Fiera lightly knocked on River's door before entering and seeing River dead asleep. She sighed and turned her comm on. "River's out of commission for the next 24 hours," She said, walking out and closing the door behind her.

That's not true my friend, we could always use aliens and things that go bump in the night on the planets, right?
"And I'm sure I can calm Niobe down if she spooks. You just need to be ready to get out of the way if I say," Avera said to Caex.
"That's good. So I guess we'll visit my parent's home tomorrow then," She said, going over and tickling Auryn under his chin.
Avera nodded again and smiled to Auryn. "How's he been?"
Avera nodded. "Adykon said that Niobe was the biggest and she's a good, solid mare. Oh, when's her breeding season start?" Avera asked, turning to Adykon.
Avera took Niobe's lead and looked to the house. "I didn't know hatchlings could try eating solid food a few days after hatching," She said.
"I see, I'll be sure to take good are of her Adykon. And Steele is a very sweet stallion, I'm sure they'll get along fine," Avera said.
"Yeah, Auryn is pretty big but that doesn't matter because he's healthy... and heavy. Very heavy," Avera said, going to Niobe and running her hands along the mare's legs to check for any injuries or abnormalities and then patted her shoulder. "She's nice and strong, and which would you prefer in return; a colt or a filly?"
"Steele's about 19 hands. They would be a little smaller but it would work, I'd just need to keep an eye on the mare when she has foals," Avera said.
