STRAY DOGS OF NORTHERNDALE

If you have read the interest check, you'll understand what this is about. You can find the interest check here: roleplayerguild.com/topics/173712-str…

Basically, what the roleplay is about, is there are 2 dog "races" called the Collared(domesticated), and the Wild(stray). They are in somewhat of a small feud with each other. There are 4 packs called the Slashers, Gunners, Silverfangs, and Mountaineers. You can create a character, up to 10 characters, and live your story. There's a player-driven plot, and no posting order, but I must ask you at least use good grammar, posts that are not short, and maybe some detailed writing. Below is the character application. If you have read the interest check, the main information about the roleplay is there.

Copy the application(not the example), and paste it into the text box for replying. Fill in the application with your character's information and post it in the OOC tab. I will review it and let you know if your application has been accepted. Instead of posting allegiances for each pack, I'll make a list. You can view it it here, and in the Characters tab.

Hello y'all! I decided to make a game here. All you do is type the username of the person who posted above you...backwards! For example, a person would try to type my username backwards. Whoever types my name backwards or tries to, the next person has to try and type their name backwards! No chatting so that way the game is broken, but you can say something like "Welp, I tried" or "I was so close!".
STRAY DOGS OF NORTHERNDALE

In a fictional place similar to New York City called Northerndale live humans, dogs, cats, and many other animals, like foxes, raccoons, and rats. However, you have a particular story. You can choose to create a dog character, Collared(domesticated)...or Wild(stray). If you choose to be a Collared, you may find yourself living an easier life in busy Northerndale. If you choose to be a Wild, you may have some trouble fending for yourself. In Northerndale, 4 former Collared dogs named Karma, Delta, Brute, and Banner have decided to make their own packs. Karma, a Cane Corso, leads a pack consisting of former fighting dogs called the Slashers, Delta, a Belgian Malinois, leads a pack mainly full of former military dogs called the Gunners, Brute, a Dobermann, leads the ever so vicious Silverfangs, and Banner, a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, leads the ever so kind forest-dwelling Mountaineers.

THE STORY

In Northerndale, 5 years ago, dogs named Karma, Delta, Brute, and Banner escaped from their former lives and decided to create a pack that they felt they needed to make, to encourage Collareds or Wilds to live a better life. These packs ended up forming a feud between the Collareds and the Wilds. The Wilds envied the Collareds due to their pampered and spoiled lifestyle, and often refused to let them join their packs. However, some Collareds can prove a difference. Now, you can create your own dog, Collared or Wild, and find yourself fending for YOUR life here.

THE LOCATIONS

In Northerndale, there are 7 main locations. These are called The Slums, The City, The Park, The Forest, The Alley, The Meadow, and the Neighborhood. Here, you'll find some different places. The Neighborhood seems to be the "main location" for Collared dogs, while everywhere else seems to belong to the Wilds.

THE PLACES

In the main locations, there are different places. Below, you can find a list for them.

The Slums: Blood Village(A disgusting and nasty slummy area with trash, very few humans, and a reddish appearance, home to the Slashers.)
The City: Hawthorne Street(A nice-looking street with many buildings, cars, and humans. To one side, you can find antique shops, and to the other side, apartments and some shops, pizzerias, and buildings.), The Pound(A nasty-looking pound for dogs. Usually Wilds can sometimes end up being unlucky and find themselves caught by the ominous Dog Catcher. It has a beige wall, grey floor, and each side, left to right, is lined up with cages full of dogs. In a storage room full of clutter and other things the employees of The Pound don't go in resides the Gunners, who used to live here after being caught.), Killarney Road(A cool-looking restaurant that humans like to dine at. Seems to be Irish themed. Some Wilds can manage to maybe steal a snack or earn some human attention here.), Abandoned Building(A haunting, tall, abandoned place. Possibly the remnants of a mall. Not much here, and it's pretty scary. Empty completely except for one room upstairs, which looks like a hotel room.)
The Park: Olde Fountain(This beautiful fountain lies in the middle of The Park, full of humans and wildlife, and foliage. It's considered the symbol of The Park, and is rumored to have been built 10 years ago. Some dogs like playing around here.)
The Forest: Creek Run Woods(A very nice woodland. Full of wildlife, trees, and foliage. Humans like to explore here. You'd be amazed at how pretty it is. Mainly cedar trees populate Creek Run Woods.), Sunglaze Clearing(An open clearing not too far away from Creek Run Woods. This place is surrounded by trees, and in the middle is full of grass and flowers. During the morning, it looks beautiful and lively as the sun shines upon it.), Dackeri Mountains(A beautiful and interesting place called Dackeri Mountains is located here. To be able to see the mountains, you must head to this open meadow, and if you look ahead, you'll see the mountains. The Mountaineers live here in a cave in the mountains.
The Alley: The Labyrinth(A very interesting looking alley. It's like a labyrinth, but mainly looks like an alley. There's some shops, apartments, and also a courtyard. On one side lies an abandoned apartment with some moss having grown on it. It's the home of the Silverfangs.), Dark Alley(There's also a place called the Dark Alley here in The Alley. It's dark, and has some streets and places, not many though. It's kind of abandoned, and feared by many.)
The Meadow: The Meadow(The Meadow is an open meadow full of flowers and more. Often dogs and other animals like to play here. You can find a lake too that is usually swarming with ducks.)
The Neighborhood: Human Dens(The main part of The Neighborhood are the Human Dens, also known as houses in human language. You can find many houses of different colors, and streets. Collareds usually live here.)

