Ryland kissed Aura back, smiling. "Alright you two, out. Baby needs sleep," Avera said, gently shooing them away from the cradle.
"Sorry, I've been thinking. The possibility of having children of our own just hit me. And he'll be the cutest thing ever until we have kids, right?" He asked.
"Well, I can tell you this, it's torture waiting to finally see your little one. But it's well worth it," Avera said, smiling down at Auryn.

Avera laid him down in the cradle, removing the towel and covering him in a light blanket.
"He is, hoping to have your own soon?" Avera asked softly.

Avera hummed softly and walked out of the bathroom, rubbing Auryn to get him dry before laying him down.
Avera nodded and finished, picking Auryn up and wrapping him in a dry towel. "Bed time for the little one."
"Now that, is probably due to magic. All of my brothers are an unusual color," Avera said. "Who's a happy baby?" Avera asked Auryn, starting to rinse him off.
"In a few days, I want to make sure Auryn's alright before we introduce him to new people." Avera took the soap and started washing Auryn.
"Mhm. Human males don't grow as fast," Avera said, settling Auryn in the water after making sure it wasn't too hot. "Can you hand me that bar of soap my mother gave us when we visited her last?"
