Looking to start up an RP involving an arranged political marriage, wherein two young women are thrown together -- mostly against their will -- and have to make the best of it.
I'm more or less comfortable with Casual or Advanced RP standards, and usually I can manage at least two or three paragraphs at least once a day -- barring days that I'm just utterly wiped out due to circumstances at work.
Though the title says 18+, please be aware that I'm not specifically looking for mature content. I only put that there so that people can be aware that it's an option! I'm open to fading to black during most mature scenes, or playing through them as they come.
Since this is just an interest thread, I'll just give a rough idea of what I had in mind. If you're interested, we can talk about any further details through private messages. The idea is based around two separate nations... historically unfriendly, there have been numerous wars between the two over past generations. In the interest of fostering a working relationship -- and possibly putting an end to centuries of conflict in favor of mutual protection -- the two nations decide on a political marriage.
Now, in most situations, this would be a simple affair. But neither nation has a male heir. Knowing full well that this is the case, both nations agree that the marriage will take place anyway, in the interest of peace... though they don't bother to tell their respective princesses about the odd circumstances.
I'd like to do a little bit of worldbuilding before actually starting things off. Set up the details on each of the countries... customs, traditions, whether or not we're basing them on real nations or making them from scratch, culture, economy, etcetera. I also have a total of TWO potential characters that I could play for this -- each with her own dynamic to bring to the story, so you'll be free to choose whichever you like better.
Ideally, we'd play via e-mail, but I'd be willing to play via Private Messages as well. I'd like to avoid the open forums, particularly during any parts that may or may not become a bit more mature than normal. Don't want people stumbling on that sort of content, now do we?
If you're interested, PM me, or post here. I'll check back here at least once a day for the next couple of weeks, and possibly bump it a couple of times if I don't get a taker by the end of the first week.
