Dragon Knights: Genesis

The Kingdom of New Torrea. A kingdom that has gone through lots of changes. Revolutions, reconstruction, revolts, and just now, does it seem that things are finally settling down.... Only to be brought to its primitive stage once more. King Allamon, the kindest king the kingdom has seen in ages and the one that was about to bring peace to not only the kingdom, not only the whole country, but to the whole continent. A virtuos and yet relentless man, has fallen ill and become bedridden, leaving the kingdom in hands of Prime Minister Donat. An intelligent, but unscrupulous man that would stop at nothing to see the kingdom not only prosper, but expand. With the king bedridden, nothing stops him from fulfilling his ambitions, even while the princess tries her best to stall his feet at every step Donat gives, he is still steadily advancing. The kingdom's finest have all gone to his side, and few remain loyal to the real king. This is the story of a group of people that will try to stop the Prime Minister with all they have... or die trying.

FACTS

• There IS magic in here, but the number of mages is really limited. I will go into more details if someone asks me something either here or in a PM. Every country has a mage of the court, who is the most powerful (known) mage in the country. I don't want the RP to be filled with mages, please, because, as said earlier, there aren't a lot of mages.
• The only race you will be able to play here is human, though angels and demons also roam around here, there are no elves or dwarves or such.
• There are some special, real special weapons we'll find here. Their name is Dragon Gauntlets, and there are four of them in total. I'll leave the rest to your imagination as to what you think they can do. Each country holds one of this, and the people who wear them are called Dragon Knights. There are many great stories about them, and they roam around the masses even now, and hold an special place alongside the rulers of each country.
• The level of technology here reaches guns and weapons of the like, but there are no TVs, cellphones, or crap like that. Still, guns are really scarce, just like magic, so most people still prefer good ol' steel. Guns aren't full auto, but revolvers and snipers are a reality here.
• Including New Torrea, the kingdom we'll start in, there are 4 other countries your character can come from.

The Countries

• New Torrea:
  This country is bustling with people and technology. With a medieval Italy styling, this is where our story will start from. King Allamon rules here, but he has fallen ill and become bedridden with an unknown disease. His health is really precarious, and his daughter, Princess Strea, tends to him day and night, with no positive results in sight. Prime Minister Donat is now trying to make New Torrea expand. An intelligent man, yes, but with no strategic insight or the slightest idea of what war is. Many back him up, but there are also those who do not, but that's a minority as of right now. The people ache for a revolution now, but a revolution that will bring nothing but pain for them. Klomos is the Mage of the Court here.
• Milokis:
  Librarians and mages are the majority here. With a look like that of ancient Germany, Milokis is often dubbed as the Country of Wisdom, even though the greatest library of the continent is in a city near and not in Milokis itself. The Mage Council is made-up of 10 exceptional mages, the most powerful mages in all the continent. It seems there's also a Mage of the Court here in Milokis, even though it defies the whole concept of the Mage of the Court being the most powerful mage in the country. The whole country is protected by a barrier that doesn't allow people to get into the country without being a mage OR walking all the way there, in order to protect against foreign attacks.
• Nijiara:
  The agricultural country, there's a vast flora and fauna here, as well as really dangerous monsters. Assassins and rogues come from here just like the food, of the best quality. The buildings in here are styled like those of feudal Japan. The King, Nodabu, is an strict man with an strategic mind, but still supports New Torrea with all his might, being their principal ally during times of war and such, but with Donat being in charge right now, Nodabu has shut down all communication with them. However, the Mage of the Court, Theana, still keeps on constant contact with New Torrea.
• Hoskaros:
  The biggest country of the other three, they are the biggest military force in the continent. They operate through a council, much like Milokis. Their buildings are like those of middle age Russia (If that makes sense xD). They don't hold any communication with any other country, but with Nijiara in order to get food. The Mage of the Court, Gnash, handles all of their political affairs, and also seems to be quite a racist man, hailing from the same country he is now serving in.

The Magic

Magic here is quite simple. You study magic and specialize in some kind of field, where you are able to achieve great things, but this also closes your probabilities of casting other magic in large scale, however, you can still cast little thingies like flames for cooking or things of the like. Of course, you can study something else, but that will be harsher on your body. Example, if you study necromancy, then you can cook something with pretty little flames, but can't shoot big-ass fireballs, and you also get to resurrect the death! Yay~

The Rules!

