Personality:
Kind and honest Jack grew up without any evil thoughts in his being as a kid. Obsessing over fictionous super heroes such as Superman and Flash he always believed in truth and helping those less capable than him. Unlike most mages he does not look down on others or underestimate people based on talent as a mage. Even though he does come from a good family of mages he has never let himself rely on only magic because he respects that there are other ways to do things. He views the Holy Grail War as a pitiful excuse to kill people. Thus his wish is to destroy the holy grail for good.
In battle Jack prefers the direct aproach. He is against sneak attacks and deception which puts him at odds with his servant. Partnered with the archer-class his servant specializes in a fighting style he dispises. This usually causes a rift in the team work between master and servant. However he holds faith that his servant has a good heart and is willing to back him up in battle and vice-versa.
Biography:
Jack grew up on the outskirts of London on a farm. His parents located out of town because they were mages and prefered to practice magic doing day-to-day activities. This caused a problem with the Mages Association thus they were forced to relocate where the modern world would not see them. However wood working and carpentry was not the specialty of Jack's father, William. Even though it pained his parents they had to rely on normal means to build a decent sided house to modern standards.
As Jack grew older he loved watching cartoons. His favorite ones included Superman and the Flash as a kid but he grew to like Batman and Green Arrow as he grew up. His facination with television seemed like an annoyance to his parents but to him they were a guildline to how a person should act. From a young age he developed a calling to do the right thing. His schoolmates often bullied him because he would stick up for the quiet kids or less fortunate ones. At age five his parents pulled him out of school because he accidently set a piece of paper on fire from a burst of anger.
Jack was home schooled until he was twelve. After being tutored in the basic educational resource as well as the family magecraft his parents had him apply to the Mage's Assocation's institution. Although he was only a fifth generation magus he showed dedication to improve his skills. He focused mostly on magical history and trained his elemental affinity before he dropped out of the school on his second year. He felt the attitude of the professors was less than noble towards. His parents think his attitude towards his professors was due to their sending him in at a young age.
Upon his sixteenth birthday he enlisted in the army. During his time he choose infantry as his military occupational specialty. He went in the military hoping to make a difference and to help people. His magecraft training did save him numerous times but it dreaded him that he had to kill any witnesses everytime he casted a spell. Soon he began to see how cruel war was and wondered if it could be changed. After doing much research from his old mage association classmates he was able to learn about the Holy Grail. Upon conviction and some extra self training he was marked as a master right after his eight year military contract ended. However he wasn't foolish enough to rely on the grail's power. He viewed it more as a motive to battle and thus is entering just to stop more fighting.
