I agree. The battle of elves against everything hero in Sortarius good example of how faction confrontations raise activity. This will also allow characters on the same side to actualy know each other, forming teams and tandems within the factions.I say that we introduce Chaos. A WH40 chaos-esque faction with aetheric demons that strive to control the mortal realm, overthrowing their rival, the Angar-Rylla, being just one of the bigger gears in the whole mechanism of their scheme. Such a faction will both allow for a wide diversity of various characters and may represent the fantasy side of this multiverse; plus, we get to justify bashing each other by "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD", instead of more complex matters.

Mhmm, though in terms of chaos I'm wary of obviously evil factions, since I like the idea of evil being from the eyes of the beholder. For example how Ceaser used propaganda to make the Gauls look like the villains, even though he was clearly the invader. Though if people like the idea of joining a openly 'evil' faction, it should work anyway.
So this useless talk about vibration aids done? :K

Alright seeing as SKalla will be on his hiatus for some time, I think we should probably work on the multiverse story itself. Get some context for why characters would engage each other and generally give people something to do. Since it has got to the point every one has no idea what they should do, so start talking about theoretical weapons. I mean I assume that's why most of the characters already accepted have yet to do anything.

I've actually been thinking of going full spectrum and have three factions vying for control of the nexus for their own reasons. It was kind of what I suggested before to Skalla, though he seemed to have only gone with making one. So in order to generate more conflict and chance of interaction between players, I think a max of three archetypical factions might be the best option. Ones largely flexible enough in ideals that every character can find one that meshes well with their goals.

We already have a heavily law/paladins/space police regime in the Angar-Rylla. Not sure yet what the other two could be, but it should still remain that character interaction is the main focus, factions themselves merely a means to that end. Interaction between other faction members need not always be violent, but at least it will give players a believable reason to bash each others heads in rather then some vague reason like "I don't like the cut of his jib."

So thoughts on this idea? Ways we could expand it? Or do you think wandering cluster we have no is fine? And if so why? Or maybe you have some other better idea's. Give me your brain matter on this topic. :K

I mean thoughts.

I'm just noting that he's tried to cut Khold's brain out. That's not particularly alive in my book.

You have little faith in Biddz I see.
"You cling to antique old weapons of a bygone age, take away your blades and you can do nothing."

"But as long as I have them, I can do anything."

Khazna had been waiting for his enemy to intercept him, never entertaining the notion his foe would allow him within striking range. So when his opponents defense constructed itself in the form of a bowl like formation of ice; he was ready. Speeding through the air of course meant Khazna could not easily avoid the obstruction, be he didn't have to. Tablurath's preternatural sight noted immediately when the threads of energy circulating the system inside his opponents body were stimulated. It was the briefest of warnings, but it was ample enough warning for Tablurath. As the ice formed, a black mist swept a path before the Cardinal, made up of countless nanobots. A flash of movement of Serenity's razor sharp blade later saw another exact duplicate of that same sword suddenly appear instantly constructed by the machines.

The momentum of the cut sent the newly forged blade spinning end over end toward the ice bowl just as it come into shape. Such was Tablurath's combat perception that once he had seen the coming danger his mind formed a perfect counter faster than any normal human mind would have been able to comprehend or achieve. Just moments before the nanobot forged blade spun hard and fast into the bowl and piercing it partway from its momentum, Tablurath noted that his opponent had drawn out his energy from the ice construct for whatever reason. Arriving a heartbeat behind the sword turned makeshift platform, Tablurath landed the flat of his left foot on it's pommel. Normally Tablurath possessed the ability to completely arrest his inertia, such was his control over his high speed movements and why his bones did not merely shatter from the intense speed. But as he landed behind the blade, he sent all his gathered energy directly into it's halt.

The effect sent such force through the ice as to create countless fissures to appear like a web of cracks from the point where the sword impaled it. The bowl still managed to hold shape for the most part though. Rising his left foot he sent his right leg down on the blades pommel at the same instant with a burst of speed and strength that resulted in freight-train force. The effort effectively launched Tablurath backward through the air, yet it had a profound effect on the blade as well, as the blow shot it away from him in the opposite direction. The makeshift platform turned missile blasted through the ice barrier with the speed and strength of ballista bolt straight toward Khold. Tablrauth had been aiming more to his left in order to pierce his spine as well, but instead the blade would pierce directly through the man’s lower left abdomen, cutting through his left kidney with enough force to break bone and pin him to the ice platforms surface at his feet.

Khazna for his part rocketed backward flipping through the air before colliding with a giant strand of prettified web, his knees bending under the force of the landing and grunting with the effort. It left both his feet sore but no worse for ware, and gave him an instant to take in the other man’s reaction. Considering the quick response, in the realm of a second, speed of the sword replica, and near point blank distance it had to travel. The chances of Khold avoiding it seemed unlikely at best. Not to mention he was already in the midst of forging a spear, shifting to a shield seemed unlikely. It didn't help that the sword clone still possessed all the resistances and potencies to the elements its true counterpart did.

Khold might have tried to repair the ice beforehand, but he had since stripped it of any energy he might have used to further manipulate it. If nothing else, Tablurath would learn if Khold possessed inhuman perception and accelerated thought that would put his to shame, which seemed vastly more unlikely. Still anything was possible, so moments after landing Tablurath was already moving, running full circle around the spider thread, moving fast enough to momentarily defy gravity, running across its length until he was atop it, his blades both singing as they spun increasingly faster.

(Sidenote: It would effect ascension rate, which is what he was doing)
Good thing Khazna is aiming to take Khold foot alive. Far to dangerous to bring him anywhere conscious.

He means in order. I don't think he read your question right. It's Green's post next, then mine, then Khan's, then LeeRoy's, then yours. Also, I think it's kind of funny how half the people in the room think the guy wearing no armor and carrying no visible weapons is the most dangerous... Lol.

That or he's the craziest luckiest bastard ever.
