Current @Spirit me too friend, me too. @Rin, oh, so you meant that..... that would certainly be great. If FGO does gather enough people, it'd be great to play the novels again

The Legend Of The Two Brothers

Two weapons were used during the creation of this continent, and an epic battle raged to forever echo into the future and beyond.

Great warrior and hero, Gunhild, faced his dearest but cunning and scheming brother, Brynhild, both wielding the most powerful weapons in their arsenal.

Gunhild used his trusty sword, Gram, that shone with the light of the sun, where legend tells it was forged, and Brynhild faced him with his horrifying sword that seemed to have plunged right out of oblivion with its black color and red edge, the Lævateinn.

Gunhild wished for the continent to be ruled under a powerful but kind king, so that the people would be at peace with their neighboring nations. Brynhild wished for a military regime, and to expand their influence all across the world.

When their two interests clashed, it was obvious for their people that only one would emerge victorious, and yet it did not happen like so.

One evening, as Gunhild was dining in his own stronghold, his royal mage and trusted aide came to him running with urgent news. One of his trusted generals had turned against him and Brynhild ordered to poison Gunhild with a powerful poison that would kill him by the evening. Sadly, his friend arrived too late, as Gunhild had already drunk the poison.

Gunhild was a respected man who would rather die than abandon his pride, whilist Brynhild relied on schemes and cunning to see himself through the day.

Furious at his brother's treachery, Gunhild and his mage stormed Brynhild's stronghold, looking to take Brynhild' head, despite the mage's protests to sit tight and wait for him to find a cure.

That night, Gunhild pierced his brother's stomach with Gram, while Brynhild found himself with no other plan, unable to predict his brother's blind rage and his eventual demise.

The two brothers died in each other's arms that night, and their weapons, Gram and Lævateinn, imbued with Gunhild's noble wishes for his country and the scheming and evil resent of Brynhild, disappeared into oblivion, never to be seen again.

Gunhild's royal mage stepped up into the throne to take control over the whole continent, at least until Gunhild's child could take his rightful place as ruler of the continent which, in Gunhild's honor, was named;

Gun'Varr

The Present

Since then it has been 5,000 years. Though Gunhild's story has become more of a story for children's bedtime and Brynhild a horrifying monster to scare children into behaving correctly, one thing is sure.

The legends are real.

Proof of that is the man in the throne of the capital of Gun'Varr, Jotenvarr.

King Alexandro, a fair but still young king with still much to learn. He ascended to the throne quickly after his father died during a gruesome war with their neighboring kingdom, Alistaf.

A mad dictator was at the head of the poor country, which left it in complete tatters. Alexandro's first order of business after becoming king was to absorb Alistaf into their own kingdom and give each and everyone of its citizens the citizenship for Jotenvarr and allow them to work and continue on with their lives as they wished.

Everyone was surprised by king Alexandro's kindness, even more so when it was an assassin of Alistaf which had taken his father's life.

Royal mage, and cousin, of the king, Straizo, was sure that Alexandro was to become an excellent man and ruler.

Now, after the war and with heavy losses of both sides, King Alexandro has summoned skilled warriors from all across the continent, regardless of origin or personality, if they have the skill, they will be accepted as the king's new army, and royal guard.

And that's where you come in.

The Plot Of The RP

This is basically Fire Emblem. The same world, the same races, the same class system, but a completely different setting and different heroes to tell the story. So, Fire Emblem but not exactly Fire Emblem.

This RP shall follow a group of 6 young hopeful knights aiming to become King Alexandro's new Royal Guard. Though the RP won't be restricted to the 6 of them, of course, that would be boring. Friends, enemies, mercenaries, assassins, the occasional thief, the occasional demi-human, just about anything that they come across is welcome to join their excursion. So yes, this RP shall remain open until it is way too much for me to handle alone or even with a pair of Co-GM's.

