Name: Olivia Hoàng
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Asian (Vietnamese-American)
Pre-Infection Career: Model. Promotional, usually.
Description:

As one might expect from a professional model, Olivia is generally considered rather attractive; otherwise she wouldn't be a very good professional model. Her figure is slender, but certainly not bony, unlike some of her more extreme counterparts. Her long black hair, previously straight, has been mussed up by all the stress of the last two years. She doesn't bother with makeup anymore either, figuring there are more important things to think about; though makeup is in horribly short supply at the camp, anyway. However, she hasn't let the infection damage her fashion sense; she tends to wear a dark brown leather jacket, bright orange tank top with 'LUPARA' written on it, denim shorts and blue flat shoes. At the very least, she's recognised that heels ain't good for running in.

Biography: Olivia was raised by a fairly liberal family that had emigrated from Vietnam to Seattle, Washington to escape what they saw as a repressive regime. Growing up, she originally wanted to be a big-name Hollywood actress, but eventually decided that this goal was too unrealistic and set her sights for academia instead. Though she went to university in Seattle to earn a degree in Social Science, she ended up taking modelling contracts on the side to earn some extra money. A LOT of extra money, in fact, once some businessmen decided she looked rather nice. Eventually, even after she earned her degree, she chose to become a model full-time, if only because she had already gotten into the flow of things and didn't feel like fixing what wasn't broken.

A few years later, she happened to be in Tampa, Florida for a promo event for 'Lupara' Energy Drink. Olivia ended up quitting halfway after hearing that Seattle was affected by the virus issue. Unfortunately, flight delays caused by missing airport staff forced her to stay in Tampa. The next day, at one of those airport inn hotels, she found herself impotently flailing about planks of wood against the hordes of humans-turned-monsters that now roamed the place; she wouldn't have survived if it hadn't been for the timely arrival of a maid with a shotgun.

Woefully unprepared for the situation, both mentally and physically, Olivia started out pretty much as baggage for all the surviving guests and staff at the hotel (no pun intended), and spent a lot of her time complaining while everyone else turned the place into a fortress. But then the situation became more dire as the months passed; supplies started to dwindle, supply drops from the confused military became less and less frequent, and the living dead congregated outside in ever-increasing numbers. With everyone too stubborn to leave, Olivia finally decided enough was enough and dropped her previous habits. Taking the initiative, she teamed up with a young street racer called Lyons to discreetly escape in a small car she'd found. As it was the only car in (barely-)working condition, they chose not to tell the others for fear they might fight over it. A few days of travel later, they ran out of fuel and had to make their way on foot to Orlando, where they eventually came across the refugee camp.

Olivia later found out the other survivors at the hotel had finally been overwhelmed, and while she's still adamant, now a hyper-practical, anti-emotion take-action type, that she and Lyons did the right thing, she secretly still doubts her actions.
Nice. I'll be posting my CS then. Had this idea kicking around for a bit.
Is this still accepting? I've been looking for a decent Zombie RP that I feel I could handle, and this may be one of them.

May I ask, can people still join now? I was working earlier so I couldn't post anything.

I am interested in this, indeed. Not what I usually do, but it'd make a change. I might even make a character who seems completely unsuited for this situation, just to see if I can make them survive for long.
I may be interested in this. I have a whole family of OCs I created for another Mass Effect RP off-site. Literally. Some of them could do with some nice development.
Rimau looked back at the corpse again, with a look of danger on his face. He had to do something. Just to be on the safe side. Not that he couldn't handle a single zombie, but it'd be far more convenient to deal with it before it got to its feet.

"...Better safe than sorry, y'know."

Having verbally established that, he walked back over to the corpse, removed his machete from his belt and proceeded to stab the dead robber in the skull, destroying the brain inside. At the very least, he'd heard that a zombie with no brain was just a shuffling moron.

"Sorry 'bout that..." He stated apologetically, as he strenuously withdrew the giant knife from the man's head, allowing out-of-date blood to spew out in places. "...'Bout those Pyramid rocks..."

He paused once again to grunt as he finally removed the knife, having had to acquire support by placing one foot on the man's neck. He coughed, cleaning the blade on the man's clothes. He doubted that he'd take them with him to whatever afterlife he believed in.

"...I kinda meant I heard o' Pyramid rocks before. One o' those ol' bits o' junk left lyin' around by ancient civilisations or somethin'. Eroded an' whatnot."

The old lizard scratched the back of his neck before finally setting himself back on course in a very nonchalant fashion, acting as if he hadn't just stabbed a dead guy in the head. No vomit or nothing.

"...S'pose I could jus' be imaginin' things, though. Anyways, I reckon we're gettin' close t'the base o' the mountains. Those dumbasses are probably in the valley. If they can't move a frickin' golden mask up walls, I doubt they're the outdoorsy kind."
Masaru Takahara - Yggdrasil Restaurant District

Masaru simply observed the kid in the stripy top run away from the restaurant all urgent-like. Wasn't crying, so he guessed that the fellow with the Bokutou was not being an ass. But it was a shame.

Having actually managed to finish scarfing down his protein-rich lunch without even noticing, the martial artist chose to get out of his seat and wander over to the man; maybe with a bit of luck he'll learn something from him. And he won't laugh in his face at his goals. What was it about 'strongest in the multiverse' that made people crack up, anyway?

"Hey." He said to the man, taking the initiative. Which is another way of saying it could have been rude, but... well. Nobody said Masaru was known for his conversational tact. "...You look like you can handle yourself."

Of course, it was only at this point that Masaru realised that maybe he wasn't setting a good first impression. Of course, he was always looking for a challenge, but most people weren't. Most people thought more about not getting into needless fights.

"Ahem. My name's Masaru. That kid that just left... d'you know him?" He asked, scratching the back of his head. "I've seen him before, somewhere..."
So, how many people you looking to get on board for this? I really hope this gets off the ground.
