Golden Rays

-In Edoniras summer came to pass, the sun is shining and golden fields line the countryside of most nations. I say most because even in these, the happy times, there was war and death all across nations. In the Councilate’s colonial province the Khan had revealed himself from his nation to strike fear into the hearts of all the citizens who lived there. However the major fortifications were well defended and were well stocked. This means that the Councilate lost any sort of money making good it could try and take as they are forced into their homes. On a brighter side for the Councilate rebel groups appearing behind the lines of the Khans forces. Patrols were attacked on their rounds and carts of supplies were ambushed. The Khan losses 100 swordsmen, 100 spearmen and 50 crossbowmen.

-Furthermore recent fighting in Bennipolis has become even bloodier as the leader of the Terheridon forces killed himself. Terheridon were planning on up sticking and returning home on a peace treaty with no strings attached however Bennipolis decided then that they would ask for a truce whilst also attacking from the sea. This kind of betrayal was un-acceptable, how dare they offer the olive branch with one hand whilst stab Terheridon with the other. The Terheridon forces then spent a number of nights discussing plans, do they return home and fight off the incursion or do they push on trying to take the capital itself. The answer soon became clear. Bennipolis forces had a much stronger navy and the incursion had come from sea, if they returned home the enemy’s men would simply jump in their ships and Terheridon could do nothing to stop them. And so they decided to cut the beating heart from the beast. Terheridons forces stopped pillaging and looting and marched, they marched up to the city of Bennipolis itself and begun to siege it with only one message sent.

People of Bennipolis we only want peace and yet you have forced out hand. If you withdraw your forces then we will also withdraw, give you the body of the traitor and shall publically declare that any other act of violence committed by Terheridon against your nation as illegal and that if it happens then all nations will be free to attack with their full might.

-However the war in Dont is finally over. After a number of months of fighting loyalist forces have either joined the Alliance or been trialled and executed. The most notable was Former President Otto Von Klebb. He was given to the Republic as a peace offering and the revolutionaries took no time in exacting their revenge. Alongside a number of his rich friends he was tied to a cross, whipped and branded. Rotten veg and fruit was thrown at him before he was made to lick the boot of Robert the Freedman clean. Finally he was beheaded, his body crucified in flames whilst his head was tied to the gate of the Royal Palace.

Jack didn't mind that the bow wielding man was leaving. All he cared about was checking up on this girl ad getting himself safe. The girls request to leave the door open was fine and he would of course honour it. A lot had happened over the last six months and for her to not trust men seemed quite small in the world of problems other people found themselves in. Walking away from the girl he found the water and carried a small amount into the carriage she had mentioned before grabbing some towels as well. One for him to sleep on later and another or the girl now. When the carriage was finished he stepped over to the girl and helped her along, talking gently as he went.

"Okay I am going to take a quick look all over you, check for any sign of any infection, I'm going to check your pulse and joint movement and I am going to check out as much as a can about the baby without a ultra-sound. Okay?" His reassuring voice echoed off the inside of the carriage as they stepped in side and he lay her down on her back on the towels he had placed out around the floor. He was about to shut the door when he remembered what the girl had said and just pulled the door slightly more closed so the boy couldn't see.

After about half an hour Jack stepped outside opening the door fully. "Okay Jess, your baby appears fine, there is no sign on you of any infection, your pulse and the sound of your lungs seem normal, skin pigmentation seems normal too so there shouldn't be any dietary problems. All in all your body is handling this completely normally and the bay should be healthy and fine. Although without an ultra-sound I can't be sure you seem about twenty four to twenty eight weeks gone. The baby could be here anywhere within a month or two I would say." Jack smiled as he sat the girl back down where she had been before, grabbing himself a bottle of water out of his pack he sat next to her and invited the boy over to sit with them whilst he rummaged through his bag.

"You out here all alone then?" Jack's voice was a little gruffer than when he had carrying out the examination now however that was just the one he put on when examining patients.

Jack almost chuckled when the girl, obviously pregnant, asked him to check on her child. CHildren, always fucking children. Jack lowered his hands slowly whilst the man with the bow begun a huge hissy fit before slumping to the floor like a child. Jack assumed this was a sign he was allowed to hlp. Stepping forward he dropped off his pack with what seemed to be everyone elses and stood next to the pregnant girl who was now sitting next to the pissy man. Putting a hand on her shoulder to reasure her he spoke calmy and softly, like he had with his more nervous patients at the hospital.

