Agreed. Peretti Darkness style horror where good guys win and bad guys lose is fun. The Dunwich Horror and The Cats of Ulthar were also pretty nice. Stories like Evangelion and Madoka Magica disturb and anger the living daylights out of me. Most of my joy at processing things with story lines comes from empathising with the characters... Ehehe!

Just an idea floating around in my head. A unit of the Time Space Administration Bureau called the Transdimensional Watch force has been monitoring the situation in the Star Trek Universe. They then realise that Borg Transwarp is potentially able to pierce the dimensional walls if used with chroniton particles near a certain wormhole. If the borg learn this... Well, needless to say, most of the TSAB has a vested interest in preventing that.

This would use a modification of the Fate core system. 5 points 'till a compel for C rank mages, 10 points a compel for B rank, 20 for A rank, 25 for S, and 28 and 32 for SS and SSS, respectively.
