Current Sometimes it doesn’t matter too much what choice you make, as long as you make it quick and stick to it.

Merry Easter, one and all. Happy Day if you celebrate it or, if not, I just hope it was a happy day anyways

You should laugh every moment you live, for you'll find it decidedly difficult afterwards.

Bio

Hey there, I assume you want to know about me so here it is...

The name is gowia (g-ow-ee-ah) or Alex. Or anything else you come up with, I'm not fussy.

I am a 25 year old male, though comfortably I'll play anything as a character.

I am a Brit born and bred and so that is my lingo, I use British words and love my slang, and if I don't seem to make sense I may simply be using English idioms that don't translate outside the rural country abodes I swan around.

I enjoy all sorts of things, I am an avid football (soccer) player and supporter, adore music, and live for a good story. I am in love with history. So you will always get a decent plot or conversation out of me on that subject.

If there is anything else you need to ask, feel free too. I swear I don't bite... much.

That's somewhat of a change from your earlier stance on it, but I never intended the whole flying boat thing to work. Even with the technology, it would bankrupt the entire world. Besides, if you actually look at the numbers, nothing could fly in any sort of efficient way using steam power. Funnily enough, you could propel a craft using man power if it was small enough. However, I remember you saying flight was okay, did you change your mind? Either way, I just realized that I forgot to change the name of the lifting system. While hydrogen was known at the time, I doubt anybody would come up with a way to capture it and then decide to shove it in a huge piece of cloth.Of course, I am confused on flight, is it pointless as in there's no practical reason for it, or pointless because you won't allow it/will murder everyone involved?

I said flight and other inventions will come around with my say so. If I wasn't clear I apologise. This is what the great persons and the trait 'Natural Great Men' is for, for inventors to appear. I have no problems with you investigating that however all has got to come up fruitless for the time being.
AND RAGNAR HAS SPOKEN :L
Ragnar had been almost amused by the antics of Jarless Myriane. However the message he had sent her pricked at his interest. He would bite, but later when other ears were not around. During the the verbal jousting between the other Jarless at the table and the Steward Betil, Ragnar continued to refine and rethink his own a opinion, since it was a fool who held only a narrow view and did not adapt to suit the situation. However nobody truly put the killing argument into place. Of course Eyildr supported the elves. She had been suckilng at that teat for as long as he knew and she had, in fairness, been treated fairly and well. The dwarves were still an unknown faction to them. However Eyildr was blinded by her loyalty to the elves. This was no longer about what seemed to be the 'safest' choice for each of the holds but what could put the realm into a position of power. And still the problem of the pirates loomed with only a dedication of ships the precaution taken. The Moth priest had been correct in seeking his skill however he had wanted to wait for the king to ask.

"Jarless Eyildr, you speak of us attempting to curry favour with both realms, and in all honesty that was my first thought. However you are correct that this would only anger both for being used and lead to more trouble than siding with only one. However you are blinded by your loyalty to the elves to see that they are not all peaceful and friendly. You said so yourself that their barbed arrows would fly and that is not a friend you want to make essential. This is why if we must pick, we side with the dwarves. We are not going to swear fealty or make any sort of pact that leaves us open to their assaults and betrayal. And personally I would prefer to be independent from both. But we need to gold these stumps possess. The coffers are only now with gold only because of the gift they have bestowed on our king. You may be reliant on the elves and that is your own business but you are only one fief and cannot be allowed to dictate the entire nation on your own whim of safety. The nation needs gold right now to prepare for war, strengthen our economy and deal with these damn pirates. You are correct to say that gold is worthless in times of war, but during times of peace you need gold to prepare for war. If we were to side with the dwarves and your realm were to be attacked I would wholeheartedly swear my entire navy and army to your defense. You are not alone in this world and to think that by not siding with the elves would mean we would let you burn is a mistake. We must become a superpower again and that means exploiting the most valuable that we can find as well as protecting our own. I now ask that we take a break from our meeting. A certain individual may have let the wine get the better of her and I wish to discuss matters of the pirates in privacy with the council."

