So I managed to survive the semester with a third of my sanity left. To my partners: I'll try to respond to everyone in the next week or so!

If I'm ever online during the week, it means that I'm probably procrastinating with something that I shouldn't be procrastinating with.

Bio

Hello there! I'm HiddenBeauty13, HB13, Hibbie, Beauty, Hidden, or whatever nickname you choose to give me. I have been a member of RPG since 2012 (I believe, don't quote me on this. I could be wrong.)

I am a pretty diligent roleplayer but I am very dedicated to my school work and I do take time from RPG to focus on school, especially since I'm a college student. So please do not be alarmed if I'm MIA for a week (or a few weeks or a few months), I'll be back and ready to continue roleplaying with you!

"I hope we never decide to put your face on a flag then. Everybody would be fleeing from us then." Raine called from some unknown source an snickering could be heard shortly after. She'd been walking around the ship again when she happened to hear the last bit of their conversation from a window that was slightly ajar. It was then that an idea hit Raine: Why not make insults back at the guy instead of getting upset? So she decided to make it into like a game almost, except no on was particularly keeping score.

"I do agree with him, though." She added as she decided to make herself visible to them and she walked onto the deck with one of the medical books held against her chest. "That flag does scream 'pirate' to anyone who sees it. Maybe we can come up with another flag that would make people willing to come towards us. Like a drawing of food on it....like a bottle of ale on it....or more food..." Once again, the redhead was off into her own fantasy world about food and was practically drooling all over herself at this point, but she managed to get her ideas out beforehand.
C'mon....c'mon clock. Tick faster. I want to go home already. Aoi thought impatiently as she tapped her pencil lightly against her notebook, which was covered in what she called her 'boredom doodles'. It consisted of a few characters that she and her childhood friend, Zarek, had thought of when they were a bit younger. However, she hadn't thought of bringing the characters to life until after he moved from that home that he had practically grown up in. Now, all she had was these doodles and memories to remember him by, along with the occasional phone call, but that was hardly enough for Aoi.

The professor, who was still wearing that same, boring expression from when he started class finally turned around and told the students to have a nice spring break, much to Aoi's relief. She didn't know why she'd even come to class, knowing that they weren't going to do much but that didn't matter now that she was able up go home and stay there for the next few weeks without having to show up a school on time. Quietly, the black haired girl gathered her things before swiftly leaving the room. Aoi weaved through the growing crowd easily and dodged bodies left and right as she made a bee line towards the lobby area of the building. She watched friends happily greet other friends before joyously exciting the building together and Aoi felt a pang of envy.

If only I could be like that...no, no. I have plenty of friends in Solarie Online. she quickly reassured herself before she could fall into that dark mood again. Shaking all those thoughts away, she focused on placing one foot in front of the other. The further she got away from the school, the more relaxed Aoi became and she was able to enjoy the scenery around her. She was usually in such a rush to get to school that she never got to really look at beauty that surrounded her. All around, tall trees loomed over her head and shaded her from the afternoon sun that seemed determined to boil her blood. For a spring day, it was actually pretty hot and Aoi found herself slipping out of her sweater to avoid over heating. After doing so, she noticed a bush filled with blooming flowers and immediately walked over to it, silently wishing that she had a camera to take a picture of it. She, instead, leaned over and gently cupped a flower with her hand and inhaled deeply, smiling a bit as she did so. This smells great... No matter how much she wanted to stay, though, she needed to get home before she was late for the guild meeting.

With that thought in mind, it didn't take Aoi long to make it back to her small apartment, located about 30 minutes (on foot) away from the school. She climbed up the steps to the second floor before stopping in front of room 205 and pulling out her key. Once the door was unlocked, the girl hurried inside the door and locked it; Aoi then discarded her book bag off to the side before immediately heading to what she referred to as her Relaxing Room, which was the second bedroom of the apartment that she didn't have much use for since she lived alone. Inside was a desk where she kept her computer and all the games and accessories that went along with it. Next to the desk was a worn but comfortable blue couch that her parents gave to her as a house warming gift.

