Genetic Type: Coordinator

Personality: Friendly to most, and with a very motherly aura about her, it is quite easy to feel comfortable around her. While she hardly ever gets angry, when she does she shuts herself away and avoids whoever or whatever it was that made her angry, even to the extent of avoiding talk about it. When it comes to machines, any sort of machines, Milya becomes much more animated, seemingly able to talk for literally hours without stopping. Her skill at observation honed through her craft can sometimes give her insight to people, though she would usually blurt it out a few moments later.

History: Born as a Coordinator in ORB, and thus was protected from discrimination, she grew up in a relatively noisy household with seven other siblings. As thus, she became the well mannered one, helping out whenever she can. Thus leading to her helping her father fix up his car. It was a pile of junk, and her mother and other siblings never saw it as anything but. At first that what she did too, but as the years passed, she saw the pile of junk gradually take shape into something more, until it became a sleek looking custom mobile anyone would be proud to own by the time she was 17. By that time she herself was already pulled into the world of machines, and took steps to further expand her knowledge on them.

All her work payed off in the end, landing a contract in a testing base just off ORB's borders. Milya was rather irked when she found out she was working with MSes instead of more ordinary machines, but soon got over it and reveled in the feeling of completion whenever something she had worked on operated without a hitch. Soon she became the head technician for that testing base, something she had only ever dared to dream about. Fate played a different hand however, for one day, a pilot that was supposed to showcase the then new MS base model called in sick.

None of the other techies dared go near the MS, so Milya took it herself and piloted the MS to the testing ground, running all the scheduled tests for most of that week, excluding one day when the pilot finally got better. The higher ups seemed relatively pleased about the MS's performance, and nothing more was heard from them for several months as they were developing the MS. Then right out of the blue she was given a letter offering her transfer to another station, with the added title of pilot, though she would be starting over as an assistant technician. She had no idea what she did to get it until she read another smaller less formal looking letter from one of the top brass that saw her piloting the MS. Knowing how far one can push one's machine, what sort of quirks is in it, and analyzing another target in the battle field under duress was all traits the higher ups observed in her and thus made recommendations she was to be transferred to a more military role. The title pilot did not strike her as odd at the time, as the wages offered were much more than she could make at the base. After saying her goodbyes and tying up loose ends in the testing base, she finally transferred to a better station, where she assumed she would be working with bigger and better MSes.

Working, maintaining, and optimizing a machine, only to pilot it later and see how much more efficient she can make it work.

That kind of feeling was not something she'd forget.

"Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel Anti Air CIWS

Mounted in the Strike's head are two "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS guns. These light projectile weapons are used to intercept missiles and to destroy lightly armored vehicles, although it is classified as Anti Air.

"Armor Schneider" Combat Knife

Stored in the Strike's hips are a pair of folding "Armor Schneider" combat knives. These knives do not need power from the suit, can be thrown, and their blades vibrate at high speed allowing them to pierce through most armor except PS armor.

57mm High-energy Beam Rifle

An optional armament, the beam rifle can be stored on the side skirt. This is the primary ranged combat weapon and can easily destroy a ZGMF-1017 GINN with one shot, but is mostly ineffective against suits with anti-beam coating. It has an additional handle that can shift to the side, and is often used for extra stability when the Strike is firing its rifle rapidly.

Bazooka

The bazooka is an optional heavy assault weapon based upon the standard bazooka design of firing explosive shells. Because it is a conventional weapon, the bazooka does not draw power from the Strike's battery and this results in extended combat endurance. Another advantage is that the bazooka can be used underwater, unlike a beam rifle. To increase firepower the bazooka loads four cartridges of ammo. The disadvantage is that its greater size and weight makes it somewhat less mobile then the beam rifle. In Gundam SEED RE: the Bazooka had an alternate Shrapnel munition that could be used also.

Shield

The shield is an optional piece of handheld equipment designed to increase the Strike's defensive capability. The shield does not have phase shift armor, so it is not as durable as the Strike's armor, however it also does not drain energy each time it is hit. The shield's major advantage is that it is anti-beam coated and can block or deflect beam weapon attacks, against which phase shift armor is ineffective.

XM404 "Grand Slam" Anti-Ship Sword

A large sword developed by the ZAFT, but used by the Strike to take down enemy mobile suits. Seen only in episode 08 of Gundam Evolve.
