catch up with the rp.
Morrison, as per usual, had been paying attention to most of the students moving about the lobby and he always found some interesting conversation to listen to even if he only caught some of it as the speakers moved about. It had taken a moment to notice some rather familiar footsteps among the others which stayed just out of reach. There were only a couple people he knew to do such a thing even with him being as welcoming as he was but Ethan's footstep's were unmistakable and once he recognized his presence he couldn't help but give a smile. When the nervy guy managed to make his way over the Cajun almost felt a bit bad at how his awkwardness seemed to make him doubt himself.

"Ethan! I thought you were somewhere around here, Mon ami." Morrison said with genuine warmth, his Cajun/Louisianan accent heavy as ever, hoping to take the edge off of Ethan's nerves even for just a moment. "As for Summer its been good overall, very hard to complain with a vacation to go back home for awhile. Enough with my same old vacation though, anything going on with yourself lately?"

The Cajun was always more interested in what was going on with acquaintances and friends then he was in his own side of things, but to those who knew him it was nothing new. That and he had something of a vested interest in boosting Ethan's confidence bit by bit when he could because sometimes the guy needed it once in awhile. Something that surprised Morrison was the lack of his friend's near constant companion but he could imagine there might be reasons for it, it was a busy day after all. This was a good start to the day beyond getting to the island and eating he got to meet up with an old buddy who looked like he wanted the company as much as Morrison was wanting to talk.
Morrison blinked a few times realizing he had spaced out for a little while standing in the middle of the cafeteria. That was a bit awkward, oh well. He noticed there was less general noise and figured some of the other returning students had already moved on to the admin building for room assignments. It occurred to him that it might be a good idea to move on and see who he was going to get paired with if anyone at all, either way was fine with him. The rooming was always interesting to say the least because there were generally quite a few conflicts between roommates right off the bat or at least a few with most of them. Trying to sleep with them having at it a couple of rooms over was a pain but most of the others tended to quiet down after a week or two, but he would just have to see this year.

He made his way over towards the admin building to get his information and figure the rest of the arrangements out. If anything the school was usually good about putting people together though there had been flops in the past including one with him, he guessed the person just had a problem with him for reasons unknown. It had been awhile since then and several better roommates made up for it over time which made him feel pretty good about how they evaluated the reactions. There were a few students ahead of him when he got to the admin building's door which he had to wait for before heading in himself.

Morrison got up to the desk and without more than some small talk was handed his room key as well as the name card for his roommate, which was in braille to simplify things for him, which caused his smile to dim slightly simply out of reputation but he wasn't one to judge someone he never actually talked to. The lapse of his smiled ended about a second later and he moved off so other people could get they're info without him standing in the way. He moved off and almost immediately started hearing the other students in the lobby either complaining or happily chatting about the boarding situation. It took him a moment to decide but he wanted to wait there for a few and maybe catch up with some other return students, maybe hear who they ended up with if it was good or bad. Though he was open if anyone started talking to him new or not it didn't entirely matter to the Cajun.
