It's actually faster. And we don't log off/on constantly, if one of us are using more than one character at any given moment, we talk like this.

Why do you have so many accounts?
The other RP I'm in is a speed-posting one, and we use Avatars to show what character we're using. So it's a lot easier to have separate accounts where the avi is already uploaded to it than to go through and find it again.
That account that just posted is me too.

Tug saw the ship fall from the sky. "Oh my gosh! Sir, a ship just crash landed over there! We have to go scavenge it before Blue team gets there!" He danced on his feet.
-Blue Team-
"No! Don't shoot it! Maybe we can get some information out if it, or maybe it will share some supplies!" Raph yelled. "We could gain so much!"
-Green Team-
Two warthogs with Gauss cannons on their backs and one Hornet came up over the ridge and looked down on those at the ship. The driver of the 'Hog on te left spoke up. "This wreckage is officially being claimed by Green Team. Get out of here you dirty Yellows, or we'll shoot... Wait a minute... You people aren't yellow..." He said, and suddenly started to speak quietly into his radio.
