Fiera slowly walked up and picked up the pack Ziza was in, and ran out behind Tala. River sighed and rubbed his temples, following at a slower pace.
Ziza laid her ears back at the tone of Tala's voice, lightly tapping her hand. River turned and fixed a glare on her. "Not everyone has to be a ray of sunshine Shakuntala. This is how I am, take it or leave it."
"Since when? I've been nothing but straight forward," River said, narrowing his eyes.
"Mr.Steady? What hell is that supposed to mean?" River asked.
"It's just another moody female. Maybe she'll find a boyfriend while we're out," He said, starting for the airlocks.
"Rory warned me about that," He said, regarding Ziza calmly.
River walked back with his pack and looked to see Ziza in the extra pack. "Ah, so you're our new mascot," He said, kneeling down to look at the creature. Ziza's fur bristled and she growled, huddling her babies close.
"We need to wait for River and Targen," Fiera said, just as River walked up.
Fiera sighed and went to go and pack another bag for Ziza.
Ziza squirmed and clawed into the backpack, chirping.
