Those people who actually post their status in status updates are a part of a very small minority. One that I'm not a part of.

I may make a completely different character, but whoda. Anyways, yeah, your character is going to be on Yuran? The story is going to be taking place on Solitude.
Great. I'll post the thread in the morning.
Okay. Hold off and I'll try to get it up in the morning. I have one other person joining.
Actually, is it okay if we move this to casual so we can have this third guy who wants to join do it with us? Is that okay with you?
West looked around at his team. It was everyone from the robot simulation plus this Nevada guy. "Called it. We're all a team," he said matter-of-factly. He wondered how that Arizona guy felt about having to be involved with others. "So we have an antisocial ninja, an engineer, a hacker, a marksman, and a plethora of CQC specialists. Great lineup, in all honesty. I think we'll do just fine."

"Agreed. If you all work as a team, everyone is highly likely to come out alright on this mission."

"Hmm... Wait a sec. I need time to get a spot, and get a feel for the area." West muttered. "In order to be an Overwatch guy, I need to be in place the moment the team gets there. How do I put in a request for predeployment with the director?"

"I've already submitted your request."

"Oh... Thanks, Dee. You're the bomb."

"I'll inform you on the Director's decision when it comes in."

"Awesome." And with that, Garret turned his attention back to the real world once again. Washington was hugging Nevada. At least he's a caring leader. he thought to himself. He leaned up against the wall nearest him and smirked under his helmet at his new teammates. He was sure this bunch wasn't going to die on him anytime soon.
Name: Emma Gallinger

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Affiliation with Church: No

Appearance:

Brief backstory: Emma was always loved by people. She was smart, funny, and athletic. She was just the kind of person people wanted to be around. Her secret strength, however, was electronics. The girl is decent in almost all fields of curcuitry, computing, and etcetera. She can get past electronic doors with simpler and average locks. She took the loss of her family pretty hard, though. She's still grieveingafter having watched her baby brother be taken by the necromorphs. This makes her slow to trust, and shy once you know her, but a great partner all in all.

Personality: Shy, bashful, slow to trust girl who enjoys talking about anything machinery. Computers, guns, cars. The rest is to be discovered.

Preferred fighting style: She doesn't really enjoy fighting, but if she has to, it'd be up close and personal. She likes to make sure her job gets done and done right so no one else gets hurt by the thing she's taking down.

Faction: N/A

Other: Starting weapon is a simple shotgun.
West responded instantly to the call for the agents, and he got up and went with Washington to the designated area, but Delta put a waypoint up anyways. When the Director updated everyone's AIs with the objective, West had Delta relay the key details to him.

"I've calculated that the average chance of survival for this mission amongst all soldiers is about 65%. Luckily for you, there are no known soldiers that even come close to matching you in marksmanship ability, on their side as well as ours. You have a 95% chance to survive."

"Booyah! What else you got for me, D?" Delta said, and he relayed all the important information to him, as well as the mission objective. Then Washington started to speak. Upon his mention of everyone's jobs, West pumped his fist. "Booyahgain!"

"Did you just combine 'booyah' and 'again'?" Delta asked.

"That means that I get to save some lives. This will be great fun." West remarked, smirking. "And with you and my Supersight, no one is sneaking up on anyone." He high-fived an unenthusiastic holographic projection of Delta and looked around, realizing that he was going to be a lone if all went right through the entire mission. "But being alone sucks..." He muttered, then slumped his shoulders for a moment before shrugging it off.
Nytefall said
as you wish. Damn sleepers. I'll write up the mission thing then.

Hahaha, Okay.
Thanks, Nytefall. I'll edit the CS at some point.

Also, it seems as though everyone is waiting for the mission aside from a few, so I'd be willing to go ahead and wrap things up in the cafeteria so everyone can sleeps.

Solitude was a planet far from human controlled space for a long time. After the events that transpired on the Sprawl, more colonization projects were initiated by Earthgov in an attempt to create havens for humanity, just in case the ultimate Necromorph outbreak ended life on Earth, or even the entire Solar System. It was at this point that Solitude was now a major location of interest for humanity. Colonization attempts were initiated across space, as far as humanity could reasonably go. Solitude was founded ever so slightly beyond that boundary, and it was isolated from direct travel to Earth as a result. To get here, people would have to travel to the slightly closer, smaller colony of Yuran.

After the first 20 years, the results were unbelievably astounding. The planet reached a population of 800 million, 70% of which were Unitologist immigrants, and another 7% were born in Unitologist families. For the most part, the Unitologists kept completely to themselves. A small continent slightly smaller than Australia even formed an absolute government and forbade all Unitologist Activity, Unitology related items, and even people with any form of history with the Church of Unitology. But this all occurred near the end of Solitude's history of peacefulness...

Unitologists got back into the groove of things, and they kept their little projects under the radar. Several Markers were rebuilt with data collected from an unknown source. This data was also shared with different churches in different locations, and before long, history was destined to repeat itself. Upon the first instance of Necromorph infection, Yuran was hoarded with both Earthgov personnel in charge of halting all migration from Solitude, and people from Solitude whose migration attempts were met with brutal execution in order to stop any potential spreading across worlds. Of course, whether this was successful or not is unknown to the people who still reside on Solitude. News coverage was stopped shortly before the outbreak reached the global scale, and from then on it was complete chaos. Almost no survivors reside in what used to be major Urban population centers, and spotting the dead can be difficult in the dense forests of implanted trees from Earth itself. Rural small towns also exist across the planet, and many may still be functioning communities for the time, offering food, safety, and maybe even a permanent home to weary passerby.

This story takes place on Ptolemia, the second smallest of four continents on the planet.

Locations are intentionally unmarked.
Nine major cities are on this continent:

[hider=Factions]Kappalius: The only continent on the planet in which has remained infection free. This can be largely attributed to the zero-tolerance policy on Unitology activity. Giant walls were erected before the outbreak within the waters of the ocean near the shores. These are constantly being maintained by government workers for the unified continent in order to keep out sea-faring necromorphs. Kappalius will not be prevalent in the RP until the point when characters decide to try and travel there. Until then, all that will be seen from them are massive naval ships near the shores of Ptolemia and footsoldiers from the strangely well equipped military that are sent to various locations on the other three continents to try and find a solution to the Solitude outbreak, and to eradicate any Unitologists and Necromorphs they find. Unitologist characters be warned, these guys will shoot the moment they find out your affiliation with the Church.
