She wasn't actually surprised that they were confused at her actions, but it was all she could do before the Lifestream would kill her off. Even if she avoided using the Lifestream, Kaika would still die as that impalement through her chest earlier was fated to kill her. Though, maybe she was getting a little desperate to the point where she was thinking that she could do this on her own, but with the help of the others...maybe she can pull this off before her eventual death. Not that she had actually mentioned what the Lifestream does to her to the others as of yet.

"Miki...are you ready?" Kaika said solemnly as she tossed over the light blade to the now present Elder Spirit. "Of course, Kaika. I will follow your lead, and wish you the best," the spirit says upon taking the blade. "That's something to hear from you, especially near the end," Kaika sighed, but held the Wing of Lucem blade tightly. Upon the moment that Yasu was open for the finishing move from the overwhelming chain of attacks prior to this, both Kaika and Miki ran towards him. "Just like we practiced," Miki said with a slight smile, breaking a bit away from her emotionless self. In that instant, they began to slash at Yasu back and forward in an alternative manner, like they were playing a game of ping-pong. Then, Miki delivers the last of the back and forth slashing, and uses the light blade to create many more lances of light, pinning Yasu to the ground as Kaika goes up into the air, the Wing of Lucem being charged with the very last but powerful bits of her power.
No more going back... Kaika thought to herself as she got the A-okay signal from Miki. It all happened so fast, but Kaika had fell down to the ground and brought down a very very intense purifying light from the largest energy wave she could create from her blade. As the smoke and dust settled from the final hit, the others would see that Kaika stood over Yasu, whose essence wasn't destroyed but was too weak to exist in the Living World. That would mean that Yasu was also forced back into the After World, just like Alius, having to stay in dormancy until a thousands years worth of restoration was done.
BGM - Dearly Beloved
It was finally over, Sota was back, she could tell that his soul was left unharmed during the entire fight. Kaika gave a light smile as she kneeled down next to her boyfriend, and also gave a reassuring thumbs-up to the others. "Hey, Sota-kun...wake up," Kaika said gently, shaking him a bit to see if he would wake up. It was only a few seconds that it took for him to wake up, groggily seeing Kaika looking over him. "Is...is it over?..." Sota weakly said, sitting up as he was starting to get used to being in control of his own body again. Before Kaika would respond, she cringed a bit as the Lifestream form was starting to wear off, the sudden feeling of her soul being wasted away. Slowly, she took out her own Spirit Shard to see that the flame that resembled her soul was becoming dimmer and dimmer, and soon it wouldn't be there anymore. "Kaika...don't tell me...you..." Sota looked over and started to realize what Kaika did to bring him back, a wave of fear and sorrow starting to wash over him. "I'm sorry...I was too reckless..." she cried a bit, a single tear going down her cheek, but she added,"But...I want you...to live on..." Now losing the strength to even keep herself up, she was about to tumble over, but Sota caught her in his arms. "No....no...you can't be serious, what about the others?" Sota was starting to talk frantically, but was interrupted by a sudden kiss from Kaika. As they shared a kiss, Kaika had managed to at least break a single piece of her soul and send it away, in hopes that she could at least make a reincarnation of herself. In a few moments, Kaika's body had fully exited the Lifestream mode, and that meant that her soul was completely gone now. Kaika's physical form just a lifeless body now, she slumped over in Sota's arms, her grip on her Spirit Shard loosened, the Spirit Shard falling to the ground with no flame, and shattering apart into millions of tiny pieces.
"Kaika?...no, Kaika! Don't go!...Not now!" Sota couldn't believe it, that Kaika had just died. In despair, he held onto Kaika's body in a tight hug, that it all happened too soon. What no one knew...was that Kaika had successfully created a reincarnation before her death, that her reincarnation would find it's way to this world when it became the same age as Kaika. Problem was...this reincarnation was not entirely like Kaika at all, but a completely different person, personality, and overall appearance, all with the same kind of soul Kaika was born with.

Apparently Kaika's dream was an exact memory of Eren's, where Wall Maria fell to the Titans.

For a moment, Kaika was going to ask about his clothing, but decided not to anyways. It wasn't that much out of place, people wouldn't really bat an eye at him so it was fine. "Alright, luckily the school isn't too far, we can walk it, or maybe run it if we need to," Kaika says as she gets her backpack that was sitting on the ground. "Here, you're going to need this. We both have the same classes, so I'll be around to help," Kaika tossed over another backpack to Eren, which would contain some notebooks and basic supplies for the classes. With that taken care of, she headed for the front door, exiting the house.
"Huh?...I was just worried..." Takahisa blinked as he woke up to hear that Armin was awake.

"Oh, you're up, that's good, because we're going to be late," Kaika says as she tries to get her hair tied into those two long ponytails, which doesn't really help much since her hair was that long for some reason. "C'mon!" Kaika said before running downstairs.

As much as Takahisa wanted to sleep, he just couldn't. The fears of the past, the deeds that made him the way he was now, it was haunting him that much. Was he really achieving that long and dreamless promise that he made to his brother during his final moments? He wasn't so sure, which he was why he was so unsure about himself as a person. Thus, he couldn't sleep. Takahisa just laid awake in bed, staring at the ceiling. That was when he could hear Armin, who was asleep but seemed to have nightmares. At least he could understand what kind of pain Armin has if they both have nightmares. Quietly, Takahisa slipped out of the bed and got close to Armin, lying down on the couch with him.
As they continued to sprint away from the archers, leaping over to the next building to proceed with their escape, Eren would start having a strange dizzy feeling. "Hey, what are you doing? We need to keep on going," Kaika blinked as she started to see that he was lagging some distance behind her. Even if he tried to keep on going after er, he was suddenly spacing out of this strange dream, and soon he would awake at the room Kaika had showed him to the night before. It was now morning.
