So I managed to survive the semester with a third of my sanity left. To my partners: I'll try to respond to everyone in the next week or so!

If I'm ever online during the week, it means that I'm probably procrastinating with something that I shouldn't be procrastinating with.

Bio

Hello there! I'm HiddenBeauty13, HB13, Hibbie, Beauty, Hidden, or whatever nickname you choose to give me. I have been a member of RPG since 2012 (I believe, don't quote me on this. I could be wrong.)

I am a pretty diligent roleplayer but I am very dedicated to my school work and I do take time from RPG to focus on school, especially since I'm a college student. So please do not be alarmed if I'm MIA for a week (or a few weeks or a few months), I'll be back and ready to continue roleplaying with you!

Aoi had managed to scale a tree to avoid getting K.O. by any monsters. After a while, they seemed to forget that she was there but, as soon as she was about to relax, a familiar voice called from below. Glancing down, she noticed that it was the guy that she had battled only a few minutes before and he came bearing gifts! In his hand were a few MP potions, much to the girl's surprise. Expertly, she hopped down from her spot in the tree and landed a few feet in front of him with a confused yet grateful look on her face.

"You're really giving those to me?" Aoi asked the guy curiously. Most gamers would have not cared if she dropped her potions. Some would have even made her drop more of her potions (if she had any left), but Aoi could clearly see that Ragnarok_Red was no like other gamers. He was actually rather, kind. I can't just accept these potions without giving him something back. She thought as she rummaged through her backpack and, eventually pulled out a few coins. Holding them out to him, Aoi smiled. "Here, we'll trade, okay?" She hoped that he would agree, since Aoi was too stubborn to take the potions without giving something in return.
Allura was about to respond to Akira's suggestion when a man came up to him and began to speak very rudely to the demon. While Allura was fuming on the inside, she was surprised to see that her companion was able to keep calm throughout the entire ordeal and she began to wonder if he was actually the angel here. "That was very uncalled for....but I'm glad that you didn't feed into that man's anger. I think he was waiting for you to hit him or something." She said with a grateful smile and felt her own anger receding from her body. "But yes, let's go on and get the rest of our supplies before we have another encounter like that."

With that goal in mind, Allura reached over and gently grabbed Akira's hand before tugging him forward through the crowd. However, people seemed to make an effort to stay away from the two as they walked, which made Allura's task of leading much easier than it had been before. Plus, she could actually see where she was going this time. Eventually, both her eyes and nose brought her to a vendor who was roasting meat of various kinds and sizes over a huge fire in order to make the meat tougher, which in turn would make it last longer. As they approached, the vendor glanced up at Allura with a look that made her glare. Apparently he did not get the memo that he was supposed to 'hate' the newcomers. "What can I get for you today, miss?" He inquired smoothly as he chopped up a bigger piece of meat in order to make smaller ones.

"I would like a few of your cooked meat there." The angel said, gesturing to the ones slow cooking over the fire. "I can get it for you...how much of it do you want, though?" He asked, wiping his bloodied hands on his already bloody apron. Allura turned to Akira with a raised eyebrow. "How much do you think we should get? It has to be enough to keep us full for a while." She added with a slight smile. She honestly had no idea much they should get, so she hoped that Akira would be able to help her determine a sensible amount.
Raine's hands disappeared inside of her cloak once Drake asked her a question about her weapon. Sure enough, she realized that her dagger was nearly in the same condition as her armor, maybe even a bit worst, actually. "I guess I'll be visiting your friend over there, then." It was a shame that the assassin had let her armor and weapon get this worn out without getting it fixed but what could she do? She'd been hiding out for a year now with her only way to gain food and money by stealing it; that was no easy job, especially if she happened to be caught by the person as well. Raine could practically here the angry voices of those people as she made her way over to the one called John.

"I would like to get this dagger fixed please." The assassin said once she was standing in front of John's work area. The man paused for a moment and looked from her, to her dagger, then back to the sword he was currently working on. "Leave it there." He said, gesturing to the table beside him. "It should be done in approximately two hours." Nodding, Raine thanked him before heading back over to Drake. "Is there a tavern around here? I'm in need of something to eat." She inquired; the girl needed something to do while she waited for both her new armor made and dagger to be fixed.
Aoi was still trying to get the MP out of her bag while her opponent managed to get free of her little 'trap'. C'mon....c'mon.... She thought impatiently to herself and, finally, she felt her fingers brush against the potion bottle. Pulling it out with a yelp of triumph, her expression soon took on a look of surprise as the blade of the guy's sword embedded itself deep into her shoulder, making her drop her MP potion, which shattered into pieces. Aoi was too busy staring at the dropped bottle that she didn't noticed that her health had dropped down to zero in a matter of seconds, causing her to fall over in a momentary state of unconsciousness. The sound of a trumpet blowing sounded in the air and the animated voice returned once more to announce the obvious winner. Ragnarok_Red has won in the battle between Ragnarok_Red and Aoina. The voice said cheerfully before disabling the dueling mode.

Aoina instantly went from being on the ground to standing on her feet. Her wounds were gone but her health and mana were only at 50%. "You....you made me drop my MP potion...." She mumbled to Ragnarok_Red as she stared intently at the spot where her MP had been. "I only have enough money to buy HP potions and that was supposed to last me till I got more money." The girl said more to herself than to him before she lifted her head, glaring at him slightly as she did so. "Thanks a lot." Was all that Aoi said before walking away, not bothering to go to the Potion Specialist NPC of the town...which is something she would eventually regret after nearly getting killed by monsters in the map.
Raine glared at the guard's back as he practically ignored her and continued walking. "Rude, much?" She mumbled to herself but decided that, since he was getting her new armor, the most she could do was keep her sarcastic remarks to herself. With that thought in mind, the girl continued to follow him until he stopped in front of a man, one who she assumed to be a merchant since he had a few items displayed on his table at that time. For a moment, Raine found herself staring at the various items until she heard Derek’s voice beside her. He practically commanded the man to put armor on her before walking away without another word. The two watched him go before turning to look at each other.

