Hello there! If you're reading this thread then I'm going to assume that you're at least somewhat curious as to what I have to say, eh? Well, I've been wanting to devote myself to a solid role-play surrounding a zombie apocalypse for quite some time now. I'm hoping that I'll have a lot more luck on this site than I've had elsewhere, though only the passage of time will tell me that!
Now, before we begin I'd like to point out that I'm not looking purely for romance. I won't rule it out as a possibility between our characters but by no means will it be a definite aspect of our role-play. At best if it does happen it'll do so due to genuine attraction between our characters and even then the situation will be dire enough for it to never become the focus of the role-play itself.
In addition to that I'd like to see a lot of character depth, realism and tough decisions being made. Ideally our characters would team up not necessarily out of choice but due to necessity. As an interesting twist perhaps they could be the sort of individuals who wouldn't be likely to give the other the time of day if not for the dire situation they find themselves in? Conflict and character flaws are a major selling point for me as they tend to provide a pretty decent challenge and help keep a story fresh for quite some time.
Ideally this will be a long term thing, so I'd respectfully ask those interested to only send me a PM if they have both the time and effort to commit to this. I don't want to sound arrogant, but I've grown rather tired of going through the song and dance of setting up role-play only for my partner to either lose interest or vanish entirely. I'll understand if you have to attend to urgent real life matters, though. I'm not heartless!
Now, I think I've gone over most of what I wanted to say. I've left some things intentionally vague as I want to plan out the exact details with my potential partner so that we can both influence the role-play to our tastes.
