Belinda Naxxremis

Belinda had been a Succubus for at least 4 centuries. She mostly dwelled down in the Underworld among other Demons-being few of the rare and unique one's to walk the planet. She had been quite conceited and brutal-always craving more power and attention where she could gain it. A few years ago Belinda started an argument with a rival which caused her to end up banished. She found herself on earth, trapped in the bottom of a bottleneck dungeon. Once there, Belinda met an old man by the name of Sabincenttaurum (Sabin) Miquelle. Instead of killing him, she decided to keep the old man alive and soon befriended him. The next few years have taught her a lot about humanity, mortality and Belinda had grown a bit more tender, caring and soft. Sabin had been like a father figure to her, as Belinda never had one to look up to and learn from. When he passed away, she mourned his death. It was after his death, that she decided to stick to her human disguise so she could wonder around on earth after her release. She decided it was time to go and find his family so she could inform them of his death. And so her journey began to find them and to find a new path in life for herself.

The World of My Characters

Marianna

19 Years Old (Stopped aging)~ Human/Demon ~ Professional Dancer/ On the run from her father. ~Different possibilities for her, depending on what type of role-play she's involved in.
Parents: Melinda Sanders(Dead), Lucifer (Alive, escaped from hell)
Skills:
Skilled in combat, archery and sword handling.
Trained in horse riding.
Skilled to survive in the wilderness.

Abilities:
Shimmering-A form of demonic teleporting.
Telekinesis.
Energy and Fire balls.
Possession of other beings.
Turning her demonic energy, into pure energy which allows her to heal others.
Astral Projection (normally a witch power, but with her demonic side, she can create up to 3 versions of herself not just 1).
Projecting her thoughts outside of her head.
The ability to absorb life force from other supernaturals.
Witch spells/abilities through the use of witchcraft practice. (Both light and dark magic).
Turning her self into a fire tornado.
Shields that can protect or destroy objects or Allies/Enemies.
The ability to mind control other beings.

Personality: Marianna-Belle is a rather gentle and loving person. Unlike her father, she is good and no where near the definition of 'pure evil'. She's known to be devoted to those who she cares about, sometimes a little shy before she learns to trust someone fully. She only lies to protect those who she cares about, wanting to spare them the trouble of dealing with Lucifer and being put in danger. She is very independent and down-to-earth.
People sometimes think that because she's half Demon, that is not capable of feeling/that she has emotions. But they are wrong...Marianna can be quite sensitive when people strike the wrong chords.

Bio: Marianna is the daughter of Lucifer and the mortal Melinda Sanders, who died shortly after her birth. Supposedly she was born in the late 15th century-The Gods, Angels took pity on her and tried to protect her from her father's evil doings. As Marianna grew up, she slowly adjusted to the changing world around her, suppressing her evil powers, trying to use them for good only. She barely uses her powers, preferring to act as a human, rather than a Demon. Her demonic side, allowed her stop aging at the age of 19-making her somewhat Immortal.
Skipping to the modern day, Marianna works as a professional dancer at a dance club. Having been on the run from her father for many years now, she tries to keep her self safe and 'alive' as Lucifer is hunting her down. The reasons for Lucifer wanting her dead are not known. Despite the things she goes through, she tries to stay positive and go on with her life. She had stayed in touch with The Angels who have helping her through out the centuries, more so during the modern era as Lucifer has bee given her more trouble lately.

Sophia Hastings

Crafted with using swords-she can use two swords at the same time.
Gifted with using bow and arrow. Her skills vary depending on who she's up against.
Can make other weapons if she desires.
General knowledge about herbs/nature-helps perform healing magic.
Other practical skills such as weaving things from ropes and sticks.
Unarmed combat~ Master at martial arts.

Abilities:
Can perform powerful witch magic. (Including spells, powerful potions/tonics, mind control, Empathy: channeling, Energy Waves)
Telekinesis.
Levitation.
Control over the elements.
Shape shifting-can turn into anyone, anything or posses abilities of other beings if she wishes.
Increased strength/speed.
Self healing/healing of others.
Teleportation.

