"Oh thank the ancestors!" Gilrumm says as he slowly catches up to his friends. "I'm exhausted! I was sure how much... longer I could have gone on. Does anyone... have any water?" He asks through his heavy breaths. He drops to his knees. Tired and out of breath.

"Way ahead of you!" Says Gilrumm as he makes a dash for the door. "Come on Hagrad! It's time to go!" It was quite a sight really, watching this 3'1'' gnome carry a chair slightly taller than him. He seemed to run at light speeds, but it was really because his legs are shorter, and thus moving more to cover the same ground. "Hurry Beaurmont! If you do not escape now, you may never. Come with us!" Shouted the gnome through his panting.

"You can do it!" Gilrumm yells from behind the bar counter. "I have the utmost faith in you Beaurmont!" For some reason the gnome seems rather fond of Beaurmont. It is said that gnomes have a good sense of people's souls.

Gilrumm gets ready, and casts a bolt of dark energy toward the horde of goblins. When it makes contact with one of them, there is a slight sizzling sound, as the bolt dissipates. The goblin remains unharmed. "Oh darn it! I knew I was no good in a fight." Gilrumm shouts. "I should probably hide for now. My magic is no good yet."

"Don't worry god sir! I'll help as best I can. I don't have much power, but I can fight for a while!" Yells Gilrumm. He seems nervous, but is getting more confident in his ability to help.

"M.. m.. m.. Monsters?" Gilrumm exclaims, seeming scared. "I'm terrified of monsters!" Grabbing his walking stick, Gilrumm starts moving toward the bar counter.

"Hagard, huh? Well it's quite the pleasure, indeed." The gnome says excitedly. "Um... Good sir Beaurmont... Would you be willing to accompany back to my home. You and I together might be able to cure this poor soul." Gilrumm asks sheepishly.

"Of course I can cure you! I just need my book." Gilrumm thinks a moment. "Blast it. The last time I saw that book it was in grandfather's attic. I'd have to go get it!"