Across the room sat a tv that was surrounded by various gaming consoles but Aoi seemed to ignore them and headed straight for the computer. It only took the computer a few seconds to boot up and an even shorter time for Aoi to log in. She immediately moved her mouse over to Solarie Online's icon and double clicked. A picture of an animated female dressed in priestly clothing popped onto the screen, telling the user to wait while the game loads. 20%....35%.....52%...could this thing possibly go even slower? Aoi thought as she drummed her fingers impatiently against the desk. Sighing a bit, she glanced over at her phone, wondering if she should let Zarek know what she was out on break now. Maybe they could finally schedule to meet up-- Aoi's thoughts were interrupted as the words: 'Please Connect to Your Head Gear' flashed onto the screen. "I'll just text him when I log out." Aoi mumbled to herself as she reached for her head gear. She placed it onto her head and felt the little sensors connect to her temples before closing her eyes, only to wake up in Solarie Online as Aoina.

Flowers. Flowers of every shape, size and colors filled Aoi's vision as she opened her eyes. Glancing around, she noticed that she was in a meadow, one that was being overrun with plants. Flowers and weeds stood nearly as tall as she and little clumps of trees were scattered here and there but the path that winded through the meadow managed to stay free from the plants. She reluctantly forced herself to look away from the flowers and up at the very realistic but animated sky. Judging by the amount of light coming from the setting sun, it was nearly evening time in Solarie Online and Aoi swore softly to herself. I'm late...!

"You're late, Aoina." A deep voice announced as the green haired mage tried to sneak into the room unnoticed. Aoi's cheeks flushed as twenty pairs of eyes turned to look at her and the girl smiled sheepishly. "Uhm, sorry about that. I just got home from school..." She explained and the guild leader (a level 65 ranger) waved away her explanation with his hand. "It's fine. Just sit down so that I can finish up." Nodding, Aoi did as she was told and took a seat around the large conference table that the guild had rented out for today. Unfortunately, Aoi unconsciously tuned the guild leader out almost as soon as he began speaking. She got the main gest of what he wanted to say, though:

"Do better in your fights against other guilds."

"Make sure you donate so we can get enough to buy our own building for our guild."

"Level up as much as you can."

Aoi is only level 35 now, since she had to take a break from Solarie Online because school was taking up most of her time, but she was ready to make up for all that lost time. Even if it took all night, she would get to level 40 so she could get a job change from a Mage to the next highest job choice. The girl was so engrossed in her fantasy that she almost missed it when the guild leader announced that the meeting was over and Aoi was up and out of the door in a matter of seconds. She did have somewhere to be, after all.

Aoi had to travel through three different maps and walk through half of the terrain of the Land of Time to get to where she needed to go. Eventually, she made it to a little NPC based town located in the middle of the map. She'd used up quite a bit of her health potions while on the way here to avoid dying but, now, she needed to refill. As she was about to walk over to the Potion Specialist NPC, she spotted a familiar symbol out the corner of her eye and when she turned to get a better look at it, she realized that it was, in fact, someone from one of her guild's 'enemies'. The words of her guild leader echoed in her mind as she walked over to the guy, whose name was Ragnarok_Red, and spoke to him.

"Hey, wanna duel?" She tried to ask it casually and without much emotion. Just because her guild didn't like his did not mean that she had to be rude to the guy.
This is a role play based off the anime Sword Art Online. However, we've added a few twists here and there to make it a bit more exciting. c:

A poor summary x_x but you get the gest of it lol~

Allura narrowed her eyes at the people who decided to stare at the two of them as they headed to the smith's shop. Yes, she knew that they were two strangers that had randomly appeared out of a supposedly 'cursed' cave during the night but, darn, did they have to stare so intently? This thought and many others plagued the angel's mind but they soon went away as the shop came into view. It was a rather spacious area filled with everything that the smith needed to make his business successful. Glancing inside, she noticed the smith himself, he was a tall and bulky man, nothing less of what she assumed him to be like. As Akira walked over to the smith, the angel decide to keep herself occupied until he was done by examining the weapons that the smith had already forged.

The first weapon to catch her eye was a sword. It's blade seemed to be made out of the most durable type of metal and the hilt was covered with a few straps of leather, which would provide comfort for the user when he or she decides to wield the sword. Moving to the right, another weapon caught her eye. This time, it was a staff, one composed of a similar metal to the that the sword was made out of. Reaching out, she ran her fingers lightly along the entire length of the metal and quickly came to the conclusion that it would make a fine staff for her.