Limitations on Abilities:
Teleporting-Closer locations *up to 4 times a day*, longer locations *1 times a day*
Control of elements-Up to 10 times a day. Broken up into segments as follows;
Fusion ball of all 4 elements-only 1 spell a day.
Fusion of fire and water-only 3 spells a day.
Control over one single element at a time-up to 6 spells a day.
Shapeshifting-only 3 spells a day. First spell lasts 2 hours, second spell lasts 1 hour...third spell lasts 30 minutes.
Mind control- looking into the eyes of the person to be controlled for 20 seconds - a minute, she can only control one person at a time, people controlled are zombie like with no personality only obeying simple commands.
Healing-Can't bring back the dead. Needs special ingredients to cure poison, illnesses. Might get hurt when healing, can only heal humans. Up at 6 people a day. Doesn't have knowledge of healing other supernatural creatures. Internal energy is used...sometimes falls asleep.
Telekinesis-Normal variation of single blast of energy. Lifting up people, knocking them by few inches-meters with a single blast.
Energy waves-5 times stronger than normal variation. The more far away she is, the less potent the power. It can Knock a person through wall...could bend some objects, but they'd spring back into normal shape if she loses concentration. As her power can't make it stay bent. Her powers are also tied to her emotions...if she's angry/concentrates more the power/spells are more potent, than if she's weak, or lost concentration..

Personality: Sophia is known to be stubborn at times-if she wants something she will go for it, no matter what the cost. She has somewhat of a temper, after her father and grand-father. She has been known to act a little 'bitchy' at times. Sometimes showing her caring and compassionate side-only to those who are close to her, or that she trusts. Deep down, she has a good heart-it just takes a while for her to show it to people.She will speak her mind, no matter what the consequences/or what people think of her. Once she opens up to someone and trusts them-her heart is theirs for the keeping. She will love them, until they will shatter her heart into pieces and with that...her angry, vengeful and bitchy side will come out to play.
Yet Sophia's name holds true-she's full of wisdom, truth and solutions. Sometimes her methods may not be the most wise-deceptive to get her way to help protect those around her, but it gets the job done. She's smart enough and knows how to survive using her own initiative and skills that she had learned from a young age.

Bio: Myths and Legends about the powerful Olympians/Titans have shaped people's beliefs all over the world for centuries. But for Sophia...those tales of power, lust...greed, deception, violence and anger is a reality. Sophia's father is the son of Ares, whilst her mother comes from a lineage of powerful Witches-which makes the young teenager a grand-daughter to the vengeful Ares and the beautiful and elegant Aphrodite. Some have acknowledged Sophia's beauty as that of Aphrodite'.
Sophia along with her 4 older siblings were all born and raised on earth rather than inside the walls of Mount Olympus. Sophia being the youngest of the 5 was the most heavily watched and guarded by her over-protective father and even her two older brothers. This sometimes resulted with arguments between her and Iven, who she does not always see eye to eye with. Whilst she would go to comfort to her other siblings and parents.
Sophia along with her family always could be found on earth-blending into society as it grew and changed with each century. Moving from place to place...discovering the world's wonders and forever embodied in the 17 year old state, Sophia has seen discovered and learned many things over the years. She mostly enjoys the little things such as nature, the arts, music and dancing. She favors reading in her spare time and exploring the wilderness.

Special Markings

Sophia has two special markings. One is located on her right wrist The Triquatra is a symbol of her heritage, her power and the family line of powerful witches. It's only visible to those of the same kin as hers, and some supernatural creatures like Vampires, Dragons, Titans and Angels. It's mostly to tell an alliance between species, but it also warns others that their enemy is approaching. The mark glows silver-blue any time enemies are within reach. Sophia was born with this mark.
The Second one could be found on her lower back. It's a symbol of Sophia's elemental powers; her most lethal and dominant elemental gift.

