Not really. Unless you have a plot idea or such, it won't be possible. The rules say you need at least one genin character. After that, we can plot a rogue ninja, but we kind of avoid that due it gives rise to chaos. And not the fun kind.

On the way...
The slim and rather pale looking young man walked towards the headquarters of the Intelligence Division. He was dressed as a regular shinobi of the Leaf, but there was something off. Like something was missing. Heading into the building, the man politely asked where he was needed to go as he had an appointment. Being told that he had to go to the right, the man smiled and thanked the one who had shown the directions. I wonder how the others are doing. Ryo thought to himself as he kept the Transformation technique active. He didn't feel that this was going to please him. Kensuke, what would he do? Shrug and continue? Would he mourn him? What would he do? Ryo felt a bit lost that he couldn't anticipate what Kensuke would do. Meant that something? Did he really knew his friend as he claimed he did? Had the troubles, adventures, missions and training been for nothing? Just a way to pass time?
Ryo clenched his fists as he gritted his teeth. No. He had learned better. He would endure this. Walking to the end of this and then he would make sure that somehow, in a way possible, that Kensuke would be happy. Even...
Even if he couldn't be there.
However, there was something else that troubled him. Another person that kept troubling him at the back of his mind. One that caused him almost to cry when he really thought about what kind of damage would be created.
It was so annoying. The animal managed to get in Kumogakure, but it was a whole way up north. Finally, he had managed to get there. The place he had brought the messages before. Not sure what his master was up to, the racoon looked a bit disappointed. He didn't like the Cloud. Why would his master have somebody important here? To the racoon it made no sense. Less when he had to bring the messages, but this would be the last one. He had promised it. Master never broke his promises. The racoon held the folded paper close to him as he sneaked through the alleys. Not that he was afraid that he would get in trouble. Maybe a cat that was bold enough to try to catch him? The last one who did had got a stomp to the face. Master would be disappointed if he wouldn't be able to defend himself.
Arriving at the front door of the address, the racoon laid down the paper. Then the creature tried to shove it underneath the door. After he was sure it was done, the animal ran away. His task was done.
Behind the letter was some odd marking. A summoning marking.
Konohagakure Jounin | Team 9
Hiron noticed that Masami got it that they had only a limit amount of time. Shoving his hands into the pockets of his pants, Hiron already turned around. He would come back over some time to check if they had managed to get some success. Else he would have something else in mind for them to do. It would be problematic if Team 9 couldn't head out on any missions due the teamwork not being high enough. It was the vital part that kept a team functioning. Without it, it would be a loose and chaotic gathering of some inexperienced ninja running around. A simple target for a team that did know how to co-operate together.
Walking away, Hiron decided to grab a drink nearby. Maybe some riceballs? That seemed like a plan. On his way, he cast a glance towards the Hokage Monument. While he kept on walking, Hiron thought about the future. Some things seemed so certain, but a few of them scared him a bit. Not that he was worried about himself, but more or less others. Some questions started to trouble him a bit, but he could already hear (and feel somewhat) Keiko starting an argument. Probably that he was pondering too much about the future, worrying himself sick, while it was the present he would need to focus on. Entering a place, Hiron thought amused about the present. Though he would discipline his team for any mistake, he couldn't help it. It was good to see the three of his students starting to show some progress at teamwork, realizing that they would have to be serious about it. Nearing the counter, Hiron was asked what he wanted to order. He thought, about the present. ''I want twelve riceballs. To take away.'' A smile came on his face. Maybe thinking a little bit ahead won't hurt this time?
Attacking the gathering of those inferior monkeys!
Grunting, the beast was pushed back. A little bit. The strong water dragon technique of Ryoku had landed a hit, but the resilient beast wouldn't be just stopped like that the. The tidal wave that had been created by a mere roar was just the tip of the iceberg of what the behemoth could do! And he would make sure those inferior monkeys would get it that they weren't any match for him. With only his left hand and arm, the beast swept the dragon away. While he had fended off the attack, the beast had focused another blub of chakra inside his mouth. [i]Take this, damn monkeys!
Spitting out a huge wave of lava in front of him, the water of the lake would create a huge and warm steam cloud that would quickly be formed. The last that could be seen from the beast's head was that there was a wicked smirk on his lips. Next to the killing intent that started to skyrocket. While some of his previous had managed to escape Ryoku's counter and started some panic, the incoming wave of killing intent would shock most people. It wasn't just a jounin leveled killing intent, but something that seem to suffocate people, slowly tearing apart their will to fight and cause some of the people to flee. Those monkeys, thinking some fast deployed defence would work against him. Like this lake, it wasn't in his disadvantage. No, the all knowing master of apes would show these humans a lesson. One they would long remember. If they would survive, that is!
The answer for your first question is that we have a lot of genins still at this point. New characters, both made by new and old players, are kept made. So you don't have to worry about that. That and I can read as understand what you meant, so I doubt you don't have the skill. Besides, you can learn it while being part of the RP. So fear not, you may claim a place among our ranks. :)

Good question! This is the interest check for the success Naruto RP on the old RPG, New Generations. It had taken some time, but we came back. And the RP is again flourishing. But that doesn't mean that others can not join it. :)
What can I expect from it then?
What is there to expect? If you're familiar with Naruto, then you likely have a good idea what it entitles. But the RP is even open for those who are new to the setting and universe. After all, it's an Alternate Universe, with it's own detailed background and history. But don't despair or give up yet! Whether you're new to Rp'ing, new to the setting or what so ever, you can expect a GM team and players ready to guide you on your way. After all, we are focused on helping each other so that we all can have some fun. Together.
That sounds great, but when will it start then?
It has already start. Since a few weeks, the RP has became 2 years old and we are still growing in post counts, lore and characters. But that doesn't mean you can't jump into it! We always made it our priority that someone new can jump into the story, without needing to worry that they will be useless as everybody has their use.
Okay, but is there a way I can ask things? For like, if I already have some work, can I show it already?
Of course you can! You can always pm me and show, ask and request certain things. I do need to add that I can't of course promise a yes, but i can promise that we can try to work some things out. After all, one of the goals the GM team has is that we try to make it fun for everybody. But also to keep the game balanced. ;)
After all, we do need to keep an eye on that as well.
Are there any requirements?
Psh, no not really. Are you active? Want to be in a fun group and RP with some very friendly people? Then you're qualified! We aren't that picky and often give people a chance to join. Not to prove themselves, as we often give positions like Jounin to people that have shown they want to work for it (staying active and trying to be a member of the group). Is English not your first language? Who bothers? It's not my first language as well, but I suspect that many can read it. Or at least hope they do.... Will- Oh rats. I am rambling!
But hope you will decide to join and give it a try. What do you have to lose? Nothing at all? Thought so. ;)
