"You push the poles through these slots and then hook this little metal part into the ends." Fiera showed him how to do the first one then let him try on his own.

"Why don't you come and help me so I can show you how to pitch the next one?" Fi asked.

Will gathered a bundle of logs and nodded. "Lead the way."

Fiera set her bag and Ziza's pack down by a rock and stretched, starting to pitch one of the tents.

River went with Tala, grabbing some bigger pieces of wood.

Fiera nodded and shifted Ziza's pack. "You're welcome."

"Mhm," River said.

"Couldn't make a small enough power source to keep it powered, so yeah, I have to continually power it," Fiera said.

"That's good, the absolute quiet was unnerving," River said.

"It depends on what I'm powering and whether I made a machine a power source of its own. Right now, your translator's the only thing I've been powering so I don't feel much drain," Fiera said. "But if I were powering about... 15 of our ship then I'd be overloaded."

"If you say so," River said, handing her a bag for the mushrooms.

"Yep, I'm pretty much a living battery to machines," Fiera said.

"It is not the first time," River said.

"Well, at least I'm not a tree," River said with a chuckle.

"Spare parts, new gadgets, stuff like that," Fi said then held her hand up, sparks dancing along her fingers. "I give it power."

"My pack is full of it and anything with a technological pulse, I can sense and manipulate," Fiera said.

"That's the idea, but you're welcome to spar with me if you'd like as well," River said.
