...Maybe we make one Character with the same personality, similar name, and characteristics although each scenario it's like they are in a different universe. The same being, but not. Maybe when you want to end it, tie them all together somehow....
I like the linking them all together idea. Like, every universe could have an easter egg of sorts about the previous or future ones, and the other previous characters could be mentioned now and then. For example, say Mike just defeated the mighty Oompa Loompa army a couple years ago. In one universe, he could have a place in the myths as a hero, while in the other he could be portrayed as a villain in folklore.
