haaaaay thar fellow roleplay enthusiasts, name's greenfeather, but you can call me green, feather, useless deadbeat, whatever.
i've been writing as soon as i understood the concept of a story, so don't let my unfortunate newb status fool ya.
i also promise that i do in fact capitalize properly once i'm actually roleplaying.

must-knows >>>

★ my response times tend to be here-and-there; meaning, i could reply in two hours, two days, two weeks (at worst)... but i do try to let my rp buds know if writer's block is kickin' in or if i have an unfortunate family gathering i have to attend. i also have clinical depression and anxiety, which both hit me harder on some days than others. i'm not really asking for sympathy, just patience.

★ i can write male, female, mxf, mxm, fxf, romance, friendship, a giant animatronic fish, whatever. with that being said however...anthros aren't really my cup of tea, apologies. i also have a sliiight preference for mxf. i will also write multiples because sometimes it's fun to kill a character off for heartbreak and giggles.

★ i'd like someone with (as indicated in the title) high casual to advanced writing abilities. that doesn't necessarily mean purple prose, but i tend to lose interest if someone isn't really conjuring movie-like images in my head with their mastery of words. i will try my best to produce work of a similar quality for you.

★ i can reply with short posts, or i can reply with a novel. it depends on how much i have to work with and how much inspiration there is present in my head. so don't feel pressured to constrain yourself to a post legth requirement of any kind. just write what you can.

★ ooc chatter is always fun. i'd like to get to know you. feel free to talk to me about anything if you just need to rant/have a funny story/got a sick promotion/built a giant robot to combat monsters from the depths of unknown space. it's not like i have better things to do when not trying to be a real adult.

★ i'd much rather roleplay through pms.

★ don't have a conniption fit if i decide to drop a story. i will always do it in as polite a manner as possible, and i would much rather let you know than leave you hanging. and it's never anything personal.

★ i roleplay just about any genre with the exception of anime and animals. i favor gritty, dark themes and tons of violence, action, and our characters being thrown into situations of great peril. i will do "real life" tales, but it has to have unbelievably juicy drama (a murder, an affair, blah blah) to keep me even remotely interested. hence, my slim preference for more..."unrealistic" tales.

★ science fiction (i love military science fiction in particular, and also space fantasy)

★ urban fantasy/supernatural/paranormal
★ post-apocalyptic wasteland/post-apocalyptic dystopia
★ apocalyptic (as in the world is in chaos right now and our heroes have to survive some extinction-level event)
★ crime (police procedurals and investigatory forensics are life)
★ horror (space horror, survival horror, monsters from another dimension, etc)
★ cyberpunk

basic ideas >>>

ok so these ideas are rough. i'll describe them in one to a few quick sentences, and if you're interested in a particular idea we could discuss it further over pms. these ideas will also be periodically updated to reflect any new additions.

if nothing catches your fancy but you still think we'd make rockin' writing buddies, shoot me some ideas of your own. or simply pick a genre/combination of genres and we'll work out an idea together.

★ humanitarian aid workers/volunteers in a war-torn, poverty-ridden country currently stricken by civil war. i would rather we made up our own country for this one, though we could definitely base it on an existing nation.

★ two agents working for an independent espionage company doing sneaky shit. alternatively, a modern or futuristic black ops squad tasked with top secret missions. alternatively again, a company offering assassins-for-hire.

★ a dark fantasy land ruled by mages, where non-mages are enslaved and subjected to awful things such as gladiatorial combat and experimentation. a caste system exists ranking those gifted with the most magical ability to the least. but unbeknownst to the magical elite, one of the slaves hasn't yet developed to their full potential, and could just be the one who would save this ailing kingdom from coming doom.

★ detectives investigate a brutal series of killings. this could be in a modern, or futuristic/cyberpunk/dystopian setting. future cops are always fun. remember, big brother's watching. alternatively we could have some sort of dystopian "peacekeepers" whose job it is to painfully end anyone suspected of plotting against the government (we could make it some v for vendetta or equilibrium-type stuff).

★ an alien object crashes to earth releasing a terrifying extraterrestrial virus.

★ humanity is at war with a cruel, advanced alien species. to combat them, the government of earth creates a new breed of supersoldier.

★ i play dungeon master to your chosen hero. basically i write out everything that happens, control most of the characters, and you get to take your main character through a bloody, dramatic, epic romp through an original fantasy universe (with hopefully a surprise plot twist at every corner). can be done in many settings/genres, but i'd really love to try this with someone.
