I think that's a pretty cool idea... I don't know many horror flash games off of the top of my head, though. "The Carveola Incident" (not sure if that's spelt right) is a wee bit creepy when thread music is on, but is really just a wave shooter. Onemorelevel.com is an excellent site for searching.
It was like gaining a glimpse into the mind of Sheogorath... glorious, intriguing, but somewhat disturbing.
17. Still in high school. Unfortunately, never had a job. Never paid bills. I can hardly remember the turn of the millennium. All of you are ancient. :D

So glad ya'll's debate over people have buried some goodbyes. Good going.

That's why I stopped replying.
There are three "levels" of roleplaying here: Free, Casual, and Advanced. The general guidelines for the quality of post expected in each is given beneath the link to those subforums on the main page. There are also subforums for roleplays of specific types - e.g. 1x1, when two people want to roleplay instead of a group, or Arena, which is centred around battling rather than story etc.

To get involved in an RP (or to make one yourself!) you need to search the "Interest Checks" in each subforum. When someone has an idea for a roleplay, they can gauge others' interest in participating by making an Interest Check, describing the idea. Those who are interested post in the Interest Check, stating so. At this stage, you haven't got as much of an obligation to continue through and participate in the roleplay, even if you state an interest (although you really should.)
If enough people say they'd be interested, the GM (the person running the roleplay) makes a thread in the main subforum. Within this thread, there are two sections, or tabs - IC (In Character, where the roleplaying posts go once the roleplay begins) and OOC (Out Of Character). The OOC is where you sign up to be part of the roleplay, and the OP will generally contain much more information on the idea for the roleplay introduced in the Interest Check. Once you sign up in the OOC, you are committed to the roleplay - signing up then never participating is a big faux-pas, and if frequent and widespread often leads to the deaths of individual RPs and entire forums.
Once enough people are signed up, the GM makes the first In-Character post, and the roleplay begins!

Hope that helps - and welcome to the Guild!

I think you completely misunderstand the situation but that is okay. There wasn't even hate until things escalated and even then (since this is obviously more so pointed at me) I was joking. I'll admit that I dislike him on a more personal level that you probably don't understand at all YET nor would care about (or should). Though as I said before I wasn't angry or anything, just pointing out he over-killed the joke I made on Jorick. If you read you could even see small hints of me still joking as well.

It was actually more directed at those hating on him just because they saw the opportunity to bitch about him, personally attacking him from out of the blue despite the fact that he'd done precisely eff-all to them to deserve it. Case in point is handily provided below by Broby. Yeah, okay, having a go over "killing your joke" is petty as shit, and if the joke was any good it'd stand on its own regardless of what Larfleeze said - the only thing that "killed the joke" is your whining about the joke being killed - but at least you had some reason for ragging on him. The others, not so much.

You're not the New Nat because the old Nat is still around and still being himself. If anything you're third in line to be Nat once he stops coming around. IF he stops coming around.

A) Thanks for being a handy example.
B) Nat is not a position. Please stop encouraging the view that any of his nonsense is special or deserving of recognition in some way. I don't have anything real against Nat, but feeding randumb people negative attention is like giving rabbits an unlimited supply of viagra and Bugs Bunny porn and leaving them to themselves for a whole summer: they breed.
No, Drago

Also, yes, okay, it's now cool to hate Larfleeze, but there's no need to do it every time he posts anything you don't like. Save it for when (s)he actually does something worthy of criticism aside from "ruin your joke" or some petty crap like that - particularly those of you whom Larfleeze didn't even 'wrong' by "ruining the joke", but who just feel like ragging on them.

I've just realised he looks more than a little like my maths teacher. Now I'm imagining Jeff Goldblum teaching maths to velociraptors.
I think I've had quite enough internet for today.

This entire thread has me in fits of laughter. Bravo, all.

In response to the OP: send it anyway, 'it's the thought that counts', so to speak. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm young and comparatively inexperienced, particularly considering you and Jero have been going out 5ever iirc, but in my relationships I've always found those kind of little pleasant surprises to be sweet/cute/thoughtful/Icantthinkoftherightfuckingword as well as sexy.

Teaching qualifications are fairly transferable, I'd think? You may have to learn some other things depending on differences in the curriculum, but I'd think the general skills are applicable no matter where you live.
