Idea: One thing we could do to separate us from RvB the show is we could implement a serious plot before a Freelancer is ever even introduced.
For example, a Green Team of unknown origin attacks the Blues and Reds, and has far more numbers/better equipment than the Blues and Reds combined, so they have to team up.

I have no preset way to get there. It's more like winging it.
Red Team
"What? You have no mugs" Tug shouted. Then, before he could answer Cortez, he slammed on the gas of the Warthog to propel it away from where Agno tossed the grenade. "AAAAAGGGHH!" He shouted as he slammed into the side of blue base. He moaned as he feel out of the car, dazed. "I will avenge you, Mark Shug..." He slurred as he fired his pistol randomly in all directions before spinning and collapsing to the ground.
Blue Team
Raph rounded the corner with his rocket launcher on his shoulders, only to find that the Reds had already crashed the Warthog. Seeing Tug collapse out of the driver's seat, he shouted, "Ha! That's what you lousy Reds get for having your dumbest member drive!"
Raph turned his attention to Cortez, who he saw firing at Drake. "Oh, no you don't!..." He muttered as he aimed the launcher at Cortez.