RULES
1. Respect all members no matter what.
2. No powerplaying, metagaming, or godmodding at all.
3. Only realistic dog breeds and colors, no neon dogs or fake dog breeds!
4. Do not have your character do any "rituals" or whatever. This is semi-realistic, so dogs can't do any rituals(ex. witchcraft).

6. No graphic depictions of mating or birth.
7. Your character cannot be a pup if they have dead parents, or are alone. Stray pups cannot survive alone. You can make a Collared that is a pup though.
8. Minimum age for you to make a Collared character is 2 months. That means you can make a Collared character who is at least 2 months, or up. Maximum age for a Collared is 13 years.
9. Minimum age to make a Wild character is 1 year. See rule 8 for more information. Maximum age for a Wild character is 16 years.
10. You can make up to only 10 characters. Afterwards, no more.
11. No excessive swearing or inappropriate words in a character's dialogue.
12. If you have a problem, contact me, do not cause drama.

PACK RANKS

Alpha: The Alpha is the lead rank of a pack. They can be male or female. They are the head honcho and their word is the pack word. They can be usurped by the Beta if they die, retire, or are chased out.
Beta: The Beta is the second-in-command. They should always be there for their Alpha, and can succeed their Alpha. They take over when the Alpha is busy or sick.
Healer: The Healer is considered a special rank. They use herbs to heal their packmates and their job is important. A Healer cannot take on a mate or have offspring, as they can be considered a distraction.
Lieutenant: A Lieutenant is the leader of each job. They organize meetings for their certain job, and patrols. They should be respected greatly and can become a Beta. Usually if someone becomes a Lieutenant, they have proved themselves greatly.
Retiree: A Retiree is a dog who is old, or disabled and have decided to retire. They do not need to work and should be respected, and they can tell stories to Youth dogs. A dog must be at least 5 years old to retire if they have no disability, and a dog who has a disability that prevents them from serving their packmates should be at least 1 year to retire.
Youth: Youth dogs are dogs at least 1 week up to 10 months. They usually are known to eat after the Alpha and Beta, and are to be respected. They can choose a job to take on once they reach 10 months.
Mother: A Mother is a rank for females only. They are dogs nursing Youth, or are females looking after Youth.

JOBS

Hunter: Hunters are known to supply their pack with food. They go hunt, and bring back food. Hunters are usually known to be any kind of hunting dog breed, or a dog belonging to a breed bred to hunt.
Scout: Scouts are known to patrol for their pack and guard the borders. They are responsible for their pack's safety, and are therefore considered important. They can also help find new potential homes for their pack.
Scavenger: Scavengers are dogs who look out for leftover food that can prove useful for their pack.
Adventurer: Adventurers are known to go on adventures to find things for their pack, like little trinkets, and also toys for Youth.
Assassin: Assassins are a kind of job for the Slashers and Silverfangs only. They are sent to go kill certain dogs considered enemies of their pack, like trespassers.

The application form will be on the official roleplay thread for the roleplay.
Hello guys! I'm a new person and recently joined the Guild. I'm excited to roleplay here and I'll say some things about myself. First of all, I'm a major fan of the Ginga series by Yoshihiro Takahashi, and I love servals, and dog anime. I also love warrior cats. I tend to do stray dog/wolf/Ginga/animal roleplays, and I love reading and writing books.

I can't wait to make friends here and roleplay with all of you!
