so/so
boring day, was up pretty late the other day and slept in until past noon.

Sorry to hear it's been boring for you. Hopefully you can get some rest. I finished the post, let me know if anything needs to be changed, but I left it pretty open for your character.

You can choose to aid the trapped man or not. You can also control the trapped man. Also, feel free to add your own plot advancements.
Stepping onwards along the gravel roads, the man was dissatisfied with the sword’s silence. The only clue he pieced was when he became bound to the sword in the Haddleguard ruins. A disturbing memory that questioned why his curiosity sought refuge in those ruins away from a battle that claimed his comrades. Nevertheless, the sunny weather comforted his olive skin. It would be a few days journey until he found the ruins.

Days passed, and the man rested in his own camp. Traveling alone was dangerous, but he wanted to use this vulnerability as a means to get the sword to speak. Surely, if the man became threatened, the sword would react, knowing its life intertwined to his own.

Sleeping in the tent, the man uttered terrified mumbles, “Elbar, Corzeph, and Itsvan.” Names lost to the war between opposing kingdoms. Names he couldn’t save in time.

Meanwhile, as the sword transformed and the man slept; the gallop of horses roared like thunder drowning the chirping of crickets. It sped past the tent, creating a hefty breeze to shiver the man’s body. Awoken through sound and touch, the knightly man bore witness to a foreign man.

Perplexed by oddity, the knightly man spoke, “Who are yo-?” He struggled to finish his statement, as a loud thud erupted in his eardrums. It sounded like a crash, and when he exited his tent, his assumptions were clarified.

Before his dilated eyes, stress tensed the knightly man’s muscles. A horrifying scene splashed in the red grime betwixt large splinter, driver, and horse. The crackling trees tottering to the ground, soon smashed the carriage.

In that instance, the man reached for his sword, pulling nothing from his scabbard.

He remembered the foreign man and shouted in his direction, “Blast! You thief, but…”

Quelled in cognitive reason, he understood not the sword’s disappearance. Despite its loss, the foreign man present equipped no arms. Still, the knightly man lashed at him in a booming echo:

“How dare you! Stealing from a Knight is punishable by death.” Swiftly, the knightly man picked up wooden debris from the carriage’s carnage. He wielded it like a mace. But before he could pace a blunt stroke at the foreign man’s temple, he heard screams.

“Help! Someone help me!” A man’s yelp. It sounded coarse, as if the wood stayed to his chest. Faced with two difficult choices, confronting the thief or saving the man; he decided to abandon the makeshift blunt weapon.

In service to the kingdom, the knightly man always believed in its chivalric values. Heavy religious tones regarding compassion for one's fellow man too inspired his ethic. So, he took his effort in sprint towards the crash site. He lifted the tree up, but the man inside could not move. While he held the tree steady, he needed someone else to pull the man from the tree’s clutches.

He called out to the supposed thief, “Help move this man!”

hi. how are you?

I'm doing well. How about you? I'm still working on the post, as it takes me 1~4 days typically.
Introduction

Hello. My name's golden dragon, and I would say I'm more a casual roleplayer who writes for plot and character development. I may write a lot at times, but I'm not too concerned with flowery prose unless I've the muse for it. The pairings I do are MxF, MxM, and FxF; however, romance is always optional and not mandatory. I prefer developing relationships that aren't romance-based. I do not do fandom RPs, but I'm okay with fandom-inspired RPs using original characters in an alternate universe. I prefer roleplaying primarily in threads over PM.

I generally incorporate darker themes (Such as drugs/alcohol/etc.) into my roleplay, so if you're feint of heart, I would exit the thread. There's no smut in any of my RPs. I'm okay with improvised stories were there's little discussion about each post as well as heavily discussed stories were we discuss every action or some actions before doing a post. I do prefer the former, since we can always retcon or fix a post afterwards.

All the roleplay ideas I've listed are flexible to my partner's changes, so if you like a plot, but prefer it in a different way, feel free to send me a private message about it. Lastly, do not post in this thread, always send me a private message if you're interested in a plot.

My RP Ideas

For these ideas, I've only listed the main premise, but if you need more details send me a PM. Also, most of these posts do not focus on two specific characters, so it's pretty open to the type of character you wish to play. Therefore, it would help that you provide the type of character/scenes you wish to do for these plots.

Closing Statements

Thank you for reading. I may add more plots in the future. In your PM, please send me:

1. The plot you're interested in. (Mandatory)
2. The character you want to play. It doesn't need to be a character sheet, it can just be one word like Centaur or Demon or Soldier or Crush. (Mandatory)
3. Ideas/scenes/plot advancements/character development you want in the RP. (Optional)
4. Any questions you have for me. (Optional)
Yes, there's definitely plenty of plot advancements in that post. Good work. I only have a question for consistency purposes:

Are they resting at an inn, or a camp they made?

For my post, I'll likely have my character awake to noise from something happening by an outside party (Which I'll describe in the next post). So he'll notice your character's human appearance before searching for the noise.

Does that work for the next post, or do you want it to go in a different direction?
Sure, we can both have a say. However, your current post only provides the plot advancement of the sword reacting to the soldier's question as well as its own thoughts (Which just shows isolated lore development that only the reader/spirit would know). Everything else is repeated from my first post.

I guess, what I'm saying is, I'd like something more to the post to show progression in the journey. You don't need to answer the question. Maybe the sword decides to go into its human form raising more questions, or there's an ambush, or a farmer needs help. Basically anything to advance the plot beyond what's expected from the first post.

If it's too much, we may not be compatible, and that's okay. Sometimes we don't know if we work together until the first few posts.
Thank you for changing it. Do you want to contribute more to the current plot? Or do you want me to mostly lead it until you're ready?
In the OOC PM, I said I would play the soldier and you would play the sword. Do you have any other confusions?

Hopefully that clarifies it so you can provide more advancements to the plot beyond how the sword reacts to my character's question. I'll await the next edit.
Alright, I'll wait for the editted version, or let me know once you edit it. I don't think I get notifications for edits.
Oh yeah, you can feel free to brainstorm/describe how you'll do your post here, or it can be improvised without discussion. I don't mind, if there's something we need to fix, I can let you know in OOC.

I started the post in IC, so you can have your character answer his question. Provide some exposition, while describing where they're strolling to. You can also incorporate other types of plot advancements as well. Maybe they encounter a scenario, where the soldier needs to use the sword to save a merchant from bandits, etc. It all depends how you wish to take the plot. Like what type of scenes do you want to craft? Once you figure those out, I think that's what you should write in your post, and I'll respond and add my own plot advancements into the mix.
