Not sure, I'm waiting for Skalla too, though my question was mostly addressing rather or not it was an energy weapon, used chemical propulsion, or rounds electromagnetically accelerated.

I think that's a pretty important detail.

You could probably fix that by setting a cool down time, or even having to reach a certain amount of perps before being able to create a wormhole. Mix that in with a number of uses and it should be fine.

Not that range weapons are not useful, but I wouldn't relay on them.

In any case I always prefer rule of cool over effective killing machines.

Else I'd just use warhammer 40K titans and call it a day.

Now that would be boring.