Family

Lazander Senior and Rosaria are her parents. Lazander is the son of Ares and Aphrodite. Rosaria is a Witch.
Lazander Junior, Iven, Alana and Amaryliss are Sophia's older siblings. Sophia is rather close to most of her siblings, everyone apart from Iven. She and Iven are the most distanced; always argue, never see eye to eye. She doesn't come to him for support or advice, no one does.
Ares and Aphrodite are her grandparents. Sophia and Ares do not speak much, Aphrodite seems to support Sophia a little more. The other Titans/Olympians are part of Sophia's family too; but she finds most comfort and alliance with Athena, Aphrodite, Zeus, Artemis, Apollo, Janus and the daughter of Athena and Janus Via. They are the one's that she mostly comes to and they can work together.
It has been said that she is the favorite of Zeus, Athena mostly, whilst Janus and Via favor her too but maybe with more discretion.

Enemies

Witch Hunters: Witch Hunters are one of the few common enemies known to Sophia's kind. They were hunting her mother down centuries before she was born. Over the years, some have died out over many causes including natural death. But some have still bothered Sophia's family...and her. The young Warrior Princess has battled them once or twice, winning over them. Luckily for her, not many are after her now; but she still keeps a vigilant eye out for them to see if they will strike. They always change their tactics and attack patterns to surprise the one's their chasing after.
Some have been plain mortal, but some have gained the power of Immortality through means of persuasion and dark magic making them more dangerous.

Hades: He's been a common enemy to any kind. His wrath, anger and powers as well as his scheming is the mastermind behind many dangerous creatures that walk the earth. Some of those that attacked Sophia and her family. Sophia is very cautious when it comes to being around Hades. There have been times, that those two argued and even fought; Sophia always managed to escape punishments unlike her grand-father Ares in the fields of the underworld. She's not scared of the God...in fact it would seem it's the other way around. Hades tends to cower away from her, but then strikes when he thinks she's least prepared.

Possibly Ares: Her grand-father never really approved of the relationship that his son had with the Witch Rosaria. When his grand-children including Sophia were born, he rebelled. His anger and hatred distancing the children from him. Even though, he and Sophia do not speak or have fought as much there is tension in the air as if he's plotting something against her and her siblings. Lately, there are a few suspicions that he might be working with Hades.

Demi-Gods: Despite coming from the line of the Olympians, Sophia and some other Demi-Gods are enemies. Especially the children of Hades and Hermes. They are both as dangerous, manipulative and cruel like their fathers. They are then one's that typically lash out against Sophia and her older siblings; thinking their not worthy of their heritage due to their Witch bloodline. The wars and fights between them are inevitable and never ending. So far, the Gods have not stepped in and tried to stop the cousin/sibling fights between them. Their opposing personalities, also trigger hatred and judgement between them all. Especially against Sophia. Whilst the men, think she's not worthy of being a Warrior due to her age and being a female.


Hybrids: A common enemy of the Vampires, and pets to Hades. They follow every word that Hades says and want to end their enemies, bring them suffering and misery. One or two tried attacking Sophia and her family on several occasions, but to no avail. Sophia always had the backing of Vampires, Witches and the Titans to support her. They are more stronger than Vampires and can shift between forms when they desire, but Sophia seems to work around their weakness due to their master being the coward he is. Over the years, they tried different tactics; some worked better than others leaving Sophia with a few wounds and scars that healed over time. But they are still long standing enemies.

Alliances

The Titans: Some of the Titans have been supportive and on Sophia's side from an early age. Although it might have taken her a while to realize that not all were against her. She's known to be the favorite of Zeus and Athena especially. Whilst Janus, Apollo, Artemis and Aphrodite show a liking to the young Goddess, they do not favor her as openly as some others.
Zeus offers Sophia guidance, often supporting her against Hades and her Grand-father. Being the leader he sways away from punishing Sophia but lets her know if she's done wrong. He sends her on quests when he and the others want something dealt with. Offering a helping hand, if her other allies question his authority and word.