"Okay, my name is Jack SUllam, people just call me Sully." Jack smiled, it was always good for your patient to have some idea of who you are. "It looks to me that you are quite far gone now. Have you had any morning sickness, random cramping or more frequent urination? I assume you would have by now however I need to know how frequently so as to get a rough estimation then If." Jack looked around. "We can find somewhere a little more private and a little safer I can go through with the rest of the procedure. Is that okay?" The man to the girls side may not like him but the girl was obviously very stressed and if anything that was only going to make the baby situation worse, he was doing everything as calmly as he could.

Jack-Alley to Railroad-Floyd, Lynn and Jessalyn

Jack was about to help the boy up when there was a clatter from further down the alley. Jack stood and stepped back warily, the boy in front of him doing the same. Just then a walker lunged out from the shadows. Jack was fast enough and dived clear however the boy was not as fast. The walker managed to catch his leg and drag him into the shadows, the sound of screams pierced Jacks ears to be quickly cut out by the biting of the walker. It was happening all over again. He just didn't seem to be lucky with children, he stumbled off from the floor and out of the dirt running in the first direction he saw. He didn't care what or who he ran into he just wanted to get away. It had all happened so fast. As Jack ran the scene of a town and city were replaced with a more industrial setting. Railroads replaced pavement and trains replaced the apartments all around and as he got further into this area the sign of people became more clear, burnt out wood and empty cans of food were tucked away in corners of carriages and a single motorcycle track led along the mud. Finally clearing another corner Jack came upon a group three incredibly mismatched people, normally the ones you could trust the most, as the motorbike he had heard earlier was revving off. Falling again he had to claw himself out of the mud one last time before approaching the group slowly, again raising his hands.

"Please, are you guys bitten. I can't run much further."

Jack didn't want to appear so pathetic but he had a problem with how this infection mercilessly took children and the recent event had shaken him.

‘War Never Changes’

-War has always been a brutal thing and the Tereridonians were in no mood to change that. Bodies littered the streets of the villages and towns they sacked on their rampage towards Benniopolis itself. Women were raped as their homes burnt however nothing was slowing the assault.

The City-State of Bennipolis

The Tereridonians have given permission for the talks to take place and will, in turn, halt their attack whilst the peace talks take place. They also say that they will be sending 100 of their own knights to protect Athenakles. In accordance with what you are doing. (Basically you can flesh the talks out however you wish but Tereridon either want Athenakles installed as the new leader of Benniopolis or they want the land highlighted below.)

However recent messages between the waring parties have caused the Tereridon to cease their relentless killing for the time being, in hopes that a resolution might be found. Currently peace talks are taking place. Tereridon makes it clear that all countries aiding Benniopolis honour this too. The Kamalao Republi also came under some pressure for their decleration of support for Benniopolis, they had enlisted the aid of the Stone Rose Society, a guild of assasins renowned throughout the world however one of the assassins was captured on his entry to King Dearhearts private chamber,in exchange for his freedom he gave up the name of his employers, the Republi. Terheridon has publically denounced the Kamalao Republi as underhand, back stabbing and devious as well as not to be trusted by other nations for this blatant act of disrespect. However whilst this was happening all trading parties and vessels have been halted from entering into Terheridon.

-In other news the revolution in Dont was becoming more and more bloody as the days went on. Bands of ‘Freedom Fighters’ went from village to village slaughtering anybody believed to be aiding the regime. Public executions were common and nobody seemed safe. Robert the Freedman officialy claims he is no leader of the revolutionaries however coordinates everything from his own base inside the capital. The Palace still stood as a government stronghold however it was running low on supplies and would fall soon.

Corleonn-Warrus-Grudden-Nollin Alliance

Robert the Freedman has refused your offer of a meeting, as this would hurt his image and reputation with the party. He has sent you the following offer however.
Firstly, Otto Von Klebb will be returned to the People’s Republic of Dont to stand trial.
Secondly, all Alliance forces will withdraw from Dont territory and all Dontian citizens wishing to return from Alliance mines will be returned.
Thirdly, the Alliance will publically ask that all loyalists remaining in Dont stand down to face trials.
In exchange for this Robert is willing to allow the following.
Firstly, the 20,000 soldiers who defy the revolution will be stripped of all their arms and gear, dishonourably discharged and then escorted to the Alliance border where they may join with your faction.
Secondly, any Alliance citizens, soldiers and officials will be allowed to return to Alliance lands unharmed.

-In light of all the death Drikin is indeed an incredibly effective and useful anti-bacterial agent, armies and mercenaries buy it up in large quantity to deal with the constant threat of infection. The Councilate Gains 1,500,000,000 ($).
