It's sad to see you go, but RL comes first.
My next post, which is already partially started, will begin the coronation. I'll have breakfast and set to work on it again.
@Bing, b-b-but...I thought Last of the Wilds by Nightwish was the theme song?
And this is the internet, by the rules I've chosen to adhere to for this RP none of us actually matter.
I just want you to take a look around, we may not be as fast as Free RP but we outstrip all of the competition in casual at the moment. Even if we don't maintain this pace, there are RPs 6 days or even two weeks old which have half as many IC posts that we do. That's all I'm trying to say, I started an RP to move at a casual pace with casual people. This is an attempt at relaxation for me, whereas the behemoth RPs I've constructed in the past have been much less enjoyable than the work load.

It's not like anything I think matters anyway.

Really? That's how you're going to be?

You insulted the speed of what is currently the fastest moving casual RP and when it irritates me you're surprised.

The last two months counts as July and August right now. I'm speaking digitally, not colloquially. The two days also tell me that we've only seen most of the weekend activity so far but little of the weekday activity from Monday through Thursday.

Regardless, I don't like the broad assumption that our IC is 'terribly slow' with only two days to serve as a frame of reference.

Nor do I appreciate the large generalization that we're indicative of the behavior of the entire casual section. A quick glance around can show you that we are not.

You're forgetting that the two months is also concurrent with the start of both grade school and college in the United States. It's not a flat rate, it's an exponential curve of consistent activity to dwindling activity.

The last two months have been summer vacation, so are you suggesting our speed is going to slow down now that school is starting? If so how does that relate to the proportional speed between both ICs, as it will work both ways? I'm apparently not understanding you, but It's hard for you to make assumptions based on the limited pool of evidence that two days provides.

It's only two months old by now. It moves at a much faster pace than this one, likely because everyone in it is able to check frequently between other things and at least get in four or five posts in a few daily bursts. But I don't know about this one. It's helped me learn one thing though: 'Man, the casual board people really like to talk, but the IC is terribly slow.'

You're looking at the math right?

IC: 869 (posts)/60 (days) = 14 p/d

IC: 41 (posts)/2 (days) = 20 p/d
Well orders of their nature have a habit of expanding their power and authority. It's too bad they're bogged down with you, it looks like Pathfinder is going to get into a tustle with some over zealous inquisitors. He might just take out a major antagonist early.

On that note, I'll head to bed. I'll make a post (at least) beginning the coronation tomorrow.
