Current Sometimes it doesn’t matter too much what choice you make, as long as you make it quick and stick to it.

You should laugh every moment you live, for you'll find it decidedly difficult afterwards.

Bio

Hey there, I assume you want to know about me so here it is...

The name is gowia (g-ow-ee-ah) or Alex. Or anything else you come up with, I'm not fussy.

I am a 25 year old male, though comfortably I'll play anything as a character.

I am a Brit born and bred and so that is my lingo, I use British words and love my slang, and if I don't seem to make sense I may simply be using English idioms that don't translate outside the rural country abodes I swan around.

I enjoy all sorts of things, I am an avid football (soccer) player and supporter, adore music, and live for a good story. I am in love with history. So you will always get a decent plot or conversation out of me on that subject.

If there is anything else you need to ask, feel free too. I swear I don't bite... much.

Hmm, interesting. I'll probably do that.Yeah, they fear their pagan gods. xDYou could try to send a crusade though, but the trolls would probably break their backs.

Yeah I'm going to hold off on the crusades until I know exactly who is god fearing Haloist nations.

I just had the idea that the previous King had been invited to join Haloism, and declined it on the grounds that his people would suffer from the sudden change in religion. And then maybe they came to an agreement that if the Kings helped support the Doge and Empire with metals then the Kolmaenar wouldn't be forced to join Haloism. It's just a thought I had, but if you don't want to I can make the King a raving lunatic who has false pre-conceptions. :P

Ahhhh see now I know understand, along with the metals how about a non aggression pact? But I will accept with the past deal:)
Nothing in the good book against trolls. Are you god fearing? :)
Ahhh good to hear.
@Mista Slaya, hey I was just reading over the posts and yours mentions a deal between the Doge and one of your previous rulers. What deal is that? I only sent the letter out to people who follow Haloism since I wasn't 100% sure who does and so it's fine for you to receive one however you can't make up deals that I have no idea about since you are basically telling me something I have to agree too. Not trying to be rude, and if I appear to be I apologize, but please consult me on deals you want between us.
I say start up a whole new thread and re advertise for people bringing anybody who is interested across with us.
Thats fine however I am very close with faulty and so I sometimes use the Leagues navy atm and in exchange the league gets some help from my army. However the League is quite new so I still understand there is going to be raids etc.
Just go:L
Gang character Sheet;
Name: The Golden State Particulars

Age: 6 Months

Uniform: There are no uniforms, just nice Italian suits.

Symbol:

Product: Loan sharking, money laundering, insider trading and embezzlement.

Starter Muscle: 4

History: The GSP have been operating out of cities for years now in branches. Each branch was designated a city or state, given start up capital and told to start making money. The most recent edition is (I'm going to say New York as no city name is given) the New York branch. The GSP make their money in other people’s money, they are the bankers and accountants of the criminal world. Gangs and corporations hide their money with the GSP because they are experts in the field and very soon everybody will know it. Money is moved all around the world to keep Uncle Sam from having a taste as well as keeping it away from those pesky police officers who would take away people’s ill-gotten wealth. They of course take a percentage for the expert service which they in turn invest for they into businesses they know are going to only go up. Of course they also offer loans to aspiring gangs and criminals however when they aren’t paid back on time the GSP are never afraid to get their hands dirty and with all of the money they touch and the friends they make they normally have a number of allies to help them. Nobodies money survives too long without the GSP laundering it and hopefully this new branch will be one that will last for ages to come.

Mob boss Character Sheet;
Name: Peter Stirk

Age: 61

Appearance:

Gender: Male

Basic Personality: He deals with this branch of the GSP as a big business. He holds meetings, poker games and regularly visits bars to play pool and drink for his meetings. He never was one for the dirty side of business but if a tongue needs cutting out he won’t back down. Finally he doesn't truly trust anyone, he will strike deals and believes in respect amongst thieves but doesn't truly trust anyone.

History: Peter has been working for the GSP for most of his life, his father was a big time banker in Boston and he had always felt comfortable around the office. Brought up with a silver spoon in his mouth it was a shock when his father was robbed and he was left with nothing. It was the biggest on anyone had ever soon and he was amazed as to how somebody could get way with that. He spent the rest of his life working his way back up through the banking world trying his own scams and running his own numbers to be just as good as the man who robbed his father. During his time he drew the attention of the GSP, they signed him up immediately, especially when he managed to trick the scout into handing over all of his bank details without even knowing it. During his time with the GSP he ran a number of businesses in the laundering department turning criminals money into a working man’s money and after many years of service he has been given his own branch to do business with.

Other: The GSP operate out of a number of back rooms, bank storage facilities and a single very nice gentlemen's club that has a bar, pool table, darts and a back room cards table.

Lamps lit the White Palace up like a night sky, each one glittering and making the marble seem even more angelic than the sculpture and decoration did already. The red robes of the ten Marshals floated silently across the floor as they placed the monthly offerings onto the altar in the ceremonial way. Doge Rudun was supposed to be there however the ceremony was not public and so he felt no obligation to, he was busy dealing with the politics of the day so that the Emperor could carry out what was best for the nation and the church. The first order of business was of course the capitalist rebels. They had been hounding Empire since the split and they were becoming bolder in recent days. Farm houses and smithies were being burnt down weekly and it was costing the Empire deeply. The Inquisition had been given a vast sum of money in terms of their budget and they were requesting that more men be sent to assist in the 'recovery' of certain suspicious individuals. He signed the paper quickly and put in to one side, the Inquisition were good at their jobs and he knew they would find the ring leaders. The next was from the delegation in the Deauxerran League, Halosim had always been a tough pill for them to swallow, now it seemed their cities were beginning to taint it to suit their own needs and that was not acceptable to the Empire. The delegation was requesting that the Inquisitor present be allocated some funds to allow for the indirect control of their church. The Doge was never fond of this, he of course wanted to see Haloim in it's purist form however the Inquisitors were not known for their gentleness and business in other countries always had to be done as quietly as possible.Quickly looking over a budget report he pulled out funds for the job and allocated it to a trading caravan for the delegation to aid 'church renovation'. The money would really be paying for bribes and muscle to firstly isolate the churches that still follow a pure version of Haloism and then begin installing leaders of other churches that also follow the true version. Finally a Marshall arrived at his door beckoning for him, it was time for him to preach to the masses. He signed his last letter and left. The letter read as follows.

To: All nations of this world that follow the one true faith,
From: His Holiness, Doge Rudun of the Holy Stomian Empire and the Haloist Order.

His holiness has requested your presence of all of the leaders of those glorious nations that follow the one true faith in the Summer Festivat. A grand feast will be held at the White Palace before sermons will take place to thank the lord for his bounty. Finally the leaders will be blessed with holy water before talks with the Doge and the Emperor may begin about other topics that may come up.
