Any spots available?

The Empire are still taking recruits/mercenaries.
Just so your aware, the systems of the tower are powered by Nether, which is a type of negative (the same I keep using in every omniverse and tournament) that feeds off of positive energy to sustain itself. Based of the undead need to feed on life force to sustain themselves. Fairly fascinating form of power actually, for as long as there is energy in the environment, like the thermal energy produced from the surrounding environment, whatever it powers will never run dry.

Anyway, it just means that more then twice the energy would need to be used to control whatever it powers before the energy manipulating it just feed the nether and vanishes. Like a tower of very hungry Void. Unless it was clerical energy of course. Which I suppose would do to whatever is powered by negative energy the same it does to normal undead. Probably just destroy it.

Uh, Superman has to restrict his powers -all- the -damn- time, because he can't be a superhero and murder innocents or let them die. Pretty obvious weakness bro.

We'll just ignore the fact GF destroyed more of the city then you did.

The Clockwork Man is only real intermediate-high because of a few select abilities, General Freedom has always been everyone's greatest fear, because he seems so physically powerful, everyone forgets all the limitations Superman has which General Freedom shares, without the insane strength.

Lol, what? Limitations? Superman? You smokin somthin?

Unless your talking about his sensitivity to loud noises (which all but vanished when he learned to focus) he has none, zero, he eventually becomes a damn god. (and we wont even get into his kryptonite weaknesses, which always fluctuated in effectiveness depending on the writer and his mood)

In fact he was so OP, they have since had to seriously nerf him in the most recent reboot, and even that superman is still hella ridiculous.

Luckily General Freedom is nowhere near superman's OP mary sue level of power.

Now that I've been here a bit and seen what most high-tier characters are capable of, I'm starting to doubt that Arty's armor actually puts him in that same class. Anyone want to weigh in on whether his armor could be reconsidered for high-level intermediate (similar to clockwork man)? The fact that General Freedom is also Intermediate REALLY makes me wonder...

I've always felt he was more intermediate, though looking at him again, I'd say on the old tier system he would have been around tier 6. So more or less one level away from high.

The tier system though was never perfect, and now that they have combined into three levels, are even more unbalanced overall.

Just in case anyone's curious, I based my assumptions about nether and aether in that last post on them being alternate terms for Skallagrim's description of galdhr and seidhr. Which would be why Arty can't sense undead, because they'd be powered by galdhr (nether) while he's powered by seidhr (aether).I'm also assuming that we're two floors below the Mystan elder (I think that's where Melon put us...) and that it's just undead guards on the next floor up. And that the elder isn't directly above us, since twenty meters is about sixty five feet.

Your probably the only other person here well versed in undeath. :P

There's undead guards in the hall on the floor clockman broke into and probably a few on the next one.

Ooh, before I forget... IN, how high up on the wall are the torches, and how heavy are they? (i.e. could Jeremy go grab one?)

Those things usually weigh at most 1 lb.

Probably are not any higher then 4'5 feet off ground roughly.

So, it's a low enough sweep to clear all the rubble on the ground in front of Snoreghoul, right?

Pretty much, with pincers open.