Artemis and Athena have been Sophia's trainers in all things related to war, tactics and using weaponry. They always offered her help and answered any of her questions and doubts before letting her venture out on her own to test her new skills that she learned over the course of her life. They are quite proud to have passed on their wisdom and knowledge down to Sophia. Whilst Athena favors Sophia, Artemis admires Sophia for her courage when it comes to dealing with threats on her own. But the two will come to her aid if needed.


Aphrodite being Sophia's grandmother is the more loving out of the two grand-parents. But that doesn't stop her from challenging Sophia and testing her beliefs and trust. She means no harm, it's a test to see what her grand-daughter is made off. She's mostly protective over Sophia, and wishes for her to be happy and loved. Sophia comes to her when she needs and they keep in touch more often than she and Ares do. Aphrodite keeps an eye on Sophia and comes to her aid when romance and the affairs of heart are concerned.

Apollo has taught Sophia everything she knows about common knowledge including herbs, diseases ect., the arts including music. The more her taught her and passed on his wisdom, the more she found they had in common including their love for Lute, Piano and Harps. Whilst Apollo prefers to watch Sophia work on her own and use her abilities to master victory for herself, he will help out on occasion where he can.

Janus is the one that tends to give Sophia a warning if something bad is about to happen. But sometimes even his gift of fore-sight cannot see anything. Lately he has to get help from the fates to determine what is going on. It's like something is blocking his vision from finding out the entire truth. He's always there when Sophia needs his word and advice.


Via: The daughter of Athena and Janus, is one of Sophia's favorites aunts and relatives. The two are on good terms and Via has been Sophia's helping hand in witch-craft magic helping her perfect some of her other abilities including healing. Sophia looks up to Via and they can be seen working together from time to time, or just chatting in the Gardens of Olympus. Other Times, Via tends to visit Sophia on earth when she free from her duties and other ties. Via is one of Sophia's most valuable allies and a dear friend.


Dragons: Despite Sophia's knowledge about Dragons, she never met one until recently. Zeus and the other Gods have asked her to seek out a Boltskull Ravanger Dragon by the name of Spyhrell Riftsweeper. The Gods believe that Sophia and the Dragon will make skilled, powerful and potent allies against a Demonic entity, which is hard to kill. It just seems to be coming back for more. It has been predicated by the Fates, that only those two together can find a way to end this Demon, but their challenges yet lie ahead of them. Out of her siblings, Sophia's probably the one with enough knowledge and skill to deal with Dragons, without causing a riot and breaking the alliance with misjudgments.



Witches: Due to Sophia's species. She has a natural bond and affiliation with her kind. If anyone is in danger, the others seek them out and offer their guidance and power to fight through the obstacles and dangers that may be in their way. If they are together as a group, they are much stronger and next to indestructible as a group when going up against their enemies.
Sophia also has a connection to the Phoenix (A group of Assassin Witches) through her aunt Ivetta, who is the half sister to her mother. Their relationship may not always be the best, but Ivetta and Sophia have been known to work together with other Witches to defeat danger in their path.


Vampires: They're not the most common allies of Sophia's. Some would consider them more of a frenemy then a proper alliance. In the past, they have been enemies due to the fact that Vampires are not fond of Witches, some of the Gods (Hades, Ares and Hermes) tried to kill of the Vampire Race viewing them as an abomination to the world. When Sophia met a few Vampires from a well known Coven; they assumed she wanted to kill them off and so their arguments and battles arose. However, they soon changed their mind once they got to known her after she rescued 4 of their kinds from a group of Hybrids that worked for Hades. Since then, her relationship with the Vampires has been a little bit strengthened and they help each other on occasions but there are arguments and battles between them every few years.

I am new at this site. A friend recommended I move here from another site, that we were part off. I've role-played for about 5-6 years now.
Sophia is one of my main OC characters that I created-she's mostly involved in Medieval/Fantasy role-plays. :) but I will also do any other characters depending on what type of role-play I'll be involved in.