• No Godmodding, metagaming, or otherwise. Please!
• No Mary Sue, Gary Stu, etc... Leave some room for development!
• You can have as much characters as you want, but heads will start rolling after I see some of you not being able to control all of them.
• No flame wars in OOC! Pretty please!
• If you really have a problem with someone, take it to PM's!
• In any case, if things get out of hand, my word is final.
• You cannot kill other people's characters without permission! First, talk with the owner of the character, then bring it to me and we'll see what we can do.
• Keep everything PG-13. What happens after kissing and hugging, please, keep it to yourself or go to the PM's.
• No speed posting, please wait for one or two people to post before you post again.

Kat was surprised to see the boy so defensive, but she was even more surprised by the girl who started hugging her. "S-stop it! What are you doing!? Stop, stop, stooop!" Kat tried to get away from the girl that was snuggling her, to no avail. "If I tell you my name, then will you let me go?! Fine! I'm Katherine! Now, let go of meeee!" And then, the boy snatched the 3DS away from her, and another guy approached them with a 3DS in his hands too. Kat would have been happier had it not been for the girl calling her cute. She felt like a kid like that too. After the girl finally let go of her, Kat finally took a deep breath of relief. She was finally able to make more, um, reasonable judgements. Kat thought her little joke would be something easy to laugh off, but it seemed this boy didn't liked her actions at all. She took her lollipop out of her mouth and looked up at the guy, who was really tall by the way.... Now it irritated her. The fact that the furthest she could reach was his backpack made her even more irritated. She sighed with exasperation. "Fine, I will ask for it politely. I don't feel like coming up with witty retorts right now. Would you like to be friends with me, um....?" She said, trying to make the guy spout his name out. However, when the other guy (Lance) arrived and started saying things about Leon's choice of games, she just glared at him. "Anyhow, what are your names? I'd rather not just call you all, well, you." Kat said, sticking the lollipop again in her mouth and ignoring the new guy who just magically made something appear on his hands.

Drew

One thing Drew liked about the dancefloor? The girls who seemed to just come together like flies to dog poop. The only thing he regretted? Not being able to take photos while he danced. At the very least, his mind was now away from things and he was now following Disc's rhytyhm with a lot more ease than before. Drew knew the guy had slowed down his pace just so that Drew could match him, but he was having a lot of fun, to be honest, and when the other girl approached them, he knew it was bliss and that it was his lucky day today. "It'd be my pleasure, my fair maiden! I wouldn't ask for anything more delightful than seeing your dance during this fine night!" Drew said, continuing with his dance. Another guy entered the dance stage. He had some really smooth moves, that's for sure. Well, he wasn't about to go in a dance off against the guy with the sick moves, but he was plenty confident he could be one of the backstage dancers for Disc.

Angela

After a long day, Angela decided to pass by the party. Well, she could let off some steam at least, and see her new students. The party sure was lively, that was for sure. Her wings felt cramped inside her shirt, but she knew the day was about to end, maybe staying around for just a bit in the party was the correct idea. Of course, until she felt someone doing something bad. She may have lost her halo, but she still had a keen radar for those kinds of things. She approached the boy that gave off such an aura of malice (Hana) and quickly snatched the bag out of his hands, before sniffing the bag he was carrying. "My, but what is this? Alcohol? At your age? And even more so, in campus? But what are you thinking, boy?! That is....!" It was definitely bad, she was sure of it. But she wasn't an angel anymore. She had lost her halo, and that meant she was now a fallen angel=demon. She searched for something behind her back and took two horns, before turning around and attaching them to her head. "So incredibly bad! I shall help you! .... IF you are willing to pay the price..." She said, with a devilish smile on her face. The whole of it seemed ridiculous, but she somehow gave an intimidating aura too, it was up to the watcher to determine which was real.

I'm not too familiar with the inspiration material, so thanks for explaining. Is the personality section necessary? I don't like using them for my characters sheets, but will if you want me to.

Well, I don't mind if you want to keep it short, tbh, but a basic outline would be helpful, at the very least. You can always compensate with backstory, if you'd like, like that, I won't have any problems.

Yep, there's still space. I'll take Dragofable into account for the title... Feel free to make a CS, jdh97! He is the antagonist because he is trying to make a revolution with too little resources, most people know in the kingdom it'd be suicidal to try and do something like what he is trying to do, getting the other three countries against them, but he is overconceited. Anyhow, I'm sure you'll see why and how he is an antagonist in the RP. ;P

I'll start work on the OOC, and I will also clear up some things that some people may have gotten wrong thanks to my not explaining all that well. Sorry. :P All right, mages are scarce here, and only someone that has at the very least a basic grasp of how magic works, then you cannot cast anything, not even pretty little flames. Some may have misunderstood what was written in the CS cause I used the word 'people' instead of 'mages'. I'll fix that and add another part to the CS that I forgot about before, the gender xD Anyhow, people, I like the CS so far. :D EDIT: Also, any good title ideas, guys? xD