Now, if you played the patched version of Shin Monshou No Nazo or, the New Mystery Of The Emblem if my Japanese isn't too shabby, you'll see that there is plenty of similarities here. Hell, you could even call it a carbon copy if you wanted, just with different characters.

Trust me, it is not. You can go apeshit at me if you want after some of the things that will happen here, but just don't give up on the RP, all right? I'll make sure to make it worth your time.

In this RP, if someone strikes your fancy, you can marry them! Yay for marriage! And yes, I say marry because there will also be kiddies (you can make them if you like) like in both Awakening or Fates, though no, there won't be any time travel sheanenigans here. I'll figure something out for this, don't worry. Perhaps secluded regions like in Fates.

I know I'm not giving to many details here, but that's because one of the main aspects of this RP will be mystery so hang on to your panties, will you?

Summary In A List

  • An original setting and continent in the Fire Emblem world and though the continent has both its own lore and heroes, we will keep the races from the original Fire Emblem games.
  • So yes, you can be a manakete, a taguel, a laguz, a youko or even a garou from the newest games. I don't want this to be flooded by those so I'll ban them if there are too much people making characters like those.
  • You can be any (basic) class you like, though there's a ton I haven't seen at work in the games I've played so I'll only allow people to use classes from Awakening and Fates. The only banned classes are Lord, Conqueror and enemy classes. You can also create your class, as long as it stands within reason of what is acceptable.
  • Some useful links: Fates, Awakening and Laguz(within reason).
  • There will be a marriage system and your children may be able to fight by your side. If you want a child anyway, you can always marry an unnamed NPC like Chrom did.
  • And lastly, a character driven story involving a big mystery that circles around an ancient legend and its descendants, like with Marth and Chrom. Yep, but all original, if inspired off Shin Monshou No Nasho.
  • Also, if you get lucky, you might just get a legendary sword.

Some Rules

  • No Mary Sues, Gary Stus or similars.
  • No Metagaming
  • No Godmodding
  • Interact with other characters. Not necessarily positive interactions. If your character is shy, then just have them brushing the others aside or something.
  • Romance is heavily encouraged, but nothing beyong PG-13. Anything past that goes to PM and you have to leave us with a cliffhanger and a fadeaway.
  • Pointless swearing and dirty jokes are all right OOC, if everybody is all right with 'em.
  • Also, if you are chatting with another member of the RP about something unrelated to the RP, and the chat drags for too long, take it to PM's.
  • No flame wars, please. If there is something, solve it at PM's or bring it to me. I'll see what I can do about it.
  • Character Sheets need to be posted in the Character section, otherwise they WON'T be reviewed.
  • If you are going away for some time and can't post, then just tell me. I'll have to Godmod 'em a bit, but nothing major.
  • I usually give people the benefit of doubt, so if you can't post for a while, I'll wait for you at least a week. The others are free to move on and handle your character as they see fit to go on with the story. If you get past that week, your character will have a sudden and horrible death.
  • And lastly, have fun!
  • More rules may be added at my discresion.

Locations

The RP will take place in 3 main locations, and well, everything in between. All of them are thriving kingdoms of their own right (well, one isn't but that's because of recent events) and have completely different climates and customs, and our characters will visit 'em all.
Jotenvarr, One With Nature

The thriving capital of Gun'Varr.

Surrounded by woods and animals, Jotenvarr's people are no strangers to nature, and they welcome it in all of its forms. Their house are often covered with roots of nearby trees or vines that stood there even after the construction of some houses was finished.

They still need to eat, though, and are no strangers to hunting. The Food Chain is a great aspect of their religion and their Goddess Ishtakk (who has an incredible resemblance to Naga) is the Goddess of Hunting. Hunters often offer their prayers to her before they set out to take some meat to the table.

Jotenvarr happens to be the largest kingdom of the continet, as it should be no surprise, occupying a vast 2/4 of Gun'Varr's territory.

