Alyss looked through the pictures, frowning when she didn't see any for Kenna's birth until Kenna was a few months old. "Why don't we have any of Kenna's earlier pictures?" She asked, looking to Donovan.
Zahara nodded and opened it, handing the album over to Donovan so he could show Alyss the pictures.
"I figured you might think of that," Zahara said, pulling one of the large photo albums out of a backpack.
The twins snuggled up and each one rest their head on one of Alyss's shoulders before falling fast asleep. "They haven't been able to sleep well since you've been here," Zahara said, letting Kenna sit at the foot of the bed. Alyss hugged both girls close, tears forming in her eyes. Why couldn't she remember this and who was the bastard that stole it from her?
Danae grimaced. "No, I was awful at projections," She said.
"Alright munchkin, let your sisters be with mommy for a little bit," Zahara said, helping Kenna down.
Kenna hugged Alyss tightly and sniffled. "I missed you mommy," She said. Alyss hesitated but hugged the girl back, still not sure what to make of this.
"Go ahead, I don't mind, I teach my eldest grandchild here anyways."
Zahara got there and led the group of kids up, Kenna and the twins running and clambering onto the bed. "Mommy!" They exclaimed, hugging her. Alyss froze with a look of panic, not sure what to do.
"I was born with magical abilities as well, but I was sent to live with a sorceress and train under her," Danae said. "So many spells gone awry..."
