Battler wasn't so familiar with this city, but knew that all of the electricity were not traps as Alex had assumed they were. Though, he wasn't that type of person to correct people anymore. He only watched the group as well as their surroundings.

Erika only listened, absorbing all of that information before speaking. "Yes, that is the definition of a closed room. The doors and windows were never opened, no signs of anyone to enter. Sure, the fire may had destroyed evidence, but if it were the case, it would be still somewhat noticeable. Normally I would rule out the "impossible" for these kinds of murders, but considering the situation we're in...it could be a possibility. Someone or something able to play out these murders without even being there," Erika crosses her arms in intense thought. Seeming to multitask once more, she takes out the strange Epitaph of the Witch and reads it over a second time.

Niv reached an empty alleyway, not seeing anything out of place but a boiler left burning and small pools of blood on the concrete floor. "Well, this is definitely it," he says in disgust, taking a closer look for anything else noteworthy.

"Same here. Had to beat up some demon clown baddie to save my world. I'll go check, I can handle mself anyways," Niv says as he heads over to where the scream came from.

Battler smiled, this girl sounded like a fellow ally he had made in the past. "Well, I don't seem to know you, our meanings of "sorcerer" might be different, but it's a pleasure to meet you Lina," he says, not knowing her but greets her politely. Certainly he and Beaton have not discovered the "gameboard" that Lina comes from.
