Hey there, I assume you want to know about me so here it is...
The name is gowia (g-ow-ee-ah) or Alex. Or anything else you come up with, I'm not fussy.
I am a 25 year old male, though comfortably I'll play anything as a character.
I am a Brit born and bred and so that is my lingo, I use British words and love my slang, and if I don't seem to make sense I may simply be using English idioms that don't translate outside the rural country abodes I swan around.
I enjoy all sorts of things, I am an avid football (soccer) player and supporter, adore music, and live for a good story. I am in love with history. So you will always get a decent plot or conversation out of me on that subject.

Well I would be doing either, a nation that forgos technological advancement to be completely 'one with magic' so daily chores to tearing down a cities walls. However they don't use catapults or any kind of tech. If there is no magic I am going for a Mongol-esque nation, very much horsebound. If that helps with deciding.

Bio: Gratus was born to an impoverished noble family. Their lands had been decimated by Gallic tribesmen and bandits leaving them with lots of titles but no land or money. Originally they were on shortlists for many a senate position however they then lacked the power to do anything and so their name slipped lower and lower down the lists. It was Antonus who would bring the Gratus name back to the forefront of noble business. He had always found the politics and business side of Rome to be to his liking and he had a natural talent for it. A family friend payed for him to be put through schooling by some of the finest tutors and then had him placed as the quaestor to a Sicilian governor. Over a period of 5 years he managed to double the revenue of the local land as well as place many of his friends into important positions within the governor's household. Very soon he found himself incredibly popular amongst the masses and with many friends who owed him favours. and begun embezzling money out of the funds the governor was giving him. After another 6 years he had saved up enough and quit working for the man. Finally buying himself the piece of land he had an eye on in Spain. There he grows vast amounts of grapes for wines as well as the crops for a number of small villages and a military camp on his lands.

I am very sorry to announce that due to circumstances out of my control I am going to have to be closing this. I simply haven't got the time anymore to keep up and keep this to a good standard. I apologise to all and am happy to say that you have all been great participants. I will hopefully start another in the future when current situations resolve themselves and will definitely send PMs if I do so to all of you involved as you have made this a very enjoyable and fun experience. Again I am very sorry and hope I can start something up again soon.
