Current Memes aside, pineapples on pizza is ok actually. Being shat on for liking things different from other people gets old after a while.

There were crazy oracles as well, if she recalled correctly, but Lancer thought her Master simply had some bad experience with one and dropped the subject.

It was quite relaxing to just be walking down a street, as her Master unabashedly started talking to her, pointing out things that may seem unusual or interesting. Hmph! Who does she think Lancer was? But her Master seemed to enjoy herself, and her mind was taken off the war for the moment, so Lancer simply went along. Plus, she may have been lacking some knowledge of things in this world. Just a little. Maybe.

She wondered if this was ok for today. Tomorrow they would have to announce themselves to them who oversee this whole war. Lancer followed her into a clothing store, as Master insisted she be clothed properly should she ever need to go corporeal amongst the commoners. It was a good idea should she ever need to conceal herself amongst the crowd, but she wasn't really the kind to skulk around waiting for a back to stab. Lancer was swiftly overwhelmed by the large amount of clothes in the store however, and the large amount of designs there was. A few set her heart fluttering, like the one her Master insisted would look good on her.

There was an odd feeling suddenly, and Lancer turned around, straining her senses. There seemed to be the taste of... battle in the air.

"We should leave. Get back to the apartment - I think there are others near. "

Is it warded? Did you erect a barrier on the windows? Is there any alarm spells set up around the perimeter? If so, then we should be safe inside. It not, we should ward it quickly, lest an Archer shoot through the walls and evaporate you, Master. Lancer replied.

Lancer was already looking around for potential threats, ready to burst into tangibility and raise her weapon against the enemy.
"Ah, good day err... Sir Forneus, Sir Sinclair." She shook Arsenio's outstretched hand absent-mindedly. It was a state of mind she was almost always in when working with any machine, complete with a dreamy half smile and the habit of talking softly to the machine she was working on.

She didn't really notice that Arsenio remembered her name and all. After all, some people were like that and some just couldn't remember a name regardless of how many times they met the person.

"Also, jets? Hmm... I recall the Aegis has an MA mode. Perhaps you should try that out and see if it fits you. But please do not neglect to use its MS form. We worked hard on it after all. Now if you'll excuse me..."

With that she removed the dust cover from one of Duel's legs, pulling up a box of tools and parts to attach the sensors. Jet fighter, huh? Perhaps she should increase some of the acceleration, and decrease the power going to the PS armor a little. Then there was the problem with adjusting the controls to their reflexes. Jet fighters are said to have excellent reflexes, or so she heard. Realizing they might just be bored and trying to make conversation, she asked them as she worked.

"So what brings you two here?"
Plague Knight? Dont tell me... thats a Hero of concept, perhaps one of the Horseman of the apocalypse.
"Very well, Master. Surveying the land beforehand is a good tactic. Hmm hmm... As expected of the one who summoned me. And I must admit I am curious to see how this era had developed from mine."

"A lot has changed, and I've never been to this place before. It'd be nice to check out the city a bit."

The city was..... huge. Buildings that stretched up to the sky, these moving cars rushing through the streets. Had Lancer not been filled with knowledge of this era beforehand, she would have suspected sorcery or some sort of divine trick. That or she drank too much with....

She closed her eyes for a moment, remembering the past she was once in.

In any case, she was a bit impressed with most everything. Knowing about them was different to actually seeing them in person. If someone were to tell her in the past there would be moving boxes powered by the liquified remains of things long past dead, she'd slay them for lying, and just because she didn't like people spouting random things at her. There seemed to be a lot of food in this age; there were vendors selling hotdogs and the likes. Though, like the city she came from, there were traces of filth and poverty, if one were to look in the right place.

The streets they walked through certainly makes it seem the city was prospering; there were a lot of people walking about, people in shops selling all manner of goods, those people giving out free things, and those people holding those signs certainly seemed nice.

"'Repent for the end is near?' I see, so you have oracles in this age as well."
Will do, command.
Hotel Room - Summoning location.
Oh, it would seem she had been summoned by an innocent little dove. If this was still in her time, she would have taken her under her wing. But there was something that irritates her somehow...

"Oi..."

Lancer stepped closer to Michiko. With one fluid movement, Lancer raised Michiko from the bow, and raised her face to hers.

She then pinched Michiko's cheeks, pulling as she did so.

The resulting strange faces she could make was more than Lancer could stand, sending her laughing loudly.

"Master! Do not be so uptight. While it is perfectly understandable to worship me and feel awed by my great presence, doing so in the open will also inform someone that there is a magnificent Servant under your command. I request worshiping me like the great person I am be limited to only safe locations. Come! Let us meet this... Proctor."

With that, Lancer turned into spirit form, invisible, and intangible, but still ready for combat.

Lancer did not mention anything about her diminished capabilities however. It seems there wasn't a lot of prana channelling to her from her Master; Lancer will need to conserve and manage what she had. She didn't think it would even be possible to summon her greatest trump card at this time, not without draining a lot of prana from herself. But... she had no idea what sort of alternate ways she could gather prana with, aside from consuming the souls of others, and that was the one thing she will not, and will never do. Any Master who wishes so would have to use a Command Seal to force her to.

"Lead the way, Master. Err... Michiko." She spoke with a disembodied voice.
The void was all encompassing; silent and dark. She had been here for so long, remembering her mistakes, her achievements....

..her death.

A sweet voice came to her ears, shaky, and somehow... fearful.

The room suddenly filled with light, swirling into the center of the circle.

Without warning, it exploded outwards in a bright burst of color, revealing a kneeling figure in the circle. Lancer, as that seemed to be the mold she was summoned in, was still clad in resplendent armor, with sword and shield on her left side.

"So... I have been summoned once more." She stood up confidently, staring down at the summoner. So young; did she ever hold a sword before? There was no need to confirm who her Master was; it was simply obvious who she was drawing power from, however meager it may be, and there was just one person here in this room gawking at her splendor.

"REJOICE! For you have summoned ME! A magnificent, and POWERFUL warrior! There is NONE that I cannot defeat, and there is NONE that can defeat me! For I am the Unconquered! The undefeated! The one who had stood their grounds against many! Not even the GODS could help ANY warrior defeat ME!"

She flicked a hand through her hair, looking thoroughly pleased with herself.

"Hmm, normally I would give you my name, but there can be no telling what sort of dishonorable rat might be listening. Lancer... Lancer would do fine." With that she gave an expectant look towards her Master. "If you like, you may tell me your name. Or do you prefer to be called Master?"
