I can't tell you how big a relief that is to hear. Since SAO itself could pretty much be dubbed over with Linkin Park lyrics and not lose any of its meaning, a lot of RPs go way overboard with the drama. I'd love to join a thread where the characters aren't all wither whiny 15 year olds or maddeningly superior chuunis. At any rate, you have my cigar.

Given that we have been quite inactive lately, I will post later today to get things moving a bit better.

Naruto: Clash of Wills {Remake}

Ranko was pumped up, that's for sure. Still, their sensei did say that this would be an exercise for their teamwork, so she believed it best to stick to the group. Unfortunately, Dango dashed off in his own before they could actually prepare something. "Dango! Where are you going?!" She shouted at him. When she heard some traps going off, she knew it was already too late for him to come back. She let out a sigh before turning to Nagato. "I say we stick together... And we should also go after Dango, I have a feeling that if we leave him alone he'll be upside down next time we find him." She laughed a bit at her own comment, despite being a bit cruel about it. "A-Ah, sorry, I didn't want to sound mean." She walked forward a bit, trying to make something out of the trees that Dango went into. "But boy, for someone who can be so clumsy, he sure is fast. I guess he is a ninja after all." She smiled again after inspecting the trees some more. "So, what should we expect from sensei, Nagato? He's your uncle, right? I bet you know at least something of what he can do." She turned around to face Nagato. "Though some things do come to mind that we can use to stall his feet." Ranko just now noticed that she didn't really know much about Nagato, besides his name and inheritance. "Oh, right! We haven't introduced ourselves properly yet, have we? I am Ranko Kuromine, I specialize in barrier ninjutsus and taijutsu! What about you, Nagachin?" Giving Nagato a nickname she just came up with, she finished her sentence. It was almost eerie how calm she was, even though they had already been given orders from their sensei to chase after him. Almost like a mission.

Harpy's Wing HQ

In a certain green field near Crocus.

The tower that stands in the center of a green field, among other houses, proud and imposing, yet welcoming, Harpy's Wing headquarters. A little village is built at its foot, giving a very rustic feeling, maybe even nostalgic. This is the little village of Ascella, both young and little in comparison to Crocus, but esentally, also a part of it. The location of Harpy's Wing main building is far away from the Blooming Capital because of its intention: To give a place to stay for those that are weary from their travels and help them get back in their feet. People soon started settling in at the foot of the imposing tower, giving birth to this mock of a village, that is nonetheless warm and receiving. Harpy's Wing, founded several years ago by Aeona Mirakl, the first master, with a simple objective in mind, to create a home for those without one, however, the guild that was brought to its glory in X798 by Sonna Mirakl, the second master, but lost its popularity after her disappearance. They are known for being excellent teachers when it comes to learning about magic and its uses, as well as providing a place to stay for those without a home. They have been now in a constant fight against their rivals, Vyper Bolt, ever since. Allowing them to win the Great Magic Games last time was a miss on their part, but now Kat Ingrid Slaine is trying her best to make the guild raise again to its glory days. Even though they are away from Crocus, they still travel to it whenever there is a festival or otherwise, as is the case today. The people that normally walks around the streets of the village is now nowhere to be seen, and some fo the guild members of Harpy's Wing have also gone to see the Crocus Ceremony, an spectacle given by Vyper Bolt to get more members. This time, even Kat went there, after a long time of trying to convince her, making it a bit of an official expedition for the guild, so now even the guild building has been emptied, except for a certain old lady that watches over it, while she is not sleeping, that is. 'Our time will come', were the words from the old lady that finally convinced Kat. That old lady that is none other than the first guild master, Aeona Mirakl, who has definitely seen better days.

The Harpy's Vow

It is my vow, to never give in against the adversity. To never betray those that care for me. To never judge someone without knowing them, and judging myself first. To never make others feel unwanted. To never forget that I am not alone, no matter what. Even if my wings are stripped from my back and I am left helpless, I will always remember that I am not alone, that my friends and comrades, my family, will become my wings. Even if I were to stop believing in myself, I will never stop believing in those that do believe in me. And most importantly, I will never forget that no matter what, I will always be a Harpy, and that my family will always be there for me.

Does that mean he has to join a guild or be listed as a neutral mage. Also my character sheet for Revan is ready for complete inspection and critique. Also regarding his backstory, I was wondering if Demon's Maw could be the Dark Guild that was mentioned in Kat's background. Just a suggestion, as I'd think it could be interesting, should she ever meet Revan and find out who he used to be.