Their current king is Alexandro, who raised to the throne after Alistaf assassinated the previous king, Alexandro's father.

They shared cordial political relationships with Alistaf and Frosspeak, until Alistaf started war.

Alistaf, The Empire Of Sand

Despite its recent absorption by Jotenvarr, many still refer to this city as 'The Empire Of Sand'.

Before its downfall and reign of the mad dictator, Mustaf, Alistaf was known for being highly militarized and of a hostile disposition towards its neighboring kingdoms.

Previous king, Aladdin, was known for being a cautious man who'd rather keep cordial relationships with his fellow monarchs, but after a coup d'etat by Mustaf, who dared call himself the 'Pharaoh', everything took a turn for the worse.

Starting by attacking the capital of Gun'Varr, they hoped to instill fear upon the rest of the continent and have an unconditonal surrender from all of them.

When their military might was proven to be nothing in the face of sheer numbers, they decided to, cowardly, assassinate Jotenvarr's king. Though they succeded, Straizo, the royal tactician of Jotenvarr, did not let down on his attack and was able to inspire the troops once again, terminating the war swiftly with the raise to the throne of Alexandro.

Afterwards, and by decree of King Alexandro, they were absorbed into Jotenvarr's own haildom, becoming a part of the capital and giving it its now massive size.

Its ruler is now a count.

Frosspeak, The Frozen Mountains

Surrounded by sea and owning most of the mountains, Frosspeak is now the second largest kingdom, whereas and when Alistaf was still an independent kingdom was the smallest one.

They prioritize peace over everything else, and it is hard to see a man or woman coming from Frosspeak who is neither a monk or a teacher.

Though they do have warriors, they are only a handful, but that handful is known as the 'White Fist Of The Snow'. They are not known for waging war, because they would settle it all at once with their specialized unit. Little is known of the order, but one thing is for certain, and that is that they are as lethal as they are stealthy.

They refer to their king as 'His Holiness' and he is also the leader of the religions of this place. The current king is merely known as Victor the Fourth, and many fear his katana and skill with the blade.

Extremely secretive but still open for international relationships, Frossbarr tends to stay in friendly terms with Jotenvarr and there is no log of ever going to war with them in either of the kingdoms libraries.

The Knight Squads And The Selection Process

Okay, I tend to be quite impatient and assuming, so I thought that most of you would know how it went in SMNN. Obviously, not all people would've played that too.

So, here's a small explanation of how it will go.

Firstly, the knights will be separated in squads of 6. There's not that much people as of right now, so we shouldn't have problems with this.

Afterwards, they will face several trials from their instructor. They will have to face different enemies, get out of tight situations, even the occasional moral problem every now and then.

They too will face other knight squads in tournament rounds to see how their teamwork works against others. Though the fights aren't deathmatches, the first few round are indeed enough to send you back home packing.

After all these trials, I will evaluate the squad's performance. If they qualify to become the royal guard, well then, congratulations! If not, there will be some work in the shadows to ensure that you end up as the royal guard anyway, so don't worry.

Reclassing And Promoting

When you think that your character may be able to promote their class or you think your class should change for whatever reason, like you found a horse or a pegasus and want it as your stead, tell me about it.

If it is indeed time for you to promote or your class really should change, I will give you the OK and you can go ahead and change your class in your CS.

Support Convos & Support Ranks

Like in the game, characters in the game will be able to support one another and will gain beneficial effects from this support ranks.

I must ask players to make official support convos with whoever their partner is so that we can keep a clear record of where they are standing in the support rankings.

Rankings go from E to A. E is the first rank, when they just got to know one another, and the relationship between two character deepends as the ranks goes up. A means they are the best of friends, while S means they are either married or are life companions. You can only have one S support rank.

We are implementing an special rank here, which is rank F. Rank F shows that the two involved characters have a negative relationship. E.G. Illian and Hirotsuka are on bad terms, due to them often fighting over petty things.

