Piper is very relaxed dog, friendly and welcoming to both people and other animals. She prefers to be close to Emily, sitting on her lap or laying on her stomach when Emily is asleep or resting. She loves her daily walks and can get very playful.

Emily is a friendly and out going person; she is always trying to make new friends and make new students feel welcome at the Institute. She gives everyone a fair chance and she avoids having enemies, and arguments with people; she much rather prefer being on good terms and being friends than being upset/arguing about something...although it can't always be avoided.
She can be rather sensitive, and always tries to put other people before herself; she's very self-less and would do anything she could to make a person smile, or make them feel better. Her compassion and gentleness, have always been important as people know that they can rely on her and she can rely on others in return.

Emily is also rather smart and take pride and joy in most of her lessons, learning and school work/extra things. But just like any person, she is flawed and will make mistakes; if she can, she'll fix it and learn from it afterwards. There's not much that she doesn't enjoy; and if she does, it tends to show as she lacks behind and doesn't show much enthusiasm for it e.g. Apparition. Which doesn't always give her a good record in that subject.

Unfortunately, Emily's family is known to be Stubborn and that trait is one that Emily posses at times. This only shows, if and when she's in a confrontation, even though she tries to avoid those; she tries to stand up for what she believes is right/should be right/ what she and other deserves. She won't always admit that there might be another solution or answer.
It's rare to see her angry or annoyed; but when she gets in a moody strop, she will become defensive and does not like to hear otherwise. That tends to push her buttons a bit more. In the moment, Emily won't accept another answer/solution, once she calms down only will she then realize her mistake and see that not everything always goes her way.

Biography:(At least two paragraphs)

The Geralds family is English/American, but all have thick English Accents. Emily is the youngest daughter of Clark (43) and Mikeala Geralds (39), younger sister to Phillip (21) and Clarissa (19). Whilst her mother is a muggle, her father was a pure-blood wizard that graduated from Hogwarts, whilst her older siblings went to the Salem Institute, being housed in Warren Household, unlike Emily who is housed in Tituba. The Current Geralds family, is the fifth generation of Witches and Wizards; most of their predecessors coming from the houses of Tituba and Warren; with the occasional family member coming from Hogwarts (only on rare occasion has that happened).

Her early-child-hood has always been a happy one. She remembers going to trips and foreign places with her family, as her father works for the Ministry of Magic and her mother works for a Newspaper Company. She loves her family and is close to almost every one of her relatives; excluding her aunt Geraldina who comes from her mother's side. Her aunt had never really showed Emily any compassion, love and positive feelings whilst growing up and is overly strict and terrifying person in general. The few and far in between encounters with her aunt, had scared Emily so she does the best to avoid seeing her.

Emily knew about her heritage/family's magic since she was a little girl, along with her siblings. When she was 10 years old, she got her acceptance letter to the Salem Witches Institute. It was a rather proud and exiting moment as she was following in her family's footsteps. It didn't take long for Emily to settle in at the Tituba house and Institute, she still tries to discover the secrets and wonders off the school. She thinks of the Institute as her second home, and has enjoyed her time there and making new friends along the way.

On her 14th birthday, she received her dog Piper. Those two are rather inseparable, she adores her dog and wouldn't want anything bad to happen to Piper. When Emily is feeling low, Piper cheers her up instantly. Luckily enough, with Piper being a small dog, she takes her pretty much anywhere with her.
Over the years at the Institute, Emily has developed some new interests and keeping in tone with her old one's as she joined school clubs. She is a fan of Quidditch, whilst she doesn't play the sport itself, she is a supporter and watches every game that the school hosts in the playing field, as she supports her house and friends who play.

Divergent Inspired Roleplay

This rp is inspired by the Divergent series and takes place in the same world. Does not follow the film's plot-line, for the sake off this rp; characters can come and go into different factions-may resolve in some kind of fight/dispute until settled as to why they are there.

Plot-Line: Two best friends grew up in Erudite and it's getting close to their initial testing days/choosing ceremony; when Nina comes home from her test; she finds her world spiraling out of control; her home is trashed and her mother is killed. Together with her best friend, they set out together on a journey to discover secrets, as they try to uncover the mysteries killer that could be after Nina next. But not everything is as it seems, as their journey takes them to Dauntless; they will be tested, challenged and find out where they truly belong.

A few more things to mention: This role-play is character driven-the outcome of the quest/journey/character relationships/major plot-line ideas will be decided among us all. The brief plot-line is a direction to get us started. Things will be discussed here or OOC once it's up and running. Rules will be in the OOC.
At this current time, Tris and Four are still in Dauntless.
We won't be following the time-line of the movies, as this is our own creation so it'll be different from the movies.

Looking into his icy blue eyes; Amelia awaited some kind of explanation. As Sam started to speak, her arms were still crossed over her chest as she listened to him. As she heard him ramble; she narrowed her eyes and a slight hurt look crossed her expression, when she heard him say that he had no right acting like her best friend, since he left. Even though he tried to amend his words; Amelia sighed shaking her head slightly "So, because you left...you have the right to just assume what I want...or don't want from you now?!" she shook her head as she sighed, closing her eyes for a few seconds. Yes, he left and left her broken, hurt and confused...but that didn't mean that Amelia would shut him out like that; she had always wanted her best friend back, and to hear him say words like that hurt. It was like someone had stabbed her with a knife or was trying to rip out her insides.

"A bad situation?" Amelia rose a slight eyebrow at Sam in confusion...his words made it seem like nothing, but the dark tone of his voice made it sound like death and life situation; which left her confused. "You're giving me mixed signals Sam. what was so bad that you left for two years and didn't reply to my texts, calls...? Do You even have any idea, what hell I went through without you? I thought you were hurt...or worse, when I never got any replies back and you turn up...like nothing affected me in the first place!" she closed her eyes tightly, hiding her face in the palm of her hands in frustration. Sam had always been honest with her and they seemed to understand each other perfectly...now it felt different, it was like he was a different person and she just didn't know how to make sense of his actions, his confusing words...with a slight frown she looked at him. The anger from her eyes was fading away slightly.

She took a few deep breaths; calming her self down as she looked at him. As she heard him, wanting to start all over again; Amelia could feel her lips twitching; he made it so hard to be mad at him and not smile back. She slapped him on his arm; in the usual playful way she always did as they were growing up. "I swear, if you weren't my best friend and I hadn't missed you, I'd be kicking your ass right now!" Amelia couldn't help but smile at him; letting him know she was teasing him about kicking his ass. Moving bit closer, Amelia wrapped her arms Sam, pulling him closer into a warm embrace. The Demi-Goddess leaned against his chest and she closed her eyes; just breathing in the familiar scent.