It was only then that Raine had actually got a good look at the merchant: he was a man who looked to be in his late forties, early late fifties. Dirty blonde hair was pulled back neatly with a leather strap and his face was lined with wrinkles of all shapes and sizes. His hands were large and worn, as if he had been working since he was born. Despite that, his eyes held a bit of kindness in them as he stood up from where he was sitting.

“Follow me, please.”

Nodding, Raine followed the merchant as he led her to a set of steps that led to an area below the main part of the building. “Where exactly are we going?” Raine asked the man curiously. “Down to the armory so we can get you a new set of armor. It looks like your current one is a bit worn, don’t you think?” He responded with a slight smile and watched as the assassin glanced down at her armor: It was true. The metal plates were covered in scratches and dents while some of her leather straps were hanging on by little strands. The sad part about it was that Raine hadn’t noticed any of it.

“Well, I guess you’re right…I do need a bit of an upgrade.” She said in agreement then fell into a comfortable silence. The silence didn’t last for too long, though, as they finally arrived to the armory. The area was actually much bigger than Raine would have guessed. Armor of all kinds were placed upon the walls neatly and in certain spots so that the heavier armor would sit on a stand that could hold its weight without collapsing. Another thing the girl noticed was the merchants. They were busy pandering to the customers’ needs and sometimes had to climb ladders in order to retrieve the armor that their customer desired. Raine was surprised to see that even children were being fitted for armor as well but she figured that it was simply for training instead of actual work that would require them to fight. Then again, she was fairly unfamiliar with the area, so who knows?

“This way.” The man called to Raine, pulling her out of her thoughts. She followed him once more through the growing crowd of people until they stood in front of what she assumed to be the light weight armor area. The merchant then gestured for her to stand in one spot as he measured her torso, legs and arms. Once he recorded the measurements, he turned and examined the wall of armor behind him. Raine then watched as he scaled up a ladder and looked at the measurement for various pieces of armor before coming back down.

“Unfortunately, we don’t have any in your size, so we’ll have to make one especially for you. I just need a few more measurements.” This time, the measurement taking too a bit longer since the merchant had to measure nearly every part of her arms, legs and torso to make sure that everything would fit comfortably. Eventually, she was allowed to head back up while the merchant took the measurements somewhere else. As she made it back to the main area, she spotted the guard that brought her here and walked over to him.

“So, they didn’t have any in my size and now they have to make a new set or armor for me.” She told him simply. “And thanks for taking me here, I guess.” Raine added under her breath, though her statement was genuine.
Aoina watched carefully as the area around her filled with smoke from her fireball. She hadn’t expected him to take the hit directly nor did she expect him to make the fireball disperse like so. I at least hoped that he would have taken a bit of burn damaged from that. I guess I’ll have to take another approach, then. The mage thought to herself as she looked back and forth carefully, expecting to receive some sort of attack from the guy. She didn’t have to wait long. Soon a gust of slashes and stabs came her way and she attempted to avoid the attack but it was nearly impossible, especially with the slower casting times that she had for her skills.

When the smoke and dust finally cleared, Aoi could be seen standing but her body was coved in various gashes and cuts. As she glanced up, she noticed that it had nearly wiped out ¼ of her health, leaving her with only 3/4 of the original amount and Aoi grimaced slightly. If he did another attack that was similar to that one, the he could potential end the duel before it ever really started. However, the mage was determined to keep that from happening. So she soon began to mutter another chant but this time, clumps of stone began to pry itself from the ground and wrap itself around her opponent’s legs. As soon as it touched him, the stone hardened, making it really difficult to move.

The casting time for this skill was longer than the first, but she did not have to wait for the casting to be over to see the final results of her skill: by the time she made it to the middle of her casting, she stone would be up to his thighs, keeping him rooted to the spot. Just imagine where it would stop if she had not run out of MP. Cursing silently to herself, Aoi shuffled as quickly as she could until she was standing behind the guy and rummaged through her bag for a MP potion. Of course, her spell was incomplete, but the effects were still there. Aoi just hoped that it would last until she was ready to strike again.
Aoi blinked a bit in surprise. She was sure that he would have responded in a more aggressive tone but maybe he had the same mind set as she did. Nodding a bit, she pulled up her game menu and requested to have a duel with the guy. The girl then waited patiently for him to accept the invite. As he did so, an animated voice sounded in the air around them. The duel between Aoina and Ragnarok_Red will begin in 10...9...8... The 'referee' began to count down and Aoi did a quick heal on herself until her HP was at one hundred percent once more; it would not have been smart to start a duel without a full bill of health. 5....4....3.... A mage did not necessarily need to be close to her target to defeat them, so Aoi took those last few seconds to move back a few feet away from her opponent. At that same moment, the voice said: The duel between Aoina and Ragnarok_Red will began now.

However, Aoi didn't move from her spot. Instead, she pulled her staff out in front of her and muttered a few words beneath her breath. Red flames with orange highlights licked up her legs, up her torso and eventually down her arms to where her hands were clutching her staff comfortably but firmly, causing a ball of fire to grow steadily in front of her; her casting speed was not as fast as she would have liked, but the girl figured that it would improve as she got up in her leveling. Eventually, the small ball of fire grew into one that was nearly the size of a basketball and Aoi could feel the heat radiating from it. Once she felt as though the fireball was at a reasonable size, she shoved it towards the guy, jumping to the size as she did so. She figured that he would attack the spot where the fireball came for...but honestly she just hoped that her assumptions were right.
