Ah yes the good ol days...were I died in the first round -_-x. But that's in the past and looking for something to do. Something to help me clean the rust with.

You can always join the Nexus Omni, and we can go back to what we did every night.

Try to take over the multiverse!

Hey Kahn, long time no see :3. Also anything could happen as long as the laws of basic physics are in order

I now feel better with Bush here, reminds me of the good old days of the other Omniverses.

Also by empire I mean the Angar-Rylla, the main faction who seeks to control the nexus to spread law and order throughout the lawless expanse that is the Multiverse.

You guys have interesting conversations, so much so that it's actually worth it to pay attention to the OOC, which I usually don't do regularly xDIt's funny because while ya'll are debating this stuff I'm sitting here trying to figure out what kind of characters to make.

Whoever it is be sure to join the Empire. :P

The Cyclops is the Scott Summers in my sig. And an Asha'man is one of these ->

Oh, seeing how based he is on the canon one I'd for an original character based on Asha'man, SKalla (or perhaps just most in the arena) dislikes canon characters based on other sources.

Aww poo, I was itching for a fight. I had so many ideas that were wasted >.< should have came back sooner.

And another familiar face I remember.

I'm fairly certain Arty's swords, at least when wielded by himself, would stand a decent chance of piercing armor. Monomolecular edge and all that... Plus the 20 tons of strength behind them when he's got his armor on. He's also got guns (with depleted uranium bullets), but thus far hasn't used them because he can't get any more ammo if he runs out. And speaking of sorcery, if everyone decides not to raise the strength limits I'll probably go with an Asha'man character from the WoT for my first high tier. That or a revamped version of my Noir Cyclops. Thoughts?

I keep reading that as L.A Noire, but i have no idea what this Asha'man character is like, and only vaguely understand that this cyclops is based on the marvel version.

I'd rather read about a US or German soldier caught in the Battle of Bulge than about some wizard mowing her way through a horde of Tolkien-style mook orks. In order to fully take in the story potential behind firearms, you need to write more about what the user is feeling while under fire or when they're the one doing the shooting. Appropriate portrayals of modern warfare can be just as engaging, if not more so, than your run-of-the-mill fantasy story. I see this more with people who don't use firearms, honestly.

If your interested more in gun fights, which I too enjoy, especially the Stony Man series. That's understandable, but to say the story and writing of one is superior to the other cause reasons, is quite silly really. It's easy to make board statements without any truth to it before one eventually start believing their own exaggerated lies.

Cause yo, all Anime is about giant bewbs and never have any good writing ever.

Hmm, that's because it was a more fantasy orientated Omniverse, I prefer it personally. Swords and sorcery is a lot more interesting than 'I pull the trigger of my Uzi lolololol.'Frankly, it seems like people interested in those sorts of weapons are only interested in winning, but each to their own.

Says the first person to enter with a gun.

Albeit a weird kind of gun.

(I did also come to the gun=possible winner conclusion though from what I have seen, ppl who like melee weapons tend to like overly flashy interactive combat, I.E Rule of Cool)