Do I want to, logically no, but I also would like the thinking about having the possibilty of this happening. The long answer is that I feel it isn't a certainty that she will ever find out, as he has none of the traits, qualities, or known characteritics of his past self, and the only ways for her to find out are Revan telling her, which is unlikely, or for her to see the seal is by removing his shirt, which seems very unlikely. I sincerely doubt that Kat is one to randomly strip people for no reason. The short answer is the I'm insane and what their to be some element of risk for this character, when he interacts with this guild.

Akame ga Kill: Shadows of Rebellion

Name: Axel Weiss Faction: Rangers Age: 21 Gender: Male Appearance:

He stands at 5 feet and 8 inches. Personality: Axel, in the outside, is someone that would be revered by others as a hero. Someone who stands out beside others because of his rightfulness and good heart, he is unable to see others suffer in a sense and will track down those who made them suffer. He is a just hero in the eyes of others, others outside of their squad that is. He does not speak much of justice or otherwise, but he does speak a lot of punishment delivered by him, in fact he doesn't speak a lot in general while in public. Axel is, in reality, one of the biggest sadists that have ever existed. He loves seeing others writhe in pain when he is doing it, but hates to see others inflicting pain on others, it just isn't as fun. He does his best in tracking down criminals and parts of the rebellion just because he enjoys killing them, he does the 'right' thing because he can enjoy the pain that comes afterwards from them. Brutal and with a fairly short fuse, you shouldn't piss him off unless you want something shoved up your... Well, you know what comes next. Provocative and an overall asshole to his enemies, he likes to degrade them to the point that some of them just want to either die or snap his neck. Reliable and good to his comrades, but a living nightmare for his enemies, some think that Axel is either really good at acting, has a split personality or just is that twisted. Personal History: Axel grew up as the son of an imperial soldier wiht a fairly good live, with her mom raising him and he helping his mother to raise his little sister. His father was regarded as one of the best imperial soldiers ever, not because of his skills or otherwise, but more because he was really kind to others and an overall good person. His skills were so-so, but he boosted morale like crazy. That is, until he decided to defect to the rebel army. He was killed before he could even try to leave the Empire, though. Word quickly arrived to his family but, of course, twisted words. They told Axel, his mother and little sister that he was killed in duty while he was fighting against the Revolution Army. In Axel's mother, and in him, grew a hatred bigger than life itself. Axel joined the Imperial Army in order to take revenge for his father. He started off as part of the torturers, but as he climbed ranks, he became an assassin, the a high ranked soldier, and now, part of the rangers. Through his exploits and jobs, his sadistic side and cruel demeanor grew bigger and bigger, eventually putting his revenge in second plate to just go on because he enjoys killing. Skills: Weiss Family Swordplay: Axel's father taught him how to use a sword, and Axel came up with his own skill set. He uses a single handed rapier and most of the time while he moves and fights, it seems as if he were dancing ballet. His swordplay is really something focused on being swift and giving a lot of tiny strikes rather than focusing on powerful strikes. Axel also incorporates a gun into his swordplay, however, it is an old model of those that take forever to recharge, so he tries to time well his shots. Apparently, it a heirloom of his late father, and that's why he uses it. Dancing: He knows how to dance ballet, strangely enough, given that he incorporates it in his fighting style. Marksmanship: His accuaracy is deadly, as most of his shots hit their mark. Teigu: None right now.

"Take your time." Kat said to Tony when he left the table to go find something to eat. Kat uninterestedly watched Tony get his food, since she had nothing better to do. However, she was shocked when she saw the unholy amount of food he was carrying in his plate, and her shock only grew as the guy added things to his tray. Her own father ate a lot more than her, but this guy was just too much. "I-Is this what they call the stomach of an athlete?" Given how much he ate and how he was still fit, Kat could only guess that Tony actually exercised a lot to keep fit. When Tony got back to the table, Kat initially let his first question pass. She just had to comment on how much food the boy had brought with him. "Well... that's a lot of food. I think I'm full just seeing them piled up like that." She said, amazed at the pile in front of her and inspecting it with curious eyes. "Oh, yes! About me!" Kat cleared her throat before going on with what she had to say. "You can just call me Kat. I'm a freshman here in Orean. I like music and playing games from time to time. I came here cause the old guys back in my house are too old fashioned for my peace of mind." She said with an exhasperated look in her face. Now that she thought about it.... Was Tony also special? As in, did he have any kind of magic or otherwise? Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. "So, can you also do some kind of hocus pocus? Or are you the average Joe?" Kat said, supporting her head on her hand and looking at Tony with expectation.