At that moment, she tuned in long enough to hear the smith call out to her and she turned to him, nodding slightly. "Yes, I'd like to purchase this staff here." Allura carefully removed the staff from its original space and walked over to the two. "That was a little pricy." The smith said carefully, eyeing Allura up as he did so. Apparently, he didn't think that she could afford it, so she too pulled out a money and poured out a hefty amount of coins, making the smith's eyes grow wide. "Okay...I'll accept this." Was all the smith could say as he reached out for the coins but the angel quickly put her hand over the money. "I would also like an engraving of the word 'aqua' on it as well." The man nodded and the addressed the both of them.

"Your items should be done in an hour, no later than an hour and a half. Just come back for your items then." Allura thanked the man and then waited for Akira to tag along to before heading out of the shop with him. "Where should we go next?" She called up to him, just to be sure that she could be heard by him over the roar of the crow around them. She was unaware of it now, but more towns folk had stopped to watch the two almost as soon as the exited the smith's shop. The women would lean over towards each other and whisper back and forth while some of the more immature men thought of ways on how to provoke the two. Getting along with some of the towns folk would not be an easy task.
Raine instantly brightened at the mention of maps and books. Before her parents' deaths, they had taught the redhead how to read maps and the stars, just in case she ever got lost. Of course, all those lessons paid off when Raine go lost in another town once, but that was a story for another time. Her mind soon shifted to all the medical supplies that Runa may have aboard her ship. I wonder if she has some more needles...I've been needing an upgrade for a while now. She thought to herself, completely oblivious to the conversation going on beside her. Well, I'm apart of the crew now. I'm sure she won't mind me checking it out... And with that, the redhead glanced at the other two before silently slipping off onto Runa's ship. She didn't care if they saw her or not, since there was only one thing on her mind at the moment: finding the infirmary.

Onto to the ship she went, looking around curiously as she did so. Raine hadn't been on a ship like this one before and she found herself wanting to know as much as about this boat as possible. It seemed like a great idea, since she would be spending a lot more time on the sea from this day forward. Taking a left, Raine walked down a few narrow passageway, glancing back and forth at the rooms. When she went to open one, she found that it looked similar to what she assumed a captain's room would look like and she quickly closed the door. That's not what she was looking for. Raine opened two more doors, only to find herself disappointed once more until, finally, the scent of herbal leaves wafted towards her nose. Her head quickly snapped towards the direction in which the smell came from and she immediately went towards the door.

"I found it!" She exclaimed to herself as she opened the door to the infirmary: to her left lay a bed with a surprisingly clean white sheet draped over it. At the foot of the bed sat a large bookcase that was filled with more medical books than Raine had ever seen in her life. Turning towards the right, she noticed a drawer and, when she walked over to it, she found out that it contained various medicines and medical utensils. It was enough to make the redhead nearly faint from happiness. "I may be in heaven right now..." She mumbled softly to herself and she grabbed a book and plopped down on the bed. There was a lot of information she didn't know about medicine and Raine figured that she better start sharpening her knowledge about it as soon as possible.
Allura smirked at his comment about her change of clothes, but decided not to respond with a witty response of her own. She smoothed out the dress a bit before walking forward along the semi crowded dirt covered streets with Akira. "Well, I would be a bit curious myself if someone asked me to fix a sword that isn't damaged." The angel added with a light shrug then began going through a mental list of what she thought she needed: Her staff was no where to be found and Allura figured that it got left behind during their battle in the cave. Since she had no intentions of going to retrieve it, she figured that she could get a new one, one that was made completely of metal instead of wood, one that would be able to remained undamaged if she enchanted it.

The angel was so deep in thought that she managed to miss Akira'a question on whether to split up or not and she was only vaguely aware that they'd finally arrived at the market area. It was only when Akira decided to raise his voice in order to assure that Allura would hear him. "Well, let's see...." Merchants were calling out their different products and their prices all at once and people scurried left and right in order to grab a great deal before it was gone. The smell of cooking foods of all different kinds floated to the angel's nose, making her mouth water a bit, even if she had already eaten that morning. "Maybe we should head to the armory first. Ya know, get the harder part out the way." She suggested with a smile and began walking forward once more.

