I second that plan, I would prefer Mundhir's men.
Yeah, the wrecking ball has wrecked my plans. There is no way I'll be able to introduce a character in the midst of this, so I'll hold off until the group is settled down somewhere.
"Instead of 20-30 men" ?

There were only supposed to be two :p
Steel Fist, I was planning on taking down those guards.
Finished reading the IC, I'll make my post later tonight hopefully. If not, then in the morning tomorrow. My work is best in the morning.

Edit: What time is it in the IC?

Lol, sort of.
Though the irony is not lost upon me.
It isn't her actual name, her real name is much more complex and elaborate [yay fantasy lore] but for reference sake and simplicity, I shortened it into a sort of "nickname" moniker. Her real name will come about soon enough but, I dreaded having to type it out.

And I couldn't bring myself to change it either, for some reason, once I figured her character in my head - it just stuck.

Also, welcome and good to have another assassin type [maybe], I like the different concept though.

Thanks, I am looking forward to this, and yes she is an assassin type.

I am almost finished reading the IC, I'm on page 3.

Accepted.

We'll be breaking our way out of the dungeon soon. The exit will be a mile or so from Eblistan's walls, hidden by a rock collection. The guards outside will be likely un-expecting an assault, and will just be milling around doing bored guards stuff, to put it poetically. Perhaps you could give them something to do? Or silence them altogether.

You may meet us there if you wish, or further along our path. I'll PM you some stuff that your character would know about Mundhir, and his men over in Baalor. That'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, as a Talon she would be aware of almost every entrance and exit to the Citadel.
Is Kylmi pronounced Kill Me? It would be ironic, considering the first post.
Character Name: Sitara Kalyani (Alias)

Species: Human

Species description: N/A

Gender: Female

Noteworthy Abilities / Limitations:
  • Stealth Expertise: Sitara was trained from a young age to blend into the shadow, and though her abilities are best employed at night she is equally effective during the day. She specializes in tailing targets.

  • Elite Training: Sitara excels at close-quarters combat. She uses a combination of knives, short swords, and martial arts to eliminate threats to her charge. However, she also keeps a small hand crossbow with toxic bolts.

  • Spell Claw: Sitara is equipped with an artifact known as a Spell Claw. It is capable of destabilizing arcane energies on contact, causing mana burn in enemy mages. It can also be used to break minor buffs and enchantments, but structured energies are much more volatile and this can be particularly dangerous.

  • Levitation: All Assassins of her order are trained in minor levitation magic, to descend and ascend from rooftops quickly and quietly. Some of them learn more stealth magic progressively, but Sitara is not fond of spells.

  • Background:
When she was born, Sitara's parents were poor and could not afford to feed her. Rather than smother their child or see her die of hunger, however, they chose to sell her to Ebli's Talon for a good sum of money. Ebli's Talon, abbreviated as Talon, was founded by an unknown and paranoid descendant of Ebli Khan to serve as a secret order of counter assassins. These assassins were recruited at birth, and trained to be fanatically loyal to their assigned charge. Many times upon having failed, they follow their charge to the grave during some attempt at vengeance. It is driven into their head that they serve no purpose beyond protecting whoever they are assigned to.

When the Ebli dynasty ended and the Sadek Caliphate began, the entire Talon was nearly eliminated. However, some members of the Caliphate saw the need for their protection and, though they no longer protected the descendants of Ebli Khan, they continued on in service to the Sadek Dynasty. At the completion of her basic training, six years ago at the age of eighteen, Sitara was assigned to protect the Prince Mundhir Sadek from all worldly threats. Given his chivalrous nature he has yet to call upon her services as an assassin, and that only increases her respect and loyalty to the Prince, however, she has in several cases operated discreetly and without his knowledge in eliminating threats to Mundhir.

It was during such an excursion in which she had received information about a potential spy that the Prince was attacked, and she has been ashamed of herself for being led away so easily ever since. Now she has traveled to Eblistan to infiltrate the dungeons and free her charge.

@Syrian, you mind if I send you a PM about a potential character? I haven't read the full IC yet, so it may not fit.
