Indeed, I never said I was beyond the grenades range anyway. Or that it would not effect me at least.

He was already aiming at her, and it takes significantly less time to move your arm then run across a room.Exploding the grenade was instantaneous on entering the pipe, which is also when your character began to run, so unimportant.Transforming the grenade is nearly instantaneous, throwing a grenade takes a minuscule amount of time, my character calculated your movements on the run and threw to where you ended up, I'm not really sure where your character had time to stop and observe to the point where she knew his grenade was being prepared, and I especially don't know how she finished her run, and then fired a crossbow, before the grenade was anywhere near her.

I never said she ran across the room...

Turning and shooting wouldn't take much time for someone who can dodge automatic fire and throwing something is pretty obvious, plus her auto-targeting works at the speed of thought.

Your character is doing a lot of things here at once, when exactly did she have time to take note of his grenade, finish running, aim a crossbow and fire it before the grenade covered like what was it? 20 feet?

In the same time it took him to blow up previous grenade, take aim at her, judge the distance, transform his other grenade, then throw it. :K
There has been very few fantasy RP's about with this kind of time line setting. So you have my interest for sure. (I'm assuming late 14th century medieval France?)

If I don't get it, I will be inconceivably angry. Not because I'll still be out of a job, because I've already shaved. It'll take months to grow back my glorious beard, and if I get the job I'll have to KEEP it shaved. But I'm doing it for the money, once I get the money I'll just buy a beard net. But until then I'm shaved.God I am mad.

How glories was this bread, I remember my friend had to do the same thing with his bread, and he had one that would put bikers and tree loggers to complete shame. Probably the greatest bread ever seen on earth. (it was kind of absurd.)

I have always wanted to try it just as a neat concept to me.

That's the exact same thing they said.
Already on the move Shenestra heard the explosion from the grenades detonation, which created a blinding light. She continued to run full speed but the construct did not fire on her as she had expected. Instead seeming to train on her movements. Suddenly his grenade popped open changing in shape to that of a circular blade. Shenestra already didn't like the look of it, the construct in turn wasted little time in throw the device. Having reached the angle she needed on his once far left Shenestra responded with her own volley as she spun on her heels turning in his direction ending in a slight crouch. She swept her left gauntlet over her wrist-crossbow, arming it with the gathered nether thus far. Her auto-sensors and artificially boosted marksmanship allowing her to near instantly lock onto her target. The crossbow accelerated the stored nether into a bolt of pure crackling violet energy which now hurtled toward the construct.

The bolt was aligned with the strange grenades course, if it did not weave around the bolt of energy, the chaotic force of nether would reduce the device to dust and ash as the molecules broke down, unless it was avoided entirely. In either cause it would be hurtling toward the construct. The moment the bolt fired Shenestra activated her sprint-pack which turbines had been whining this entire time, launching herself north-eastward instantly. However the moment she passed behind a pillar, she would seem to competently vanish once more. Activating with a simple thought her wraith gate an instant after changing direction with another burst from her sprint-pack while out of sight.

Such a maneuver was aimed solely at catching the construct off guard, thus allowing Shenestra to reposition herself in a more favorable condition. Having already seen the destruction from the first grenade she had a far better idea on the safe distance of the weapon making sure to keep well out of way from its kill-zone. Should the bolt hit the construct, the force was easily enough to melt away metal to ash, as well as knocking him off his feet with the force of a heavy artillery shell.
Well good luck Lee.

In the mean time we wait...

It is where you do not go past level 6, every 5k exp past 6 you get an ability point or a a feat and quickly acquire epic feats. The idea for this is in part to keep casters from being world shattering.Always good to have someone new, are you willing to try anything else or just want to learn D&D first before anything else?

Oh ya, I remember that from my last group.

Always seemed unnecessary to me.