You can have your support convos IC if you want to, or you can also do it privately over PM's or make a collab in titanpad.com

It all depends on what you prefer to do, really. Also, if you achieve S rank, make sure to make a lovey dovey confession. Whether you show it to everyone or not is your choice.

We will be keeping a spreadsheet with the ranks and legends. Give @Light your gmail and he will add you to the spreadsheet.
Great! I was unsure of whether you had dropped this or not but your slot is still safe.
Yep. Much better.

Since Sloth went ahead and said that he would take a little longer with his CS than he first expected, I will go ahead and make the first IC post tomorrow at night. I'm in timezone -6:00, or just Mexico if you want to check that out.

The post should be up at about 11:30 or so, so that Sloth has a full day to finish his CS.
Cool beans. With this much interest, I should start putting an OOC together.

Brb with that OOC
Awwww, Shin, that's so sweet. If I were a woman, I'm sure I'd be sighing.

Chitoge will probably sigh. And have some hearts in her eyes, err, eye.
Shameless double posting and bumping for this.

Added king Alexandro to the OP as well as a CS for you guys to fill out. Might also get to work on them kingdoms.
Yes, she's dancing with all of her spirit, the same as the girl in the video. So yeah, feel free to point at her and laugh.
Pfttt, of course I am not a fan of idolmaster. What made you think that? I also don't have all of their songs in my phone. Noup. Of course not.
Arashi

Today was one of Arashi's favorite days. He HAD to stay copped inside because of the rain. His parents couldn't tell him to go play outside today, cause he'd return soaked in water.

Not that they did that, mind you. Arashi had an habit of exercising himself aside from his other more sedentary hobbies, but he liked to think that his parents were worried about him spending too much time in his room.

That was what usually happened to him when he spent too much time in Brain Burst. He loses track of time and eventually forgets that time passes way faster inside the Unlimited Neutral Field.

Today, though, he decided to rather spend his day reading some manga or other he had pushed to the side after buying it, all while laying comfortably in his bed while music played. He was never up to date with his favorite series because he always tossed them to the side after buying them. A bad habit of his that only happened with manga.

After finishing the manga in his hands, he tossed it aside (again) and turned his eyes up to the ceiling.

"Maybe I should play a bit..." He said to himself.

"Arashi, come on down, dinner's ready!" A female voice said from outside his room.

Arashi grunted some, before flexing up and stretching his arms into the air.

"Coming." He said in a lazy voice before hurrying out of his room.

Brain Burst would have to wait.

Chitoge

"Minions of Darkness! Trem'le before this power!" Chitoge nodded after having been able to suppress her accent for the most of that sentence.

She was probably the only dunce out of her house with the weather as it was. She was already soaked aftr having spent God knows how much time outside in the water like that.

She was holding a magazine rolled into her hand and kept it close to her mouth, acting out as if it were a microphone.

Inside her imagination, she was wearing a large black victorian dress with spikes by the sides and on the shouldres. Basically, an armor, but she was not good at imagining amored dresses so the spikes should do for now.

"Surrender to this requiem of darkness or suffer the consequences!" After that, she took a deep breath and was about to start singing her 'requiem of darkness', but she stopped once she saw someone coming by.

A deep red blush appeared in her cheeks and she waved a bit at the person passing by.

"H-Hello." She said in a stifled voice and hiding the magazine behind herself.

The person in question completely ignored her, as they were too busy running through the rain. Yeah, no one liked to be out in the rain like her.

It was one of the few times that she could use to lose herself in her delusions without having to worry about anyone coming, though there was always an oddball or salaryman hurrying for their homes in this weather.

She sighed and decided to pick up the pace for her own house....

"Afte' THIS requiem." With a smile on her face, the girl put the rolled-up magazine near her mouth once again and took another deep breath.

This time, no one would interrupt her requiem of darkness.
What Gowi said.

I'm sure there's no harm on waiting a pair fo days more.
