Being trolled assumes we didn't realise the potential for it to be a troll. I think most people here probably had the thought cross their mind, and decided to just roll with it anyway and assume it was legitimate.

Same. Kind of makes more sense that a Catholic school would be private, I think, since public schools are funded by taxes, and you'd think people would get uppity about their tax money going towards an establishment built on a religion they may or may not support.

This is sort of what I was thinking. Separation of church and state and all that. Maybe that's why Nex's experience with Catholic school wasn't all that religious or any such thing.

Really? That's... actually pretty interesting. What are the marked differences? I would have assumed most Canadian schools were pretty big on social liberalism, hippie-dom, and overwhelmingly mild politeness, after all.