The deeper they got into the market area, the more crowded it got and Allura nearly lost her companion a few times while she was leading him around. "Geeze. there's so many people." She mumbled to herself as 'traffic' came to a stop for some reason, making the angel sigh to herself. "Can you see the armory from her Akira?" Only people taller than Allura stood all around, blocking her view, much to her annoyance. She didn't enjoy not being able to see her surroundings at all.
Raine nearly jumped for joy when she was accepting into the girl's crew and shook the other's hand excitedly. Finally, my days of never having enough food will end. She thought, nearly drooling on herself when images of freshly baked bread filled her mind. However, Raine snapped back into reality when the question of her name popped up."My name is Raine. Raine Starling." The redhead responded to the girl with a wide grin and saluted to Runa. "It's nice to introduce myself to you properly." And with that, she began to follow Runa, who was already making her way towards her ship.

For nearly the entire walk to Runa's ship, Raine had no questions, mainly because she was still daydreaming about food; but, when she heard an al too familiar voice behind her, the nearly growled. "And I see that someone hasn't shoved a stick up your rude arse yet." Raine counted before quickly attempting to gain control of her anger. She wouldn't allow someone like him to ruin her happiness. "Anyway, Runa. Where exactly are we heading first and when are we leaving?" It was obvious that Raine wanted to get away from this town, and one of its inhabitants, as soon as possible.
Raine was busy watching the girl--Runa was her name--walk away when the guy who had also taken interest in the girl's offer piped up. Looking over to him, the red head realized that she'd seen him around a few times while she made her 'daily rounds' around the town and she immediately came to the conclusion that she did not like him very much. "Just because I don't wear fancy clothes and talk all proper doesn't mean I'm stupid. I know fully well that that chick may be planning to kill me the moment I walk on her ship." The girl said bitterly, returning his glare as she did so. "However, I happen to be nearly starving right now and this is the best opportunity I've received since I became an orphan." And with that, Raine got up from her chair and stalked out of the tavern, sneaking a small piece of food from someone's plate while they aren't looking in the process. Once outside, Raine looked left and right, trying to figure out which way the girl has gone until she noticed a trail of footsteps going off to the left. She immediately took off in that direction, hoping to catch up to Runa before she left.

After it seemed like she'd gone down way too many paths looking for Runa, Raine finally found her. "Runa! Runa! Wait!" She called as she ran towards the girl and, once she was close enough, she poked her on her shoulder. "I...I would like....to join your...crew..." The redhead panted as she tried to catch her breath and looked up at Runa with pleading eyes. "Please."
While the woman was busy questioning Akira, Allura decided to finish up the rest of her breakfast. However, she was not so engrossed in the action that she could not follow the conversation going on around her and she was able to sense that Akira was getting a bit agitated because of her questions. So the angel gave him a reassuring look, as if to say that she was just curious before focusing back on her nearly empty plate. Though the question about his tattoo did raise a few questions of her own but Allura decided that it would be best to keep them to herself for now until they were alone once more. After nodding to his question, the angel stood and proceeded to take her plate over to the woman's sink; she figured that it was the least she could do after being she had been fed so generously by the woman.

Suddenly, Allura picked up on a faint trace of evil energy from somewhere behind her. That demon inside of him must be awake again. She thought with a frown as she returned to her seat, just as the elderly woman asked her a question about Akira's identity. "He's..." Allura had to really think about her answer. She couldn't tell the woman that he was a half demon that was being tracked down by both angels and demons alike, so she settled for another answer: "He's a demon...but he's defiantly different from others. He's a good person, just remember that." The angel replied with a smile that was polite but clearly showed that the topic was not up for discussion. The woman nodded and then slowly stood from her chair. "Come, dear. You'll need to change out of those torn clothes if you plan on blending in around here. Many of my neighbors are still talking about the 'mysterious couple that suddenly appeared out of no where' last night."

Allura allowed herself to be led to another part of the home and, after a bit of searching around, the angel was forced to wear one of the woman's old dresses. "It's a bit short on you but it fits you well." She complimented Allura as she tied a little bow in the back and the angel thanked her in response. Allura wasn't one to wear a dress, but the woman did not have any pants and her husband's were too big on her. Oh well, she would have to just suck it up and go along with it; at least she was still able to put her pouches around her waist. The angel then asked her for directions to the market area before heading out the woman's home to where Akira was waiting on the outside. "She said the market area is a little ways east from here and that it should have everything that we need...ready to go?" She asked as she looked back at Akira and smiled slightly; despite having a rough day only hours before, Allura was in a surprisingly good mood today. It must have been the delicious breakfast that the woman made for them.