Ragnar stood to make his notion known.
I need to be clear on the tech level. It is 1700 level. FLying should be a pointless endeavour at the moment and steam power currently can only really move water around such as down mine shafts etc. Flying boats are a no go and basically impossible. This is not steampunk I will just make some inventions earlier when I decide to.
Post again, I am only keeping up to date with the revolution. The date hasnt advanced so no other events.
"Hopeless Records."

The manager had a grin like a cat with cream. The band members not so big a grin. Jack ended up speaking for the others.

"Ermm...who boss?"

The prospect of a decent label seemed gone now. Jack thought otherwise. Because of his work in radio he had got to know the music of a lot of unknown labels and bands. This label dealt mostly in Punk to Alternative. Perfect for them. Jack slid himself off the bimbo and turned to the band.

"C'mon guys this is gunna be great for us. So lets get the set down, have some fun and we can talk about this more tomorrow. SOund good?"

First Jack directed this at their manager who nodded and then looked at the other members to gauge their answer. However as he was looking back from the manager he saw the two bimbos again trying to attach themselves to his arm.

"Maybe YOU get the set down? I think I have some pressing matters back at my place."

You couldn't describe how wide Jacks grin was.
Prussian Rebels stay steady.

With the halts in violence against the people the flags of the rebels haven't been drawing nearly as much support. Further more a group of rebels have become trapped on the eastern border of former Nurmburg lands. Around 15,000 Minutemen have decided to set up defensive positions are hold for as long as they can. Either being given the supplies they need or taking them from surrounding areas. In better news for the government the Red Army have been destroyed. When the Corustarian forces arrived in the south they happened upon the home base of the Red Army. In a minor skirmish the Red Army was scattered with only 200 regulars being lost on the side of Corustaria. \

sorry, I just liked the being prayed too, made me feel like a big man :3
Jack smiled as Drake came back stage. Turning he offered a fist.

"Drake man the gig was awesome. I know we all did well but you are the one who has really got this place ging getting it all set up and such. You should be proud man. Although I am not sure about this. Boss wants a chat."

Turning back to the manager he slid his hand down the back of the bimbo's mini skirt whilst he listened. She didn't seem to care much.

"Boys the gig was a sell out. A full house and all of the T-Shirts sold. However that is not the best news. There was a scout at the bar. Probably couldn't have seen him the guy is like a midget. He liked what he heard and approached me during the gig. He wants to bring you boys to his studio to show his producers. Lads you may have just hit the big time."

The grin in the managers face was as wide as the mans belly however it was a grin Jack shared.

"What label boss?"

The manager's smile lowered a bit.

"Well it's not a HUGE label. Y'know."

There was an uncomfortable silence.

"You gunna tell us boss?"
The show was the best they had ever done. Drake seemed to be in a music berserk and he wasn't going to get in the way of that. As the gig drew on the music slowed towards the middle before livening up and going mental at the end. It wasn't the longest set they had done however they were only doing their own work and not covering as they had done in the past. The lighting seemed to make it seem almost unearthly, Drake really had done a work of art with them and his pedals were being worn down. As the final song drew to a close, Jack did as he always did and left slightly early to allow his bandmates the final cheers. It was their moment as well and he loved them reveling in it. The crowd had been amazing and Jack had sweat pouring from him, this was the time to put away the sit. After about 10 minutes he had dragged himself out of it and was in the usual blue skinny jeans, a cotton shirt (top button done up) and a pair of black converses. As he found himself back stage again he crashed onto the sofa waiting for Drake to finish. He would catch up before heading out. However as he was thinking he was cut off as one of the blonde bimbo's ran over, mounted him and stuck her tongue down his throat. Despite the initial shock he didn't turn down the opotunity and was only stopped when their manager coughed loudly. He pulled out and grinned at the man standing over them.

"I need to talk to you and the others when your all ready."
