Personality: Samuel comes off as a brutish young man. He is unpleasant to be around he tends to start fights frequently. In fact if he was born an only child he would probably be dead. It doesn’t matter whether he is talking to a person who deserves to be respected or someone who deserves to be insulted. He does not give any special treatment to anyone except his sister, Samantha.
In battle Samuel does change that much. The main difference is that he becomes more talkative and sociable when he is wielding a weapon. It may be that he is doing something that he enjoys but he tends to open up himself to those he battles. He still doesn’t make a whole lot of friends in battle because most of his comments do tend to be sarcastic and trash talking. Occasionally he uses sarcasm but it isn’t one of his most defined traits.
To his sister he acts a bit different. When he is alone with Samantha he does act gentle and almost kind. He realizes that his sister depends and looks up to him. When he is alone with his sister he almost acts like a respectable human being. That may be because she is blood or it may be because there is nothing he could gain from her.

Little is known about where Samuel and his sister originated from. Two years ago there was a small village on the border of Plegia. This village was so small that no one would know the name unless they had crossed through it. Shortly after the war this village had become over run with bandits. It came to the point where the bandits had the villagers enslaved to do whatever the bandits requested. These bandit ruled this small town for three solid months the group of bandits lost power. A young man of only seventeen years old slayed every single bandit.
For six months Samuel traveled with his younger sister from village to village killing every single bandit he came across for no real unexplained reason. That was until a young prince asked him why he fought. Samuel responded that he felt like it and nothing more. This prince saw him as a man with a good heart and begged him to be one of his sentries. Samuel agreed only if he could continue slaying bandits under the name of this prince and that his sister be well taken care of. With those conditions met he was trained by the castle guard. Although few men could hold up to him in a sword he had taken up a few other skills as well as raising a steed.
Even though he wore allegiance to a master he did not go out of his way to befriend anyone. His time in training could be seen as a required task opposed to the honor other hopeful sentries took it as. He took the tasks given to him in stride and eventually pasted the entry course to be named a warrior in the name of this kingdom. Sometime after he completed his training his sister had become a Pegasus Knight in the name of the prince. At his request when he was given duties to carry out by the kingdom his sister was the only travel companion he kept. On his most recent assignment Samantha and he were sent to attend a festival in Ylisse. Their objective was to see if it would be safe to send a noble from their kingdom or would a Plegian be slaughtered on the spot.

Samantha is an upbeat girl. There is barely anything in the world that can get this girl down. If fact there are some days where people have to get her to calm down because she acts so positive about life. She had a tendency to scream and shout whenever she wants to be heard.
Even though at first she seems completely different from her brother she does share his love for battle. When she gets into battle she has a tendency to get bored quickly when he is fighting someone who is easy. The more she gets hit in the battle causes Samantha to become bloodthirsty and savage in battle. This can cause a problem because she sometimes loses sight of her objectives as a Pegasus Knight when she enjoys battle too much. However it can get out of hand when she intentionally tries to get into a fight because a Pegasus Knight does wear a whole lot of armor so that her flying steed can maintain flight easily.

Considering how most Pegasus Knights were female she took to it easily because most women weren’t any more physically stronger than she was. Before long she was granted the authority to fight in the name of the crown. Upon her brothers request she was specially used to back up Samuel in combat from the air. On numerous occasions the two teamed up to vanquish bandits who dared to enter their territory. Now they were given a new assignment. Their kingdom was invited by the new ruler of Ylisse to a festival held in the name of peace. The king wasn’t sure if it was right to trust Ylisse yet so they sent Samantha and her brother to investigate.
